Video Games What Are Some Of Your Favorite Video Games And Why?
Larz Zahn replied to a topic in Japanese Entertainment
Bullet storm. Borderlands 1 and 2 Time splitters, mostly the last one. War for Cybertron Fall of Cybertron vanquish Mass effect 1 2 3 Spiderman Web of shadows Edge of time Shattered dem. Amazing Spiderman Crackdown 1 and 2 Dark sector Gundam dynasty warrior 1 2 3 In addition to some of the games already mentioned. -
Aptom may have enough juice left to go invisible.... Its a toss up. Even with a megasmasher, he's hard to kill. If even a finger survives he'll comeback. May take a few hours but he'll be ok. I'm more concerned about Sho vs Apollyon. He wiped out a Zoalord with minimal effort. Even Sho has to work a little bit when fighting one. This is possibly a big fight. Maybe round one. Guyver doesn't usually get round 2 or round 3 in the manga, but i doubt Apollyon dues here, or even suffers serious damage.

Jupiter.... You just agreed with my point. Sho will kill as a defensive measure.... I don't get your post, are you agreeing with me, trying to correct me... I'm not sure sure what you mean.

I think that the only way Alky would die is if he came after Sho and his. Sho doesn't go looking for trouble. He's content to be left alone. But cronus only hurts themselves when ever they attack Sho. Agito if the only Guyver who is proactively against cronus. So if alt goes after Sho for his unit, i can see Alky dying as a result.

No prob. Glad to help, besides. I'm a sucker for small details.

Kerboom! Kersplat!! Pop... Fizzle... Sizzle.... Ok, so i was reading the volumes over. I got a traveling time from the school to relics point. 3 hours. Rough estimate, heres why. In the second volume, Revenge of Chronus (viz) Aptom picked up Agito from school to take him to relics point. The car pulled over long enough to drop off Aptom and Dyme then continued on its way. At relics point, while Guyver 1 and Aptom are fighting, a cronus soldier reports that the Segawas and shos dad are on their way. And as for Agito, i quote. "and master Agito should arrive in about 3 hours." Sorry for keep bringing this up. I just found it interesting we had an actual accounting for the time it takes.

The Most Evil Villian I've Ever Encountered
Larz Zahn replied to Shin Mefilas's topic in Japanese Entertainment
Alky don't fear Guyot. Alky gave him every chance he could to name things right. And when Guyot attacked him? Alky slapped him down like a little kid. Honestly, he exerted more effort to kill the Guyvers with their own megasmashers. Sometimes is hard to pin him down. Evil is in the eye of the beholder. He may not even have values like we do. Alky is from a different time, a different age. Heh, he's an evil captain America! Guyot... Has out ever been stated in the manga what his intentions were after he got a unit? I can't recall... I mean, it would be pretty obvious that its world domination, at least that's what we assumed? But what if its just a power trip? He wants ultimate power? Course this is all a mute point if Guyots endgame was mentioned. -
The Most Evil Villian I've Ever Encountered

I'm going with Alkanphel. Dude has no remorse, no sympathy for just anyone. He woke up and the world is functioning fine. So he creates a organization that's goal is total domination and slavery. And going about that was sneaky too. Letting the average person cost to get optimized as a fad but never revealing that they give up their freedom. Alkanphel kills without remorse if he is inconveinced. Even his own men, heck they didn't even know he was there and he killed them anyway. Major superiority complex. -
It was better than the actual original origin. Dude was struck by lightening while working on power lines.
-
Durandel, you know how important those attack names are!! It could change everything we thought we knew about Guyver!
-
And once again, shade brings out the big guns.... Freaking beautiful dude. Beautiful... sighs happily)

This is true. Neo extole was converted into a lost number. But was only difficult to control and to track. Only when he got into the thick of battle and over emotional... Um... Berserk, if you will, did he have trouble getting thru to Neo extole. The same thing happened to genzo when he fought Guyver one. He totally lost it.
-
I just want to let it be known, that Aptom only said that lost numbers were hard to track. Not control. Page 136. Lol.
-
Ok i looked it up. I'm using the viz volumes, so the translation may be a little faulty. On page 136 Aptom is talking to Balcus thru Elegen. He says that all lost numbers are hard to mind trace. And thanks to Balcus reoptimizing aptom that last time, Aptom cab no longer be tracked. That's why he wore that headset. On page 138. Aptom then tells Balcus that he's been freed on the Zoalords control. And Balcus never knew it before hand. So my theory. I think that the zoanoids ability to receive the telepathy and be tracked by a Zoalord is a different process and device than a zoanoids genetically engineered loyalty to s Zoalord. What ever Balcus did to Aptom that last time, it erased that genetic code of complete loyalty. Anyway, that's my theory. (be gentle when ripping it to shreds! Haha!)
-
Another thing i noticed. Sorry of this its nitpicking but I'm a little crazy about details like these. Lost numbers were not originally immune to a Zoalords effect. Aptom to begin with could hear a Zoalords commands and had to obey. Save goes for solmun and dyme. But Aptom was a unique case, he always had a harder time hearing Zoalords. But it was only him. And it was after he got reprocessed did he become immune. After the battle at relics point, the rebel scientists opted to become lost numbers to be free from cronus. Because cronus kept their scientists in line by making them drug or chemical dependent. They under went risky optimization to purposly be immune to control, it was a goal, not a side effect.

I got curious about something and broke out my viz volumes to check. Sho and Murakami encountered the fake Mizuki and the location of relics point, and started driving that way at night. 2nd volume. In the 3rd volume you see Sho and Murakami outside relics point. Its day time and if i had to guess from the way the sky was drawn, I'd say early morning. That's a long drive!

Ooooo! Thanks spleach!

What about passive abilities? Powers that have no combat potential? I would say like Regen, or something to do with the suits protection against extreme heat? I just don't see how an orb would effect cellular regeneration. Its been here since the beginning, and im having a hard time believing that another base Guyver power will emerge so late in the show, especially once the gigantic showed up.
-
Ya know, i never seen the English version. I only seen the subbed.
-
Yall, the question was, which Mizuki version was most annoying. Not which version of Guyver was best. I picked the ova because of the English dubbing, because shot if her lines strained my ears. Sho! I need you to believe in me! That line alone nearly made me turn the show off. Petty maybe, but her voice detracted from emotional scenes in my opinion. The subbed version was better
-
Ova, hands down!
-
That's not what i meant. Go back to Alkanphel009s picture and LOOK closely at it. There is another sphere INSIDE the head beam...
