This is fairly minor compared to River's loss, but this happened just a couple of hours ago.  We just lost one of our cats.  She was gone for about week, and came home last night ill and she passed away earlier today.  That does sometimes happen around here.  All of our cats are outdoor cats and sometimes they eat something they shouldn't and they can suddenly become ill.  Even at that, though, we've had plenty of cats that lived full life spans.  We have one that's about 12 years old, and we've had a couple that lived to be almost 20 years old.

 

Of course, we also have some cats that we're really close to, and it'd be even more sad if we lost one of them.  This cat wasn't very close to us, but she was still part of our family.

I had a great nights sleep. Woke up feeling pretty good this morning. I think today is going to be better than yesterday. We can't always have everyday with a good day. Cant have that can we.

I managed to wake up and I'm trying to get stuff looked up before errand running today.  My first ride in the Pontiac in a while.  It's better than the Jeep, which reminds of the Twinkie mobiles known as school buses when I was going to school.

@Chernaudi: Hahahaha!  Twinkie mobiles?!  Made me smile genuinely in days!  I remember the Giant Twinkie and cheese wagon jokes me and my brother used to make, but that was funny, man!

I always found the funerals to be the most depressing part after I have a loved one pass away.

Give him a good send off.

Just remember death is not the end, and that they will always remain in your heart.
