Aliens vs. Predator <SPOILERS!>

Featured Replies

Has anyone seen this yet? :? I saw a later showing in the day since I had to work from 6 AM - 3 PM, but this movie was quite good. It's not perfect but it had some awesome fight scenes like the first predator and alien duking it out. (kinda made me dizzy though, camera movement was too fast  ).

Some scenes which the crowd cheered for:

*The third surviving Predator killing a face hugger in mid-air and an alien afterward with a new weapon.

*THe predator and human teaming up

*The Predator jumping behind the queen, swinging and stabbing her in the neck with his staff

That's about it. Anyway, go and watch the movie, it's good stuff. :D

Okay the Action is good but what about the story? Are there any other redeeming qualities in this movie other than action and special effects? Such as character development, plot, and backround.

Nope.

'nuff said.

I just got back from seeing AVP. It was a neat movie, it's also going to go into my DVD collection.

I loved the shoulder weapon and that boomerang thing, brutal!

Armageddon.

The movie was alright. What pisses me off is none of the three predators survived. if only they had had their shoulder cannons. Why did the humans have to mess stuff up. I'm joking. But the predators were literally defenseless without them; the aliens' blood melted right through their weapons. I have to say aliens always get the last kill.

Okay so this whole movie is an 1 hr and 45 min. of fighting. Aw hell what am I saying I will probably see it anyway. Probably see it in a matinee.

I believe that those three peices were just to one gun, cause if you remember, they managed to get two of the peices back earlier than the last one.

Each one of those artifacts was a shoulder cannon for each of the three predators that entered the temple. The other two predators were killed before they could get theirs from the humans. The last one that allied with that women saw she had one, so when they got together she just gave it to him.

Ok, Marie, Isaac and I just went to see this last night. And without reading the comic, I was impressed. I meen, it perfectly merged both movie series (maybe except Aliens 4). I meen, the Preditor Ship at the end looked almost exactly like the Alien ship in the begining of Aliens (So I guess we know what happens to them).

But man, watching this movie really warped my mind. Not the movie itself, but Marie. She hasn't seen any movie of either series, so this was her first. Isaac and I explained a few things to her (not that it was needed). She came to heckle, and found it much better than Riddick.

She has decided to do Preditor FanFiction. Her first words after seeing this movie, "Preditor Babies!!!!!" Yep, that's right. She wants to write a slash pairing for the Preditor and the last human survivor. Walking out to the car just warped our minds even more.

That is indeed very mind warping! Predator Babies, what next? PredAlien babies, perhaps? Scary Thought.

I too saw AvP with a friend that hadn't seen either of the movies. But he doesn't like horror. So I won't be able to get him to watch the alien movies. >_

This was one of the few movies I didn't go see for a plot. I just wanted to see the Aliens and the Predators duke it out. And, needless to say, I was very pleased with that ^_^

I was on the Xeno's side. Without their long-range weapons, the Predators had nothin' on them.
