*zeo Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Hmm, those do appear to be very interesting sci-fi stories. I've read many similar stories though most of their titles escape me. Let's see there was the about 14 book series of "The Ship Who Sang" Most of Isaac Asimov's books were pretty good. Stephen King's seven-volume Dark Tower series was interesting. I hear the The Wheel of Time series is worth a read. Neuromancer, is an okay classic. Can't remember anymore at the moment. . . Quote
largo Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Good sifi books huh... well The Robotech and Battletech books rule, but to get both you have to go used, but you can get the newest battletech books though there called mechwarrior. And if your willing to do a little work I would seriously recommend Micheal A. Stackpole's Blood of Kernskey(sp?) trilogy sorry for the not so sure spelling but I'm at my sisters place watching her kid so I just can't look at the book its self. Quote

thanosfan82586 Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 I just started reading Neal Stepheson's Snow Crash, and I have to say that Raven is one of the craziest villains in any book I've read in a while. He took out the crew of a Russian nuke sub with a sharpened piece of plate glass! I definitely recommend this book. Quote
W'Kar Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, and the rest of the series. Award winning series. I've personally read it and loved it. Quote
