Hi everyone.

The biggest event of the past couple of days is that Marcy kitty is now allowed to run freely around the house for periods of time.  However, she's already escaped at least once for sure, maybe twice, though she came back in both times.  There's a place in our attic that the older cats use to find their way out.  But when one considers that Marcy spent about the first 6 or so months of her life outside, and the weather has been decent, it's little wonder why she wants to venture outside.

But it seems that she knows that this is where she can get easy access to food and water, and there's people here who like her and the other cats don't really bother her.  But we've had no luck getting Mama Kitty out of her carrier--only once has she left her carrier, and she had to be baited with food.  But then again, Mama Kitty spent about 3 years outside living near a bank, so I think that she appreciates being here.

Other than that, I haven't done too much actually.  I have some salad stuff that I'd like to try out a little later on.  But other than that, it'll just be the usual stuff.

Hi everyone.

Today was kinda a long day at work.  It wasn't a bad day, just a lot to do.  

This will mostly be a cat update.  First of all, Marcy left the house Sunday night; she escaped from where the older cats get outside.  However, she returned Tuesday morning and she's stayed in the house ever since, and she'll let people pet her and she'll at least tolerate being held, though you have to catch her by surprise.  She also likes playing with people, too.

Also, Mama kitty got out of her carrier last night on her own, and she let my brother hold her for a couple of minutes.  They were feral cats, but they've both adjusted to being indoors where it's safe and they have access to food.  If they stay around, they can be decent mousers come winter, due to their hunting for food in the past.  And Marcy was probably just curious, went out side and decided that she would rather stay inside.

Hi everyone.

I don't have a ton of stuff on tap for today.  I'll mostly be looking up some stuff, doing a few dishes, and making myself a chicken dinner tonight.  

I do have some big plans for the weekend, though.  Mostly, I'll be getting paid tomorrow, which means grocery shopping, and on Saturday, I have a big outing at the Bird Sanctuary, where I'll try and watch a barn owl perform falconry stuff.  

But outside of that, I don't have too much going on.  I do wish it was warmer and sunnier though.  This feels more like February than April.

Hi everyone

I had a decent day at work today, got some good stuff grocery-wise, and I'm planning for my bird sanctuary visit tomorrow.  Hopefully while I'm there, I'll learn more about where one of my favorite owl's new homes at the sanctuary will be.  Even if he won't be a major part of the show, I hope to at least visit him.

Other than that, I just have the usual stuff planned, though I have an unusual sleep cycle for the next day or two because of the early start that I'll have tomorrow.

Hi everyone.

I had a pretty good day today.  I saw my owls at the bird sanctuary, including getting within a couple of inches of Monty the Barn Owl.  Only negative point is that it was raining, but that didn't really happen until after I got done with about everything, and while it was raining hard, I got to sit under the visitor center overhang with Monty and a Kestrel.

I also had a great chicken tenders meal at Old Bag of Nails and after that, I went home.  So it was a pretty good day.

Other than that, the usual is in the cards for me now.

Hi everyone.

Had a pretty decent day today aside from the fact that it was overcast and cold when the weather reports suggested sunshine and mild temps.  Go figure...

Anyways, I have an outing early in the morning, so I have some stuff that I'd like to finish off before then.  And, hopefully, the weather will be better by then.

Hi everyone.

I had a decent couple of days, and now I'll be having a bit of an Audi binge-athon as far as looking up some stuff online, namely photo galleries as well as info coming out of Spa in Belgium as far as how the sprint spec and Le Mans spec R18s will be performing (more on that in a moment).

Tomorrow will be a perfect day for that, as it's supposed to be cool and rainy.  So not a great day to go outside.  Though, the weather by the weekend should be great.

I had a good day at work today and after work my older brother got to swap cars after the radiator in our Pontiac got fixed.  Needless to say, I'm happy about that.

I have an outing tomorrow to the library and bird sanctuary (yes, I'm obsessed with barn owls).  And for the rest of tonight, I'll be looking up some stuff and maybe doing some gaming soon.

I had my outing today, and I did buy my mom a mother's day present.  In this case, it's a stuffed snowy owl.  

Tonight, I just plan on doing some stuff, including washing some dishes and doing some gaming.  I'll also be trying to make a salad with some fried chicken breast I bought recently.

I didn't have a great day by any means.  I didn't feel good all day, I still don't feel that good, and I have concerns about work and going out on outings.  I've also been having mood and sleep issues.

I'm doing better today, even though today hasn't been particularly productive.  Then again, I'm not working today, and it's been pretty hot and humid where I'm at.

I'll just be doing the usual stuff, and trying to keep cool at the same time and find something to cook later on that won't make me feel like I'm hovering over an inferno.  I'm probably out of luck on that account...

At least when I have my outings next week things will be significantly cooler.  The first is on Tuesday to Mohican, and the second is to the Cleveland Zoo.  I'll be going with some friends on both occasions.

Happy Mother's Day.

I haven't been up to too much over the weekend so far.  I bought my mom a stuffed snowy owl for her present today.

After that, I just have plans to do the "normal" stuff today.  It's been hot an humid here, but at least on Tuesday it'll be sunny and cooler for my visit to Mohican.

Hi everyone.

On Tuesday I went hiking to a waterfall at Mohican near Loudonville.  I actually had fun walking though the woods and looking at stuff, and I'll probably do it again later this year.  The other main thing I did on Tuesday was site seeing though Mohican.

To cap that off, I go up to Cleveland on Saturday to the zoo.  I'm hoping to see the aviary up there and check out the owls that they have.

I had fun at the zoo yesterday, though I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to see any owls. I'll try and make up for that at the bird sanctuary on Tuesday.

I haven't been feeling that well the past couple of days, and I didn't go into work today, either.

I'm feeling a bit better today, just a bit run down because of it being cold and overcast, the opposite of what May usually features.

Today I'm going to try and talk to a friend about an outing we have scheduled next week, and get in touch with a couple more just to talk to later on.  I'll also be making a list for grocery shopping tomorrow, and trying to think of something different to make to eat today/tonight.  I do have some chicken garlic pasta that I'd like to make later on, and a supreme pizza, too.  Just wanna make something a bit different than fried chicken tonight.

Hi everyone.

I haven't been having the greatest of time lately.  I've been having issues/worries about work and I haven't been feeling well lately.  Right now I have a splitting headache and I already know that it's supposed to start raining/storming as early as Sunday afternoon possibly.  And I've been having problems with my shoulder hurting, too.

And it seems that a lot of things are starting to get to me, too.  Work on Friday was annoying because of issues with scanning documents and the machine I had to use.  And some other things are bothering me and irritating me.  I hope that this long weekend will allow me to start to feel better.

Hi everyone.

My weekend has taken a turn for the better.  I'm now in a sort of good mood.  I physically don't feel 100%; I walked outside and you can already feel the humidity building ahead of the weather that's supposed to move in tomorrow afternoon.

But outside of that, I'm better than I have been the past couple of days.

I'm going to take this moment to say that this weekend isn't just about barbecues and being one of the biggest motorsports weekends of the year.  We should remember why we can do those things this weekend and remember the veterans who passed away fighting for freedom, those who are still with us, and those in the armed forces now.  They died, have served, or are serving for us.  Let's live for them and honor their memories.

Happy Memorial Day

Today, I'll be getting my hair cut and, depending on when I go out for it, dodging rain drops possibly.  Same thing for tomorrow when I go out to Amish Country with some friends.

Just spare a thought or two and remember why we're celebrating this day today, and celebrate and remember the lives that were given to ensure freedom and safety here and around the world where we fought.

Hi Everyone.

Yesterday, I spend much of the day in Amish Country.  There's so much to do down there that not only can I probably not list everything, you could probably spend several days there and you'll still miss stuff.  There's tons of food markets there, I also visited a petting zoo and some antique stores.  And there's a restaurant there with an excellent buffet.  That'll be a future trip again for sure.

Work also went well today, and for once I haven't been dealing too much with my shoulder and arm aches.  I still have them, but they seem to be going away now.

I plan on looking up some stuff tonight and getting some rest, because I've had a pretty busy week so far and I have some stuff that I want to catch up on tonight and tomorrow.

It's pretty hot and humid at home right now, and I'm waiting for the cool down that will come Sunday.  Weather will also be good when I go to Port Clinton on Tuesday.

I get money Monday and that'll be a shopping day after work.  Also this weekend is the Le Mans test weekend, held two weeks before the 24 Hour race.  So I'll have a bit to entertain me this weekend.
