Ok so I got to read the new "superior" Spider-Man issue number 1 and it was a pretty good start and to be honest it got me interested on wanting to know what happens next which is what a first issue comic should do, lets hope this gets better. 9/10

Peter Parker is still around in phantom form, interfering when he has to if Octavius threatens to go too far. It's just a matter of time before he steps in again.

Yea, Slott probably wanted to cool down the stupid rage that some Spidey fans have, like I said before, I don't mind him being replaced just as long as they don't try to force MJ having a relationship with him, it is just wrong. The Idea of a villain trying to fill in the shoes of the hero and keep his legacy is cool so lets see how it turns out.

has anybody been following the new 52 batman? specially the new event called death in the family? The new 52 Joker does not seem like the Joker at all, he seems more like batman if was cooco for Cocoa Puffs, seriously, nobody can touch him, one thing is being Unpredictable and Another is being so OP that not even Batman, his Family and the teen titans can do anything against you.....oh well, I hope this death in the family event is finished already, this is why I prefer Superman a bit more.

Last time Death in the family happened, Jason Todd supposedly died.  Funny thing too, because it was the fans who decided to let Jason Todd die and the writers chose to ignore this decision after decades.  Maybe another robin is gonna die here?

I don't know but all that has happened so far leads me to believe that Alfred is the one who will die although that could be a red herring by the writers, but if it happens I'm very sure Batman wont be the same again, the guy is practically his second father.

My experience with the New 52 is that they tend to drag stories on for way too long.

Take Swamp Thing and Animal Man.

It's basically all one story from the start since the reboot! That can't be right.

Aquaman: This new, cool A-Man is fine, but the stories-are-too-long.

Wonder Woman. Month after month after month of the same long story. (But at least now, things are starting to get interesting with the return of the New Gods proper.)

Batman, too. The Court of Owls was a pretty good idea, but it went on and on and on, and now with Death of the Family it's the same thing.

Even apart from this entirely ridiculous new version of the Joker.

Superman is fine, but Justice League - I don't even know that there is a story going on at the moment.

 

What is desperately needed here is a Crisis Event to clear away the dead wood. What's the Anti-Monitor doing these days?

No Idea, I don't follow green lantern, only the animated series which is awesome, ironically I can't get the motivation to follow any of the green lantern titles. you are right about the Superman comics, they are fine, great in fact, they are currently in an event but the pacing is a lot more better than death in the family. I stopped reading justice league, nothing has happened after they faced Darkside it is all just shock value stuff like the kiss of Wondy and Supes which feels like something right out of a fan fiction, the only stories that have been able to get me hooked since issue one have been Superman, Aquaman, Daredevil, Venom and Scarlet Spider, "Superior" spider-man looks promising I have not gotten over of what happened in Uncanny Avengers , Avengers took a sudden stop, for some reason on New Avengers they decided to focus on the Illuminati when it is not even their book and secret avengers has slowed down a bit (yea, I read a lot XD ).

The Batman Death in the family event finally ended today and to be frank I feel indifferent by it, nothing was really answered aside from the obvious and there where no real consequences at the end aside from trust issues, overall it was a decent event but nothing groundbreaking I give it a 3/5.

So.... nobody actually died? 

 

Anyway, with regards to DC, I normally prefer their titles with obscure lead characters.  Just like how I enjoyed the first 52 (not the new 52 mind you), where the trinity was not even present.  That thing with Sue Dibny was classic.

yea, nobody important died which could in a way may have improved the story but they just played it safe. I now what 52 you are talking about, I heard a lot of good things about it specially about it developing the minor characters a lot, heard about it through linkara's review of the stupid countdown to infinite crisis event, or was it final crisis? I can't remember.
