Guest Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 Both DVD covers have the same pics as their VHS counterparts. (At least the ones I have anyway!) Thus, the same picture of Mark Hamil as the Guyver appeared on the cover of the original box of the taped version. IMHO New Line isn't trying to recreate the wheel here, they are just running with what they already got. Quote
Guest Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Wait, wait now, hold up! Are these region 1 or 2? Or maybe both? Quote
guyverfanatic Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Wait, wait now, hold up! Are these region 1 or 2? Or maybe both? Both movies are from New Line Entertainment. So they are R1. The only Guyver movie on R2 (UK) is the second movie. Quote
xtro guyver Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 The UK release of dark hero is missing a few scenes from the film hence why I'll be picking up both guyver films when there out in the US. Quote

Relly for UK fans both movie releases are worth getting as they have missing things we've not seen. For example the start of Guyver explains a little bit about the Zoalord missing on the normal tape edition. This could be in the directors cut. Quote
Armageddon Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I was just browsing my DVD club and noticed that they now have the Guyver DVD's up for preorder. That's not big news as most of us have known the sites like Amazon.com was offering preorders WAY before. The news that i've seen is the the release date is not August 17th as previously stated before, but July 27th 2004! Is this true or a missprint? Armageddon. Quote
Guest Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I know this is joyous news to ALL GUYVER fans. Hell I even asked Steven Wang if he had any power to put these 2 movies on dvd, he said no he doesnt but it would take time. ALL GOOD THINGS TO THOSE WHO WAIT ! lol and it looks like it paided off. Now all us Guyver fans need is Guyver: Out of Control to come out on dvd and that will be the whole collection of Guyver movies unless they come out with a 3rd one some time soon. *thinks* does anyone know brian singers email address ? lol. But dont hold your breath for a third Guyver movie. I am however greatful that the first 2 movies that sparked my interest in the Guyver are coming out. Quote
