November 25, 201312 yr I could of done without the "he's kinda hot" moment. It kinda killed the current mood. And v guyver? The clone part i was talking about was when everybody was in the fortress. 3 to 4 supermen appeared but only one was real. Second movie! Sorry! November 26, 201312 yr Author Weird. Everyone complains about the 'kinda hot' comment. Am I the only one that liked it? It was one of the few comments in the whole movie that actually made you feel something 'different' than the monotonous blaahhh, er, I mean awe and wonder.
November 26, 201312 yr The only reason i didn't like it, was cause it didn't fit in with the rest of the movie. That one line, while it wasn't bad and was probably intended for humor, just didn't mesh with how the rest of the movie was portrayed. For me anyhow. Edited November 26, 201312 yr by Larz Zahn
November 26, 201312 yr "he's kinda hot"Wasn't a bad line, just... I dunno, if it had been earlier in the movie I don't think anyone would of had an issue with it. But to have the movie close with that after all that chaos is just bad pacing. When a movie ends, you want the movie to impact you, having that line in there will stick in your head instead of what should of stuck in your head instead. Mainly what happened between Zod and Supes in the end. Also, now that I reflect on "he's kinda hot". I can only imagine Superman somehow dressing up like shaft and takes random women home for sex before flying off to Harlem.
November 27, 201312 yr Author The Critic just reviewed Man of Steel http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/41449-man-of-steel
November 27, 201312 yr Ahh, you just beat me to it. Funny enough, they actually mentioned the exact same point at the end. Everything they both mentioned was pretty much how I felt on both ends of the spectrum. Never agreed so much wither either one of them before. And strangely, with both of them at the same time. How weird.
January 14, 201412 yr the movie has been out for a while and I still have so much to talk about it, here is something DC uploaded to celebrate Superman's 75 anniversary and it just clicked on me, I can't choose what music score I love more the legendary John william's superman theme or Hans Zimmer's Man of steel theme, they are both epic and bring about the feeling of how inspiring superman can be, I bought the man of steel sound track and I can't get enough of it, which one do you guys prefer more?
January 14, 201412 yr Watched it recently, now it's my fav Superman movie. ...Also watched Superman 4, for contrast
