Guest Winters Eve Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 OMG! I love Twilight! I think its amazing. Which is your favorite book? Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) Favorite books: Twilight, New Moon, Breaking Dawn. Favorite films: Twilight, NN, BD1&2. Least favorite in both categories, Eclipse, especially the film. Neither was that bad, but not as good as the others. You interested in my fan fic? Because there's plenty more info in couple of other threads along with the previous pages/posts here if you want more info. One is about Twilight vs Guyver characters and the other is about the women of Guyver--those such as Shizu, Natsuki and Mizuki would probably like Twilight. Edited March 17, 2014 by Chernaudi Quote
Guest Winters Eve Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 My favorites were Twilight and Eclipse. I thought they were really good. I like fan fiction. What's your story about? Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 As far as the story goes, there's a lot more in the opening posts of this topic, but it's basically about Twilight characters, Guyver characters and original characters (most of these were originally created for Twilight related fan fic) have to fight an evil force in Forks. As an aside, it should be noted that Shizu and Agito moved to Forks in my story, as did Aptom after he married one of my OCs. However, there's a lot more in the opening posts here (if you feel like reading a novel--that's about the size of my first post here I think) and some stuff in the science/philosophy area, namely Twilight vs Guyver characters and Women in Guyver. I wonder if you have any opinions of Twilight and Guyver being put in the same fan fic? Quote
Guest Winters Eve Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I like stories with romance as a foundation and I think since its your story, you should write what you want. My dad always tells me that most of us live our whole lives without having an adventure to call our own. What is any life without the pursuit of a dream? Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 This story does focus quite a bit on romance, but being Guyver related, there's gonna be some violence (more in an "uncut" version I'll eventually work on), and it's a story that I'm kinda writing for laughs, depending on if you think some of the stuff I mention in earlier post may be funny. Story will mostly be lighter than Guyver or even Twilight. Quote
Guest Winters Eve Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) Omg, is Edward in it? Please tell me, I really love Edward. Edited March 18, 2014 by Winters Eve Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 Yes, all important Twilight and many Guyver characters are in it Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 I've only gotten to chapter 11 of my story, and I don't yet know how long it'll be. I was out of writing it for almost 2 months because of house renovations and being sick and such. I only wrote a page last night because of being tired and ill and worrying about my grandma, who just got home tonight from the hospital. But anyways, I'll try and work more on it tonight. One of the problems right now as well as just being out of practice with working on this stuff is that I just haven't had the focus on this stuff that I had before. Hopefully when the weather improves and things settle down a bit, that'll help. I'm trying to make the story comical, as well as injecting my knowledge of cars and auto racing and World War II stuff. This is actually easier with the established Guyver or Twilight characters or OC's that I'm familiar with. That's actually a bit of a problem with my chapter right now. It's a bit angsty, even with Shizu around (she's got a sense of humor in my story) and as does Elle and Aptom, but I'm having some issues with trying to find my way though the area that I'm in now, because I want to focus a bit on Elle's and Aptom's relationship. Also, I think that some early chapters are going to be a bit boring because some of them lack action, and most are fleshing out why people are "there" in my story and explaining things before the action seriously picks up. So I hope that when I ever get this done and posted that the early chapters won't be too boring. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Hi everyone. I'm going to see about working more on this later tonight after I get something to eat and work on something on a PC game that I have. I hope to get a pretty good chunk of this chapter done over this weekend. So that's what I have planned now. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) Actually, I'm more of a console gamer, but the newest console I have is a PS2. I haven't bought anything newer yet because of money issues. But I do play Postal 2 on steam. Like the Grand Theft Auto series, I know that it's a controversial game (Postal 2 and GTA are often compared to each other for irreverent content and violence), but here's the thing about it. At least the main game (Monday though Friday) it's only as violent and irreverent as the player wants it to be. In Apocalypse Weekend, the player does have to kill, among other things, diseased cows and, especially, zombies. Also, standard Postal 2 is an open sandbox game where you can do as you please as long as you get your objectives done. AW is much more linear in game play. The version I have is Postal 2 Complete, which is a watered down version of Postal 2: A Week in Paradise (AWP) that's avaible on Steam. There's so much wrong with Postal 2 I have to admit. You're not encouraged to go down the "good route" AKA do a pacifist play though and do things for example like Sho would. You're actually more encouraged to vent your displeasure on the whole town (which is a total hell hole to be fair) like Agito would (I even call what the characters do in Guyver the "Postal 2 effect", where they chose what route to go as far as how moral or amoral the character is). Also, the game's jaded dark humor isn't for everyone, it does take a rather big crap on society (namely parodying the negative/annoying aspects of modern life), and the game itself is glitchy as all hell (I can't tell you how many time's it's crashed on me for no really good reason--it's a definite save spam game because of that) and some aspects of the gameplay, even given that Postal 2 is over a decade old, are crap. But the catchy dialogue and humor (if one's in the mood for it) does make it worth while (to me at least), and, like Running With Scissors (Postal 2's developer and publisher) says, inappropriate actions belong in video games and not in real life I hope that this doesn't paint me in a dark light, because I at least try and be a happy person, but with my anxiety and such, it's not easy some of the time. I have to admit that I'm addicted to the Jane Child song "I Don't Wanna Fall In Love". Who wouldn't feel a bit up after hearing that song? Anyways, this "Postal 2 complex" will be explored among some characters in this story. Though my story is mostly intended to be lighthearted, it does ask some questions and I hope that they might get the reader to think, that is if I ever get the damn thing done. Of course, I guess it doesn't help that I'm in a sort of dark part of my chapter right now, but hopefully as pull towards a lighter section, it'll get easier for me to write. Edited March 23, 2014 by Chernaudi Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) I did get a couple of pages finished with my chapter tonight due to having found some time work on it before getting ready to get a fire in our wood stove. That's more progress than I've made with it since last week. And I'm now motivated, moving from a dark section to a lighter section of the chapter, to maybe get it finished tonight or at least soon. Of course, I do have to be fair in saying that the song "I Don't Wanna Fall In Love" and Postal 2 did help inspire some of the stuff that I wrote. But I should be done with this chapter soon and move on to one that's a bit more fun. One of the problems that I'll be having if/when I get this published on a fan fic site is that some of you might think that the first 10 or so chapters will be a bit boring because a lot of them aren't action oriented and sort of are fleshing things out. But then again, I'm trying to sell this to Twilight fan fic fans, most of whom have never heard of Bio-Booster Armor Guyver, and if they have, it was probably from me. So I do have to explain stuff with the characters and such. And over the next chapter or two, some of the stuff with the Guyver units will be explained. But never the less, my current chapter will be finished soon. I might also be posting updates and such (including musings and thoughts about the story) on my blog area in that section here. *Chernaudi Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Small update: I didn't work on fan fic last night, but this morning, while trying to get a fire in the wood stove going and waiting for my brother to get up so I could get ready to go to bed after playing some Postal 2, and I was drinking tea. I got a bug up my ass to watch some clips from Guyver: The Bio-Boosted Armor TV series on Dailymotion (the videos that Funimation and Hulu posted there) and watch some clips of Shizu. I remember where she made some tea for someone and I checked out some clips of her in a couple of the episodes, and I think that I have a direction that I'd like to go with her (I don't know when she'll get another stand alone chapter where she's the main narrator--she's already had two!), but some of my characters are inspired by some of her attributes, so that'll help with some stuff. Tonight won't be a good night for fan fic writing, because I have some stuff I'd like to watch. There's a chance that I'll be working on it, but not a huge one. I also have a big Audi event that I'll be following on Tuesday (2014 Audi R18 reveal at Le Mans and the car's drive from the Place de Jacobins (where tech inspection before the 24 Hours of Le Mans happens) to the grounds of the Circuit de la Sarthe where the race happens. So it might not be until Tuesday night or Wednesday before I really do much more work on it. But at least I have some thoughts and such for future use. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted March 30, 2014 Author Posted March 30, 2014 Hopefully tonight I'll be able to work on this a bit. I've had a kinda busy past couple of days, but tonight should be free. I'll try and finish up my current chapter and get a start on another possibly. I'll be taking a nap later on, then I'll probably work on my fan fic after doing a few things. I just need to figure out who'll be the "star" (AKA, narrator) of my next chapter. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Sorry, I haven't worked on it much. Been a bit busy with some other stuff, and every time I think that I might have a chance to work on it, I'm usually too tired and end up sleeping. That's been the case especially since I started on my anxiety medication. I will try and finish up my current chapter tonight. Then tomorrow night or sometime around then, I'll start on the new one. That's my plan currently. It's just that I've been distracted recently with other stuff and sometimes I just get too tired when I want to work on it. Quote

*Chernaudi Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Sorry, but I don't have a girlfriend. I do sort of talk about that in my latest blog entry. Wish I had one, but I don't. I've been mostly distracted with looking stuff up online, doing some stuff that I've been wanting to catch up on at home, and helping to take care of my grandma. Also, at least when the weather was good, going outside and spending time outside. I'm also getting ready for this weekend with some stuff happening, and that means that I have to get caught up on some stuff that I missed last night. But I do hope to work on this fan fic a bit tonight. Hopefully I can stay awake long enough to do so. One thing that my medication does is that it does seem to make me more prone to drowsiness. But hopefully I can stay up tonight and work on it. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Well, my main OC Camel is married to a young woman named Lia. Also, Shizu is married to Agito (not a stretch lol!), Bella and Edward are married (of course! ), and I can write all day it seems about married couples (bonus, Sho and Mizuki are engaged!). I can't really write from experience, considering that I've never been in a relationship with a woman, but I guess that I can write from the perspective of what I'd want out of one. There will also be PG-13 rated love scenes between some of these couples. You know, to break up the puzzle work chapters, the adventure type chapters, and the open up a can of whoop-ass chapters (one of the latter is coming up soon!). Actually, Lia and Camel in an early chapter got lovey-dovey until Shizu and Mizuki came into their room dazed and fell asleep, which did prompt Camel to do the same. I think that you'll think that Camel is a weird character. Here's a decorated (retired) Army officer, a bit of a car and weapons nut (mostly historical and technological) and like hard rock and metal music (actually, just about anything musically), but he's also a writer, into womanly things (he does women's hair and makeup and such), and he's a bit feminine. He can even transform himself into various male or female forms (sort of like Aptom's ability to mimic zoanoids--Camel can do this with human forms as well). I guess that in some ways he's like me, though he is very different and kinda idealized. But to answer your question, in my story, there's plenty of lucky girls, you can say Quote
Guest snow Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Wow, so just kissing scenes. Nothing hardcore. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 No, but the Guyvers and the Cullen's have enemies that they have to fell. Mostly related to a Volturi plot that got foiled in another story that I sorely need to get back to working on. And it does include zoanoids, and zombies. Basically, Guyvers, Cullens, Jacob and his tribe, and most of my OC's will be against the people in that aforementioned plot. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 There's some magic in my story, but it's because of one of my OC's powers as a vampire hybrid. There's not a ton of really graphic violence in this version, either (I hope to do an "adult" version later on). So not a ton of sensuality and not a ton of blood and gore (think along the lines of the Guyver TV series or the Viz manga, or the manga itself, which isn't really that insanely violent unless you look at it from a fantasy perspective). There'll be kissing, women in lingerie/bikinis, suggestive themes and dialogue, some swearing, and typical shonen violence (another example of this is the Twilight Saga films Eclipse and Breaking Dawn 2). Probably the most racy scenes are some of the love scenes, which have no actual sex, but feature couples making out and sensual touching. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 I'll be trying to work on this later on after I get something to eat and maybe take a nap in a little while. Quote
*Chernaudi Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 The alternate story is just a more adult oriented, graphic, X-rated version of the current story (more violence, profanity, sex, crude humor, etc). Oddly, the current main villain is so reviled because of something he did to one of my female OCs. This dude deserted Melinda (sort of a badass version of Bella Swan, who I named after Bella and Melinda Sordino from Speak) on their wedding day. That, and this guy's just in general obnoxious to women. But that's one of the humor aspects. Shizu tries really hard not to kill him but none the less thrashes him whenever he does something, Agito beats the crap outta him for the hell of it, Sho already sliced him up, Melinda threatened to kill him for trespassing and harassment, Natsuki took him out without raising a finger, and Mizuki even punched his lights out. So this guy's an embarrassment, and it's only going to get worse for him from here. Also, Lia has already killed two zoanoid-like creatures. Basically, the main plot is that you have this Dr. Evil like nitwit who wants to use what he's obtained of Chronos' resources to take over the world (Chronos is essentially out of the picture). But the real power behind him is someone who's going to help bring this wannabe-empire down. That, and, well, they've run into the wrong people to try and pull a stunt like this with. Basically, we have quite a few Darwin Award candidates here. Also, you did help inspire me with what the villain will be like. Take Richard Guyot on crack and Dr. Evil on Viagra and put them in a blender! And then add a very small touch of Hef. Perfect for what Moe Howard from the Three Stooges once described as "deflating comedy". But don't worry, there'll still be quite a few fights, violence, romance, and all of that stuff mixed in, too Quote
Guest snow Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 So, what are your plans with Richard Gyuot anyways? Quote
