Guest lightspeed Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 i remember the death of the ancient in ronin warriors being pretty sad to me, especially when ryo is contemplating what to do afterwards right before he activates the white armor. Quote
Renegade Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 (edited) I thought the original ancient's death was just plain inevitable. It was the death of the guy that replaced him, what's his name, that really got to me. He had so much character development, and he just gave his life for the mind-controlled whore! KING GHIDORAH Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 (edited) Guyver 12 part OVA rendition, I more of a villain guy then a hero man, but I felt sad the entire enzyme vs Guyver 1 fight for both hero and villain, then I cried after Sho got his control metal rip while Enzyme lol. I was around 9 or 11 If I remember Correctly when I saw that, and no other Anime cartoon has came close to making me feel that way. Japan legends members well come to KING GHIDORAH's circle of trust, the only people who know that about me are my family members. Edited November 30, 2008 by KING GHIDORAH Quote
Renegade Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Touhoufuhai Master Asia's and Kyoji's deaths in G Gundam were really sad. "The East is burning red!" Quote

Archangel Ashes Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 I'd have to say Kamina's death in Gurren Lagann was one of the saddest for me. He was so awesome and epic, I didn't really see his death coming. I loved it how in like the 2nd to last ep he came back and pretty much gave Simon and Yoko a pep talk to make them epic. Nia's death was also kinda sad. I was just like Simon can't win.... I don't know if anyone remembers Outlaw Star but Hot Ice Hilda's death was kind of touching because she was so awesome. In the Kikaider OVA/Movie the death of Kikaider's 2 brother was sad because Kikaider had to destroy them. Quote

You don't know Hilda enough to give a crap about her, she died on the second episode! Pretty much everything about Android Kikaider is sad. Edited January 16, 2009 by Renegade Quote
Archangel Ashes Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 I said kind of. Hilda was still badass. Who doesn't love a badass character? You still hate to see them leave. Quote
Archangel Ashes Posted May 31, 2009 Author Posted May 31, 2009 I'm gonna have to go with The Merry Go (the ship from One Piece) That had manly tears written all over it. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I thought the original ancient's death was just plain inevitable. It was the death of the guy that replaced him, what's his name, that really got to me. He had so much character development, and he just gave his life for the mind-controlled whore! In the English versio he was called Anubis while in the original Japanese version (Samurai Troopers) his name was Shiten. I didn't think Lady Kayura was a mind controlled whore. More like she is the last of the original Ancients clan and when she lost everyone, Talpa (Argou) took advantage of her and hypnotized her. I did like how she could easily kick every Ronin's and Warlord's ass single handidly except for Anubis and Ryo (when he was in his white armor). I was always wondering if she would fall for Rowen (Touma) or Ryo. Another sad death for the Ronin Warrior series was that of White Blaze, Ryo's white tiger, who was then revived by Black Blaze who had infused his soul with WB's. 2 more series. I was real sad when Saber (Tekkaman Evil) from the Tekkaman Blade series died once D-Boy defeated him. He was an evil character but by force of Radam and he was such a cool character that gave D-Boy drive besides Star (Aki). The other series is Inuyasha where Kagura is killed. Not many people I know liked her but I loved her character. Especially when her death drove Sesshomaru to want to kill Naraku even more in a silent way. Quote
Mirabilis Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I was sad when Triez died. When he deliberatly ran into Wufie's Trident. I couldnt belive it! I am sure there are more but i really cant think of them now. Quote
Mirabilis Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Though I only saw about 12 episodes I was completely caught off gaurd and said when Lelouch died in Code Geass When I first saw Code Geass for the first time I thought it was some sort of Gundam show, so I was like what the hell. But it is still a very cool show to watch, it deals with alot of politics. Quote
Guest Mystica_Caticus Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 All I am going to say is the end 0f code geass r2. Quote
Archangel Ashes Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 R2's end was expected. I didn't think Lelouch's death was as sad as it was exciting and expected. Quote
Renegade Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Lelouch kinda has to die painfully in my mind. Look at the he-bitch! Quote
H222G981 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) Saddest death in an anime? There were a lot of them in Rahxephon. I was pretty sad to see Hiroko Asahina die. Ayato Kamina deeply loved her, and was forced to kill her. Sort of fooled into killing her, if any of you know the anime. But she really was one of the sweetest characters in the show.
