I don't know, I don't have the same concept as other I guess. I don't see bright colours as being for children. I see bright colours as being for positive people. I see dark colours as being for promoting feelings of depression and sadness and fear. I don't really see colour scheme in this way, I suspect it is because of the western habit of using bright colours for kids shows and drab colours for adult shows, but in japan ,this disctintion is not made. personally I hate this concept. for example, I hated how they got rid of the colourful suits in the x-men movies for black leather. for whatever reason, to be 'cool' something has to be dark and have spikes on it. ehm, ok so when i say it was too dark for my tastes, I mean it made me feel gloomy or depressed.

it's tough.. a lot of people thought gekiranger had a powerful story, but personally i felt it was a pretty lame arms race. (IMO it even put dragonball Z to shame) dekaranger has had some good reviews. dairanger... not sure about. garo is meant to be very good, but i didn't like it because it was a bit too dark for my tastes. if you want something that is quality like hurricanger, my recommendation would be the series that came next. abaranger. I'm currently watching samurai high school. brilliant series, really enjoying it. can't say much about it because of spoilers but i love his attitude and the way he moves.

one thing i'm picking up on with this series is the motif, whereas in OOO the motif was the circles and the linking of the primary colour to each set of medals etc, in ZZZZ the main motif seems to be very saturated colours. it seems to me that things that are significant are give a very strong saturated colour. other than that there doesn't seem to be any significant shape. I'm also wondering about a type of design i've noticed which is a nodular type design that suggests circuitry.

I don't understand. would you be able to explain to us why you think this way? I just watched it and i can't identify any apparent weaknesses. but then you do a lot of music videos so you are pretty switched on in this regard.

did you see it raw yet? I LOVE IT! it's so cool in so many ways! it's exciting, it's fun, it's got energy! I love the rocket arm. that thing is so awesome. it looks pretty awful on it's own, it looks like a tacky toy, but with the special effects added in, it just completely transforms it into something that is raw with power,energy and 'WOW'. this is actually the coolest rider since faiz. I mean the way he moves, the way things light up and the way fights pan out. I need to learn that a initial design that looks really bad, has a really good chance at being really awesome.

i don't know, that sounds a bit similar to a deus ex machina to me. II mean, any explanation of where he would have come from would be a bit weak if it has not already been mentioned or referenced a LOT earlier. I think apollon has been referenced already in a subtle way. this is why i think it was poignant when imakarum laid alkanfel in the temple. I am not certain but alky could be dead. he did say he leaves the rest to imakarum. and then imakarum removed those shades at the end but we did not see his eyes. I think alky may have expired and imakarum is free. that is an interesting scene in book 17. oh here is something interesting. a book written by one 'apollodorus' tells the tale of alkyoneus. i found this to be interesting, since imakarum is the only other to hold the knowledge, or the 'story' that alkanfel held. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bibliotheca_%28Pseudo-Apollodorus%29

bananaking, i think you need to review book 17. we have already seen imakarum flying into space to get to the ark. oh, angelxero, you mean the navigation sphere? I never thought the navigation sphere created or used heat, but it could do. [emote=onion]orly[/emote] so you think the armour was made out of a navi sphere.. that is very possible! I am not sure if I considered that before. I wonder where we are on a translation... durendal or amika, what is our situation on a translation?

do you mean, if the armour was in the relic that guyver zero attacked, where alky is now resting.... then it would have survived the megasmasher, because shou's control medal survived the power of the megasmasher above mount minakami.? the armour and the control medal are made of the same material, aren't they?

yes you are definitely right. they are all in the same universe from here on. since the end of decade, they seem to be intent on keeping the universe as one. and yes, I did notice what you did with the rules I thought it was very smart choice ah nice vids.

nicely done dude I'm really looking forward to this series! I LOVE the bright colours they use, and after seeing some clips of the , I am very impressed! it's really wild! do we have any videos of the trailer? I have to admit, the suit looks really kooky, but i am sure it fits the style, as the series appears to be pretty gung-ho and rather goofy in style.

cannibal, nice so hey, this talking about imakarum possibly being apollon and collecting the crystals to heal alkanfel... well alky is said to have the abilities of all zoalords. we might assume he also has the ability that shizu has. healing. but that is not to say he can heal himself of whatever is wrong. but imakarum has some of alky's abilities if not all of them. imakarum could potentially heal alky.

i was glad to see the things that we saw. personally I felt that the outcome was not competely satisfactory based on the things that were suggested and the things I have experienced in real life.

all the more reason we all need to be careful. just remember people like odin who I believe is relatively new to tokusatsu. odin is watching OOO but i do not know what past series he has seen. anyway, I watched the OOO's time release of the final episode last night, as fourze is coming out next week. I am fully expecting to watch the raw of fourze and probably will do for the first few eps.

you never know, if they fight, shizu's coat might get shredded. then when they both turn back, they will both be naked. aptom likes a bit of nudity. then it's a menage et trois... well it would be if takaya sensei was using his other name chimi morio for this chapter ah, in a manga where there is so much nudity, it's hard to escape this line of thought! XD but only in jest of course.

I had come in here ready to give my thoughts about the final episode of OOO, but now i'm trying to process the fact that you just utterly spoiled the ending of blade in a spoiler tag for OOO.

REALLY?? Oh, wow, that is so awesome!!!!! it really tugs at my heart strings. just when we think we've got agito figured out, we see something like this. he isn't so two dimensional. he actually considered for their safety. that's sweet.

this is interesting because 3 of us is a skilled artist but i think each of us has different strengths. (durendal I don't know if I've seen any of your design work, I don't recall) I am sure we can collaborate on one design? what do you think of that? Odin, you have a fine strength of creating nice detailed polished final pieces. I feel my strength is in the creative, balancing and colour balance. Toku warrior strength is good at bringing in lots of different influences from many different places and original ideas and good sketch work. so I think it might be nice if toku warrior comes up with an initial idea, I can refine that and then odin can finalise it? just a suggestion of course.

most definitely I love how this turned out. very emotional as always. I hadn't realised that naruto is in danger of becoming arrogant. but it is true. I can really relate to that feeling, everyone wants to be the hero and forgets the strengths of those around them. that is what teamwork is and having friends.

pah! I tried to watch that hotaru no hikari again. I like the series intro, it's got nice pacing and good atmosphere. but these subtitles are bloody awful. it's not just the speed and placement of the subs, although that is bad enough in itself... my japanese is not too bad, I can gain a good impression of the themes of conversations and in some places i understand the basic meaning of what they are saying and some parts i simply understand completely. i'm not kidding these subtitles are just getting things wrong. not completely wrong, but there are sentence changes that are totally unnecessary. some parts they are inflating the dialogue needlessly and it's not even in good english. the sentence structure they end up with is so bloody awkward that it makes it a chore to read it. i think i need to do some more japanese study and then come back to this series and watch it raw.

'tis a great time of life enjoy yourself as much as you can! I'd love to go to college again. well actually I probably will. but it won't be the same as when i was young and carefree. many poeple say college/university was the best years of their life. I won't be so melodramatic to say that as I believe the best time in my life will be when i have children but oh well.

adding abarenbo mama to my watched list great series, really enjoyed it. gonna watch hotaru no hikari next. what are you guys watching? have i missed any series that you have recommended? can you recommend any more?
