Yes, it's American Football. The Superbowl is the final championship game for it, and the biggest sporting event for us in the USA. A lot of parties always goes on that night. Me and my roommates had a party at our place, and we were happy because our team won it.

Yeah, the Superbowl is Football (not Soccer; Football is a hell of a lot ruffer).  The only other event that I can think that rivals the Superbowl is the Olympics.

I was secretly cheering for the Ravens too.  Don't tell anyone XD

Unfortunately, in the UK, American Football is looked upon with derision because people say they are basically playing rugby but they wear armour because they are afraid of getting hurt.

Well I am sure those guys would be excellent Rugby players if they chose to give it a go.

English Football is pretty pathetic though, I watch them running about and one guy might catch the other one on the leg a little bit and he'll roll on the ground crying. can't stand it, even though it is the most popular sport here.

Rugby is the only team sport I will watch because it holds the essence of the Welsh man.

Oh no, we're not afraid of getting hurt.  We wear the armor because of how serious the injuries can get in a Football game.  Last I remember, it was said that Football players tend to get more injuries than any other sport for men.

Yeah, soccer's not very popular here in the states too.  I guess we Americans perfer to see the players tackle the hell out of each other.

I have begun to notice that people tend to listen to me a lot for whatever reason, from advice to information for school work and whatnot.

Kinda gets annoying actually.  I'm not a wiseman (or wisewoman, whatever the politically correct term is)!  Why listen to a blonde ditz that is among the crazy art majors and nerds? I'm not a philosophy or humanities student that can probably give better advice than I can.

You have a wisdom they do not.

You now how to value the people you talk to and that is why they value your opinion.

They trust you. That is a special thing.

Another thing to think about is that... when people ask for advice, what they are actually asking for is a different perspective to help them make up their own mind. don't worry about the advice you give to people. s log as you are honest that is exactly what people need. :)

I guess so.

On with a new drabbly post:

I have discovered that watching movies on the new Ipod nano takes a lot of energy; I was able to watch The Sword in the Stone three times before it died on me.  Then again, sound volume for movies on it aren't all that great either, so that might have contributed to it.

Never again shall I buy yarn from WalMart   All the yarn I've bought from there has been absolute crap!  I swear, they bloody stock up on the "discounted" stuff knowing it's faulty products!  Screw you WalMart!  I'm buying my craft stuff elsewhere!

I just sold my first product on Etsy yesterday!

I forgot to mention that I now have a little shop on Etsy.com where I'm selling knitted stuff :sweatdrop:  Fantastic site if you love the eccentric handmade stuff that people come up with.  Anywho, I sold a pair of yoga socks after a customer messaged me asksing if they'd fit a size 7 foot.  I told her they do and bam! they were sold.

I was happy for the majority of the day until I got to German class and remembered that I forgot to do the homework ^^;  Then my I was cussing myself out.

wow, it's awesome to sell something that you enjoyed making!

I still haven't completed my first bit of weaving. I made good progress on it at the airport, but it's still not half done.

I'm happy to say that I'll be teaching a beginner's knitting class at the local Hobby Lobby for the summer :D I'll be teaching on Thursdays starting in June; I'm so excited!

By the way, I've just started up my summer line in my shop of Etsy and am now taking orders world wide. Hopefully I'll make some more sales now that it is summer time *crossing fingers* I don't think I provided a link for others to look at my shop, have I?

Thanks, Ryuki!

Make sure to check out the rest of Etsy when you get the chance.  I tend to find a lot of cool stuff on there every day, and even some gift ideas too.

I'm planning on adding Rastafarian hats to my inventory once I finish some.  They're starting to gain some popularity lately I noticed.

Hey guys!  I don't think I've mentioned this before, but I got a summer internship for a new American manga company that's just starting to work on their first story.  They're called Rock Steady, and their story is also called Rock Steady.  My job right now is to get the word out about the project and help build an audience for Rock Steady, and also help them find a manga artist that is willing to work for free (time will be compensated though).

I have read part of the story thus far, and IMO I think it's got potential to be a good manga.

Read our One Shot

Feel free to ask questions about Rock Steady this is an open interview just know we will not be answering spoilers.

Follow us on twitter to keep tabs on new & exciting information about Rock Steady your welcome to join us as we prepare to lead you on an extraordinary venture twitter.com/ProjectSteady

We at Rock Steady hope to establish a partnership with an expert manga artist who is able to draw panel art . The hiree will recieve compensation for their work as well as a sample description of what we expect after review we will make our decision. Once the artist is chosen there will be collaboration agreement.

P.S.: I didn't know if it was okay to post this in a separate thread, so I just posted it as a blog entry ^^;

you should probably make a thread for it. I am sure some guys will find it interesting.

good job on that, it's great to be involved in things.

I recently stepped out on something I have been heavily involved with for months. I really need to focus on my own stuff now but the work I did will definitely get me recognition.

Done.  It's in the General 'whatever' section :)

I'm lucky to be working with theses guys; this'll help out once I start looking for a job with manga companies or something similar.
