This is a topic that I'd like to reserve for the discussion of weather.  What we think about it, how it is in one's area of the world, likes/dislikes, anything to do with weather.

To get started, at least this weekend will be great, sunny and highs in the 70s and it'll be almost 80 tomorrow.  But then Monday it'll get stormy and though the high will be around 70, by Tuesday it'll cool down to lower than 40 for a high.  I've had enough of winter, and it's the middle of April...

So, now post away I guess ;)

I guess before we go any further we need to iron out units. when you say 70, you obviously mean Fahrenheit. we don't really understand that in the uk as we work in Celsius.  perhaps we should have a quick reference table to understand each other?

Well, its warm where I'm at. I've been wanting to take a stroll in some rainy weather.

Yeah, that.  I did mean degrees F.  If anyone's interested, you can post a link to a metric to English converter, or a table.

This is also a good link for US members, NOAA's Storm Prediction Center site.  After all, it's severe weather season in the US now:  http://www.spc.noaa.gov/

As for here, it's actually supposed to be close to 80 degrees F today, but then it's supposed to start to rain and storm here and cool off.  I'm not liking that, because it'll be winter-like again for a couple of days.

Summer started here and it's fricking hot.  Temperature goes up as high as 38°C (100°F).  If you leave your car under the sun the whole day, you can literally cook an egg on your hood at 3PM.

That could be out plight this summer for all I know.  Last year, it'd get insanely hot, then storm, and cool off for a day or two before the cycle begins again.  I couldn't stand the heat and humidity.  And then this winter, we get in compensation insane cold and tons of snow.

Today, it's supposed to cool down and tonight it's supposed to start to snow again.  Needless to say, I'm not happy about it.

Today's a definite bad weather day.  Near 40 degree drop in temperature in about 18 hours, most of it overnight.  It's now cold and snowy, and the sudden change made me ill.  I awoke with a sinus headache, and between that and splitting a log that should've taken 15 seconds to split instead took about 10 minutes at least it seems, that left me pretty wiped out already.

When one of my other brothers get up, I'm probably popping a sinus pill and going back to sleep for a while.

Felt like Spring today. Nice day for a walk.

It's going to be warming up a bit in my area, though it's still in general going to be unseasonably cool and wet.

You know the Proverb "April showers bring May flowers"?  Well, it did rain a bit here in April, but May will definitely start off wet and cool based on the Weather Channel's forecasts.

I think it'll probably rain tonight.  Weather forecast says it shouldn't, but it getting dark, clouding up, getting breezy and cooling off, all signs that a weather front is near.

Rained here today, and it feels like spring. It was a great day.

The weather was totally strange today.  Not as bad as say Richmond, VA, where the NASCAR races are this weekend (Sprint Cup qualifying got rained out and there was a tornado reported near the track), but this morning, around 10:00, I went out side, and it couldn't have been more than 55 degrees.  But it felt about 20 degrees warmer than that at least, because of the sun being out and how humid it was.  And about 10 minutes ago, if felt about 30 degrees cooler, though the temperature didn't change much.

Keep an eye out in the areas I mentioned above tomorrow, too.  There's already extensive damage in parts of KS and AR tonight, and areas near there will get hammered tomorrow sadly.

Particularly dangerous situation tornado watch for parts of MS and AL right now, and a large, destructive tornado sturck parts of Tupelo, MS a while ago.

Stay safe if you're in the watch area and warning areas.

You know, Tornados scare me. I'm terrified of being hit by one or sucked into one. That'd be a horrible way to go.

My area was just under a tornado warning.  It was issued for northern Richland County until 9:45.  It was odd, because I knew that the storm was coming and how intense the lighting was, but it took forever it seemed for even a severe thunderstorm warning to get issued anywhere near the storm.  It was a huge bow echo, and sometimes the leading edge could have tornado vortex signatures in them.
