*Kenji Murakami Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 It was a sandwich from Togos, one of those foot-long hogies with turkey, lettuce and tomato. P: I had two of them, but they were pre-cut down the middle so I got four meals out of them. And let me tell you, even half of a sandwich that size is a fairly good meal. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 sounds similar to subway. subway can be really nice Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 I've tried Subway subs over here; I like Togos better. Quote

*Kenji Murakami Posted December 21, 2008 Author Posted December 21, 2008 Tangenitally related to the subject of sandwiches, I was thinking of sending you some home made bread for Christman, but I worried about it getting moldy in the mail. Would you settle for a nice card? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 ha ha, kenji i would be overjoyed if you sent me anything at all Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 Cool. I just thought of that because it's kind of a tradition among my family to bake things like cookies, bread, and to make chocolates at this time of year. I knew you'd like the bread more than the cookies or the chocolate. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 Yeah; I enjoy the mixing, and my mom enjoys the baking, so it works out very well. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 Well, my holiday season was rather wonderful, and I got a lot of nice presents out of the deal. I also gave some good ones out, if the reactions of my mom and sister were anything to go by. Quote
Mirabilis Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 What did you get? and what did you give away? ? Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 I bought my sister a Calvin and Hobbes collection, which she loved. And I bought my mom a shaver, and some tealight candles. Those smelled really good. Quote
