Daft Punk - Random Access Memories

Featured Replies

Anyone here a Daft Punk fan? Their new album is available to stream on iTunes starting from today!

I'm a huge Daft Punk fan so I may be a little (read: very) biased but I'm finding it incredible. I'm on my second listen right now. Some of the tracks are so out there and un-Daft Punk (or at least unexpected from what we've come to know).

The Giorgio Moroder and Paul Williams collaborative tracks are just amazing - I love lengthy tracks! The Paul Williams track, "Touch", is appropriately enough, very touching. And the album version of Get Lucky is so much more interesting than the single version, including a longer guitar solo from Nile Rodgers.

Hopefully I'm not the only one on this board hyped to hell and back over this

Not a huge fan but loved their music video about the intergalactic space band.  I think I posted that somewhere in this board.  Was probably deleted since it was very old.

Trouble with daft punk is they have now officially become mainstream which means every radio station will play their music to death and chavs will suddenly be thinking electro and Nudisco is awesome.

I always prefer this stuff when it's underground. Public consumption has a way of tainting this stuff.
