*Jess♥ Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Well I was talking about Hayter's more mainstream(in the videogaming community) popularity. But that true too. You know Snake's voice does pop up once in Dark Hero. he he, yeah. oh sorry to continue this offtopicness but i thought i heard agito today. steve blum. in assassins creed. Quote
Mirabilis Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Well, tomorrow i'll be going to the con with two bros. Ill be going as bikeraptom...well sorta. You guys want me to take some pics? Quote
*BananaKing Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 You gotta get the huge facial scar! Aptom isn't complete without it! Quote
*Jess♥ Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 i'm sure that would be pretty easy to do with some liquid latex. Quote
*BananaKing Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Or even go to some place like party city and just get a big fake burn scar that you could put on your face and blend in with make-up Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Maybe we could start a cosplay thread for all our Guyver-related costume pictures. I look forward to seeing you in your Aptom costume, Mirabilis. Quote
Mirabilis Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 Cool sweet! Its all home made though, i didnt have the money or the tools to get a all fansy-mansy costume. But it should look pretty gfood being made completely out of house hold items. I'll post the pics when i get the first chance to. Quote
*BananaKing Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Well you could always just burn your own face! Wait...that was a little wrong Quote
Mirabilis Posted September 9, 2009 Author Posted September 9, 2009 Well my friend took the pics so whenever she can give them to me i'll post them all. As you all know i havent been on nearly as much as i used to, unfornately i havent been getting the time to be able to get on here as much. So once again the great mirabilis will try to pop in every once and a while but most likely wont be on as much i used to be until maybe next may or so. Quote
*BananaKing Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 No rush my good buddy, get them to us when you can Quote

Mirabilis Posted May 30, 2010 Author Posted May 30, 2010 Well quite alot has happened since my last post in here. I got really into Bleach, I really enjoy it now. I got the entire Yu Yu Hakusho anime series, and the Bleach Box sets. I'm looking forward to getting Slayer, and the rest of Claymore and Heat Guy J. I havent been on alot, due to my folks inter bill, the library around here wont let you use their inter without paying, and I've been working alot on my graduation stuff. I havent been getting home until 8 at night or so normly. I'd eek in here or there, but I didnt really have a whole alot of time to just sit down and make posts and read posts. I still wont be able to until about a week, thats when i'm out of school again. I plan on getting a summer job, and hiring a manga artist, I have almost finished one of my stories, and I want to try and get it drawn as a manga. The school year itself was pretty boring, and I was kind of disappointed in my high school career, I just expected more out of it. And can you believe it? Already twelve years by like that! I still remember my first dat in Kindergarden! My band pretty much ditched me, and left. but thats ok, they werent really great guys themselves. Well this about raps it up for me, I plan on spending more time in the Wiki section in a week or two, I need to study for my Math Exam so I can graduate. Quote
*BananaKing Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Good to see that you'll get a break. If it makes you feel better, I've been SUPER busy with work in my Maya Model Creation class. I'm glad to see you're trying to bring one of your stories to life. Good luck dude Quote
Mirabilis Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 Ah, well thank you BK! I appreciate it. Honestly I dont know what they usually charge, but I am want to try and get started around July or August (talk to a srawer that is) and maybe agree on a price or something. I dont know anything about the publications, but I know that I do want two of my stories to be drawn as manga, the rest I want to write as novels. I am not so sure if the amiercan manga's are even published by VIZ or Funi or whatever, but isnt Ninja High School an american published manga? How are things going for you now King? Any luck in you desire to create animes? Quote
Mirabilis Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 Well things in Texas havent been working out for me, these last three to five months. I feel as if I've lost all sense of time. I feel as if I've lost time in doing work, and I am ashamed that I havent been contributing to the site, or been on as much as I used to be. I havent had much luck in finding an artist, and things don't really look so promising down here, so I'm going back up north. But to where is the question hehe. Any guess's on where Mirabilis will be making his new base of operations at now? Quote
*BananaKing Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I'd love to say Florida to hang out with the King, but my real guess is MA? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 chicago!! chicago is cool. and so is new york. and san francisco. and boston. nah, i don't know anything about these places to be honest. just check out some sites to find the type of job you wanna do and see where there are more opportunities for that type of work. Quote
Mirabilis Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 Well there are numerous probems with where I live at atm. Like I've said, I literlly live in the middle of no where. In the dessert, so its been very troublesome for me to be able to get into contact with anyone of interest. so far, it looks like I'll be going into the Air Force. Then go to college while in the Air Force to get my Filming degree. After I retire i can start doing what I really want to do. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 if you're interested in filming... it might be an idea to consider vancouver. although i'm not sure what sort of passport and visa you might need for that. Quote
*BananaKing Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I think I know where Ryuki is talking about, I almost went there for my animation degree. You're referring to that big media arts school in Vancouver right? If it wasn't for the cold, I'd be there XD I'd guess you'd need a passport but I don't know enough about foreign traveling to say anything about the Visa. My brother goes to Canada all the time since he lives close by and all he needs is his passport, but then again he doesn't live there. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 i've not heard anything about that school, but i do know that there are a fair few high profile tv shows that are filmed there. i believe it is a bit like hollywood or something. Quote
*BananaKing Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Yeah its supposed to be a big film and media arts school. Yeah have a look Quote
Mirabilis Posted September 15, 2010 Author Posted September 15, 2010 thats cool. Theres actually two that i am very interested in. That would be UCLA and...well now I can't remember what its called right now. But basically its a art school in alabama, that only majors in arts. They dont except people unless they major in one form of art music, drawing, animation, filming, writing, producing etc. And apparanetly, I was very lucky to have recieved an invitation. I was told they dont send out fliars like alot of colleges do, but they seek out people who are interested in majoring in a form of art. I was also told, that they have their students (for filming) use the studio for shows like Law and Order and such. So the students get to see what its like first hand, while a show is being done.
