Hi everyone.

I won't be going to Port Clinton tomorrow--a lot of people who were supposed to be going with me had to cancel, so I'll be saving some money and doing something with a friend in town.

Other than that, I got a bunch of grocery stuff and I'll just be doing my normal stuff tonight.  I don't really have a ton more to report on, though I did get a lot more done at work than I though I would today.

Hi everyone.

I had a busy day today, between visiting car dealerships, to the library, to finding a good place to eat in the next town, to visiting the bird sanctuary.

I also found out the best time to visit the bird sanctuary is when they're getting ready to feed the birds. There's currently two barn owls at the sanctuary, one is Monty (

Monty is sociable and he was eating his mice today as you'd think that a barn owl would. Athena, though, was flying around in her cage and was attempting to mantle her food, though she was standing on a perch and her food was on a stand nearby.

Of course, I should note that this was the most active that I've ever seen Athena at the sanctuary. She usually is either sleeping on her perch or sitting there and ignoring people.

So today was pretty good and I have some stuff that I'd like to do before trying to get some sleep before work tomorrow.

Hi everyone.

I hope that you enjoyed my previous update from the bird sanctuary.  Wednesday wasn't so great.  I woke up sick and had to stay home from work.  Thankfully I'm better today, but I can feel that it seems like it'll rain or storm later on.

I did get some new ice cream today, namely Sam's Choice (Walmart) Blackberry Crumble, which is supposed to be like a blackberry pie flavored ice cream with crushed blackberries and sweetened pie crust in it.  It's pretty good, just like the chocolate hazelnut truffle version, but way less rich than that stuff.

I'm about to make myself a little something to eat, then I'll just look up some stuff and try and stay cool and dry the rest of tonight.

Past couple of days have been pretty decent.  I got some grocery stuff yesterday and on Monday I plan on trying to get my hands on a couple of magazines at the book store.

I'll just be doing my usual stuff today.  This is Le Mans week so I'm getting ready for that.  And right now I'm getting ready to make my grandma dinner and myself some dinner.  In this case, it'll probably be hamburgers and fries.  I wanted to make that last night, but instead I had some mixed nuts and fell asleep.

Hi everyone.

I learned a new skill at work today.  I started to scan a new type of file today and I've really enjoyed it so far.  Only problem is that I'm going through them so fast and there's relatively few of them for me to work on now.

Other than that, things are pretty much normal.  I have some stuff I wanna look up and do before I go back to sleep and try and cope with heat, humidity and thunderstorms.

I'll be running some errands later, and it's pretty hot and humid right now.

That's usually why I tend to be a night owl during summer.  At least it should be cooler at night.

Le Mans track action ended today, and won't resume until Saturday.  So tonight I'll be trying to finish looking some stuff up and possibly making some fried chicken, should it cool down enough.

I've been kinda under the weather today, and I'm not feel that great at all right now.

At least the 24 Hours of Le Mans is tomorrow and this time I'm not going to watch all of it.  There's going to be about 10 hours not shown on TV, and I'll take the time to get some rest.

Sorry for not being active the past few days.  Between watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans and trying to get back to work on Monday, I've been kinda busy.

It also rained a ton last night and some water came into our house from a clogged drain.  Nothing was damaged, though.

So in short I'm just hoping for few "normal" days coming up.

Hi everyone.

Today was OK.  It was rainy and cool, and I do have some dishes that I'd like to try and wash tonight.  

Biggest thing was that I learned that cats and other animals can have dreams--and what they do while they are dreaming.  Our cat Marcy (the stray/feral cat we got a while back), who is now fully grown and pregnant, was twitching and acting weird when she was sleeping a while ago.  I thought that she was having a seizure or was going into labor.  However, she was just dreaming.  She's fine, and she's gotta be having her kittens soon--she'll probably explode, otherwise.  She has also grown tolerant of having her belly rubbed--usually she bites at us to keep use from doing that.

I'll just be doing some stuff tonight and trying to find a way to fight off the oncoming humidity that'll be coming in tomorrow.

Hi everyone.

Well, Marcy (our pregnant cat) didn't explode, but she did give birth to 5 kittens.  Here's how they turned out:  1 all grey, 1 grey and white, 1 black and white, 1 mostly black tiger-striped, and 1 calico.  So far Marcy has been a good mother, but she does keep trying to move the kittens to another place, so we moved her and her kittens to where she's been trying to move them.

Other than that, today was a pretty good day.  I do have an outing tomorrow so I have that to look forward to.  I'm just going to spend the rest of my night looking up stuff and getting ready for tomorrow.

Little kitties are still doing well with mama kitty Marcy and I had a good outing today.  It was pretty humid out, but at least tonight it's cooled off.

I haven't been up to much today.  I mostly slept in (though I was up most of the night last night), and really, nothing much has happened.  I do have work tomorrow and then I work 3 days in a row before I get 4 days straight off because of work being closed on the 4th of July.

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to plan what I want to do this weekend.  It's a long one, since I don't go into work Monday due to a computer system update that won't allow me to actually do any real work that day.  I do work Tues-Thus before I get Friday off.  I also have a computer scanning training on Tuesday and a possible meeting after work on Wednesday.  

One thing that I'll be trying to do is update my photos that I've had saved on my laptop.  Right now it's mostly Audi Sport racing photos.  I haven't updated my albums on here in a long time and I found a new place to get HQ photos.  The site is the Audi Media Center, officially run and endorsed by Audi AG and Audi Sport.  You can read press releases, view videos, and look at HQ photos and download such stuff for news outlets, blogs, and for personal private use.  Of course, you don't have to download the stuff and you can probably easily view the photos by selecting them to open up in whatever media/photo gallery system/software you have.

Other than that, my weekend's pretty open.  It's cool and rainy, and it's perfect sleeping weather.  I was spent after Friday afternoon, so I guess that rest is the best medicine

Hi everyone.

I haven't really been up to too much today.  Cool, rainy, dark.  Good sleeping weather.  Which was a good thing, as I had a splitting headache this morning.

I've made huge progress on updating my own personal Audi photo albums.  I'll work a little more on that tonight if I'm in the mood.

Also, I have to figure out if I wanna make a couple of hamburgers and fries for dinner tonight, or make some pancakes or even experiment with making crepes.  Sort of thinking that the pancakes or crepes might wait until at least Wednesday when I get some money.

Hi everyone.

Sorry for not being more active over the past few days.  I've had a couple of long days at work and I've been sleeping a lot because of being so busy at work.  I had a training meeting Tuesday and another meeting yesterday, so that's where most of the extra time has come from as well as running errands after work.

At least I bought a new razor yesterday and it worked phenomenally well.  Best $6 I've spent recently.

I'll be getting ready for work now and I'll close out my work week with a normal day at work today.

Sorry I haven't been posting much this week.  I've been busy, sick, and in pain.  I did finally get to see a doctor about my shoulder, and now I'm on medication for it.  I have to also try and get an x-ray done on Friday, too.  

Work has been going fine aside from scanning system updates and my shoulder/arm pain.  

So today I'm going to try and get some dishes washed and some other stuff done that I've been putting off.

I got my x-ray done on Friday and other than that, I haven't been up to a whole lot.

I have been playing a PC game that I haven't worked on in nearly a year, so that's been fun, kinda.

Hi everyone.

I'm a weird mix of happy and depressed right now.  

I'm happy in that on Friday I get paid and can now get the magazines that I want since the story that carries them has got them now.

But I'm also depressed, too.  Today was nothing special.  I'm tired of the rain, and I'm tired of having a hard time talking with/making new friends.  I guess that I'm just kinda bored.  

I guess that tonight I'll try and make something to eat and try to work on a PC game that I've been playing.

Hi everyone.

I've been struggling with not feeling very well recently.  I've been struggling with depression and physical pain in my left arm.  I'll be seeing one of my doctors on Monday to see about having the depression and moodiness dealt with.  

I was so bad off today that I actually left work early, something that I almost never do.  So I hope that things get better soon.  Only good thing I accomplished today is that I sort of learned how to use the new scanning system at work.

I'm in a better mood today.  It was actually sunny out and I don't feel as depressed.  I still feel kinda down and tired, but it's not as bad as the past few days.

I'll probably try and make some fried chicken tonight and get ready for work tomorrow, as well as running quite a few errands.  Hopefully I'll be able to buy those magazines I've been wanting soon, too.

I got the magazines that I wanted last night and now I'm trying to keep cool in this weather.  Heat index is up around 100 where I live, so drink a lot of fluids and stay safe if you're in a hot and humid area.
