  1. http://www.wikihow.com/Buy-Film-Rights-to-a-Book Current Guyver Publisher is Kadokawa Shoten aka 角å·æ›¸åº— http://shoten.kadokawa.co.jp/ One would have to contact the Rights and Acquisitions Department as well as the Author/Agent, in this case Yoshiki Takaya. (By the way in searching a possible agent, turns out Yoshiki does autograph events) Just be wary though. Recently A new branch of the company came to be, called Kadokawa Pictures. It's a new film division, so if someone has rights transferred there, than it will be hard to acquire the rights overseas.I wish everyone luck regardless.

  2. Hello, JayantSparda. Your work appears to be quite impressive. Thank you for taking the interest in to creating a Guyver movie. You may want to try contacting David Hayter and Steve Wang, first, before looking for a more direct approach. A third Guyver movie was not created due to a film rights issue. However, David had became aware on the understanding that it may have been resolved, after having a casual conversation with Steve in August 2013 about making a third Guyver film. Both of them did not know who had the rights at the time. However, as it has now been approximately six months since their initial discussion in to making a third Guyver film, new developments may have occurred. Good luck on your search.

  3. I don't know about rights, but who publishes the guyver dvds now? is it funimation? perhaps they have the rights by default? by the way, you need to contact kadokawa for any rights that aren't already bought up. I think. and apparently they are real swines to work with? I could be totally wrong with anything I said here.

  4. to be fair, 93 views is not a lot. the forum detects views by visitors as well as signed up members. also, consider teh fact there is a thread around here somewhere with lots of talk about the figma line. then consider, the real collectors don't always visit every day. some members visit once a week or even once a month. about the recent wonderfest, my friend visited. he took some photos of the guyver 1 figma. not much info as far as i can gather apart from it being made available this summer. https://twitter.com/lycanthropebata/status/432476115915911168 https://twitter.com/lycanthropebata/status/432475493703507968

  5. haha, you'll learn that this forum isn't frequented as much these days.......sadly......also we have a lot of lurkers and few posters........ In response to your questions...........yes, Max Factory did announce a Figma at Wonder Festival last year.............it's been 12 months since then, and whilst pre-orders were supposed to go up in December for an April release, nothing has yet materialized........ I was hoping we might have seen something at yesterdays Wonder Festival in Japan, but sadly it doesn't look good. They seem to be cashing in on the Shingeki No Kyojin series for now............. The latest e-mail response from Max Factory after being asked about the release was: "Hello. Thank you very much for contacting us. However, it has not been decided, yet. If any news comes up, you will see it on our homepage. Thank you for your kind understanding." My feeling is that the figure has been delayed indefinitely and it's quite possible it will end up in the same abyss as all the other Guyver prototypes they have shown us over the past 5 years................. Sorry it couldn't have been better news.............
