unit 0 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Hmm just thinkin if aptom absorbed one of these guys coupled with his cloning ability could be interesting to see how he could adapt it Pimp my quadriga Quote
LordSpleach Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 This could be true, but I fear that they might have the anti-aptom virus. For me, I see a high similarity to the body types of Enzyme IIIs, Libertus, and Unus. I wouldn't be surprised if the Libertus and Unus might incorporate the same defenses for Aptom, cause I'm sure Agito and the Rebel Zoalords have prepared to make sure they don't overpower him. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 why would they though? aptom was barcas' work. the anti aptom virus was his area of expertise. unus were developed by either guyot, kurumagnik or jaervil, who I don't think are on good terms with barcas or have access to his work. it's not impossible, but I don't think it is likely. Salkafar Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Plus: Normal organisms develop acquired immunity. Isn't it about time Aptom, with his insane metabolism, gets past that virus? 1 Quote
LordSpleach Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Well, Aptom has only been exposed about two times, and it only makes sense that the research has been stolen at some point to cover all the angles. Dr. Hekkering could've been apart of the research, and the Rebel Zoalords should've had easy access to the research before they started making their moves. Quote
Larz Zahn Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 If i was chronus, i'd be making the antiaptom virus a standard package from now on... why keep producing zoanoids with a glaring weakness? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 because zoanoids aren't made for the sole reason of fighting aptom. to put it another way, why would you force every soldier in a countries entire army, to carry a tank buster, when the enemy only has one tank and that tank will only be on one battle-field? Salkafar Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 If Aptom does manage to absorb Unus, Chronos will have a real problem. He can clone himself (In fact, it would not surprise me if he has a bunch of 'backups' walking around in the world, just in case)... so if he absorbs Unus... and then replicates himself a bunch of times... and then fuses again... yikes. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 essentially aptom has much of this ability. i mean fusing and separating. what the unus do differently is that they have a way to use this fusion to amplify their abilities. since aptom, upon fusing with another version of himself, can change his form to whatever combination he wishes, his version of quadriga wouldn't necessarily look any different from his base form. what we would be looking at really, is an ability to use fusion to amplify power output. how this was achieved with unus, we don't know. and since aptom can already amplify the abilities of absorbed zoanoids, then perhaps the method in which unus does it, is already present in aptom's repertoire?
