Archanfel's Plan

Although Archanfel's plan to take 12 zoalords and an army of zoanoids into deep space, via the ark, seems to be falling apart, what do you think would happen if he was successful in finding the advents? My thoughts are that they would obviously be attacked, what chance would Archanfel and the ark have against them?

Depends. Do the ships themselves have weapons to fire? Don't seem like it. Then it comes down to hand to hand and what the Advents have in the way of #'s of troops and zoalord level fighters. I would think the Advents could overwhelm them with just shear #'s.

Or shear power. Look at what they did to Alky with just their mind. And the ark does have a weapon. Mirabilis used it on silha island modified to heal Alky. Or was it vice versa?

Also have to wonder, how the hell do you fling a planet into a planet? If they had bothered to check up on us, they might if thrown more.

Yeah, cuz they stopped alky from continuing to follow them so they should still be able to control the zoanoids and the zoalords. And if they can hurl one huge asteroid across the galaxy they could probably hurl a bunch smaller ones at the ark. Not sure how alky expects to get near them to do anything unless there is something yet to be revealed that we don't know about.

For a plan that he's supposedly had a long time to think about, I think he would have worked out some way of avoiding having Zoanoids controlled by the Advents. So even though we don't know about it, there is something there. Maybe he was relying on their will or the basic design of a zoanoid includes something. If Alkanphel is going for revenge, then I doubt he'd take anything less than what he considered overwhelming power.

 

I tend to agree though, there does not seem to be any weapons on the Advent ships. The Ark is armed but it takes way too much energy to fire the weapon we saw!

 

Though... playing devils advocate, what if Alkanphel isn't going to fight the Advents... he could be going to show them that their experiment was a success and that they should now use humans as they wanted to originally.

If that happens I will go to Japan and slap Mr. Takaya for going that route.  That would be IMHO a rather horrendous way to direct the story unless one of the Zoalords brings some sense to Alky when all hell breaks loose. 

 

I honestly cannot add to the discussion as there is too little information to go by.  There's just too many ways this could go.

What about Mirabilis?  He is weird, mentally speaking.

I mean, didn't Balcus say something about linking his mind to Alkanphel, an imprint or something?  How is Mirabilis different exactly?

Point is, will the Advent telepathy work on him exactly?  How unique is he?

Mirabilis is in a constant telepathic link to Archanfel, so they more or less share everything, thoughts and feelings, and can sense one another. Utter intimacy (hold your horses fan girls) in a scale that is difficult to understand, at the same time they still have different minds and personalities. Barcus apparently did this at Alky's command, and made sure that Alky had an unlimited influence on our former hero. 

A question does creep up, since Mirabilis had started showing doubt over his actions, one wonders if Alky being knocked out has weakened his servitide. There is also a question of Mirabilis possibly influencing Alky, despite being the subjugated personality. We don't even know how much Barcus altered his mind as well. He seems to retain memories, but how much of them is open to question. 

Just when you learn a few details, we are stuck with 20 other questions because we haven't seen his point of the story progress in... years actually.

Matter of fact the ark does have a weapon, it was used to reenergize Imakarum after his battle with Gigantic Dark.

River Chaos, I think if that happened you might be having to fight your way to the beginning of the line to get to Takaya.

 

At this point in time... I don't really care about plot development. I think he lost the plot a while back to be honest. I'm just hoping he finishes before he dies!

But seriously I wonder what he intended to do when he found them. Was he planning on all out war from the start (which lets face it one ship isent realy that big of a threat unless  the Ark is as powerfull as an eclipse class star destroyer) or was he planning to meet and try to speak with them first.

 

Or is it possible that he hasen't planned that far ahead yet, when he started was he simpley following the creaters plan for earth and has only resently making detailed plans on how to follow his makers. That was likly his plan from the start but what I'm asking is if he  had it all mapped out from the get-go or he had a goal in mind and is slowly building toward it piece by piece.

 

As for what he wants with the guyver its likly he wants it to save himself but also to free himself permanently from the creaters conrtol if he isent already.
