Weltall2 Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 White Knight Chronicles: In this Rpg you transform into a massive Knight with magic powers woooo. You can also (though I still don't have much clarification,) create a town in the campaign. This town will be availible in online play. Yes not only a single player or multiplayer, it combines both. This game has been well recieved in Japan, and it will hit U.S. Shelves Feb. 2nd, 2010. Star Ocean The Last Hope: This Already hit the 360. Now the PS3 owners like myself have a chance to play the international edition. This hit's the U.S. Shelves in Feb 9th, 2010. Final Fantasy 13: This has been a highly anticipated title. I have seen a few clips of the story and gameplay, and I think it will be a worthwhile buy. U.S. release date March 2010 Note: The PS3 is region free for those who are unaware, this means even if something is released in another country the disc will play in any ps3 no matter the country. So my U.K. and english speaking friends from overseas you can still import these games if you can't wait for an E.U. or AUS version to release. Quote
Juggernought Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Those do look interesting even though i'm not a huge rpg fan...i much prefer either the 1st person shooter or the 3rd person hack n slash action. Quote

While it was supposed to be a PS3 launch game, the changes they made to make it online kind of dsiturb me a bit too much. The simple fact you have an "Avatar" character to play as, rather than someone actually involved in the story. But I love the armored knights designs, so I'll probably wait until after I read some of the reviews. Besides, I'll probably still be busy with Mass Effect 2 on my 360 ( damn release dates being so close!) Star Ocean I've not bothered with on the 360, and as my console of choice, I'll probably not get the PS3 version either. And as for Final Fantasy 13? I'm not impressed... But then I haven't been impressed by the last 2 or 3 non-MMO Final Fantasy's, so I will be skipping it. However, I am eagerly anticipating more info on FF14... Quote

ki805 Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Am I the only one who thinks there is too much a glut of Final Fantasy titles out there? Sure they're good games, but I wouldn't mind seeing another Parasite Eve title soon... Quote

Weltall2 Posted April 6, 2010 Author Posted April 6, 2010 I have grown increasingly disillusioned with FPS. Between the cheating bull**** and the invasion of the X-bot 12 year old morons. My tollerace and patience is at the breaking point. I realize some might take my comment to reflect all X-box gamers, let me assure you it doesn't however, since Microsoft has banned the IP adresses of many players they caught hacking and cheating inother ways on X-Box live. There has been an Exodus of sorts infecting the PSN, and I have really had enough of Sony not enforcing it's own damn policies on this matter. I do like Hack n Slash. DMC4 was a lot of fun and there are a few others I like too. I await another Onimusha with great anticipation. I also hope for a new Ace Combat to roll out on PS3 soon. Incidentlly a new Ace Combat is coming to the PSP in about 3 months that is the US release by the way. Quote

This is exactly why my friends list is so small. =P I only play with my friends, because of the very fact of the online experience stereotype... I have lived it, and I shall never again subject my ears to that kind of crap. I may not play online that much, or get the coveted achievements... But if I can co-op play a game with a friend(s), it all makes up for it. Hell, the Halo series, Gears of War 1 and 2, Crackdown ( #2 coming soon! Wooo!), all very good games overall... But made only more awesome by Co-Oping with a pal or two ( or three =P) Having a friend HELP you is so much more rewarding them them trying to blow your ass up. I just hope finding a party in FF 14 won't be so frustrating... Quote
