Kamui de' Tempest Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I remember reading the fanfic about how the warrior guyvers had gotten remarkabley coordinated in the attacks against the Elimehator (i think) and then got uncoordinated after telepathic communications got disrupted. Is this going to be touched on later on in either df format or in the fan fic? Quote
Shenzon Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I hope so, that is a nice tactical feature included in the Warrior Unit. Be nice to see them take advantage of it like a single fighting unit. Quote
Lost Soul Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 Well, actually the Warrior-Units (including type-2s from WG2´s universe and "modern" Creatorbuilt units like WG4 and Warrior Acear) are able to interlink and form a "Combat Collective", meaning they act more efficient in battle together, but when the Eliminator showed up this link was broken, due to his blocking abillities, so they had to act on their own, and only Jason and Fiona were able to break the blocking due to their close link and only in close proximity. Sully Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 You guys are pretty much correct. Though it's something I will be using more in later fictions and getting into more detail. Quote
Kamui de' Tempest Posted May 9, 2007 Author Posted May 9, 2007 That's what I was wondering, if it would be something further discussed in the future in the fan fic and explained in applicable DF's. Quote
McAvoy Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Interesting. I wonder if Warrior Kavzars have this feature. Quote
Shenzon Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Interesting. I wonder if Warrior Kavzars have this feature. Good question. They are based on Warrior Technology. It would seem so cause everytime theirs more than one, they always seem to fight as a single mind. Quote
Sully Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Interesting. I wonder if Warrior Kavzars have this feature. Yes Quote
