looks like the "reactivation" scene takes place in the cave this time, instead just outside it. I wonder if we'll get to see some schoolgirl nudity? somehow i doubt it for a 7pm airing time. I reckon we'll end with a cliff hanger, the writer spending more time justifying Sho's need for the guyver before we get the fight with Aptom II. Then again, we can always hope As for the pacing, it has been a little out of whack in comparison to the manga. Then again everything that has been needed to be said, has been said. However i do beleive the studio is trying to go for a end of volume 8 plot point for the end of the 26 episode. Nice way to cap it off i think.

which means I saw it in a theater! As far as I know they never released a fully uncut version to video. I haven't seen the DVD release yet so I don't know if this has changed yet. Though I hear the laser disc, I'm talking about the record player sized discs that no one uses anymore, version had everything including extras. I've been meaning to pick up those laser discs, apparantly the japanese versions contai na lot more material than the american versions... something to add to my wish list...

I had seen ads for the series in a a comic book and thought the series looked really strange, then Dark hero came on sci-fi. only cought the end but i watched the next showifg and was blown away by its unique story of a lone, tortured desperate hero. Series was shown on sci-fi a year or so later, i caufght the last 4 eps and thoguth that the censored cut they showed was great, a friend lent me his Data 1-4 tapes and fopr my 12th birthday i bought the entire series bar opne tapoe which weas in my posession by the next month. Its a up and down begging but a beginning none the less. Now i collect any guyver junk.

I have in my possession a recording of Guyver Dark Hero that is different to the US and UK cut of the film (both of which i own). A friend recorded this off the UK scifi channel a few years ago and i watched it out of bordem. At that time i only had a copy of the UK cut and I noticed that it had around 10 minutes extra of footage I orignally beleived it to bne the american cut of the film. I imeedatly copied the tape and after a few months later I ordered the US cut off amazon. After watching thwe american cut, it seemed like i have a version not sold in the UK OR US. Its basically got most of the secenes from,the US cut that aren't in the UK cut.A strange sort of hybrid. So i would like to know what region this version is from so i can see if i can track down a legit copy to add to the collection. Any help would be appreichated. To help i listed a few differences in the cutting of the film. 1. Although this version has scenes not in the UK version, some scenes were left out as well. Namely the scene whjere sean leaps off the cliff and transforms. Instead it simply just cuts to the guyver running up the lake and completely removing the scene. 2. River fight is entended from uk version, wit hscens fro mthe US cut. Same for the female zoanoid/atkins fight. 3. Nightmare scene is included. Where as it isn't the UK versioin (shame really) 4. Copry/seanm kiss is included, yet isn't in the UK version. 5. The drug lord bleeds longer than in the UK version. 6. I'm pretty sure a zoanoiud fight was pretty much cut right down. To where you just see the klilling blow. (uncnfirmed) 7. Doesn't include cory talking about to her friend, and she indicated hes a little "unhinged". 8. Includes the really cool guyver running the alien relic POV shot before the zoanoid goes flying out of the entrance. This scene is not included in the british version. Thoes that first comes to mind when i try and recall about it there are a few odd couple of second shots that were not in the UK version but were in the US version that i may have missed.

just a question... why edit cussing, if the anime which the person would have to bew interested in to have the mind to come to this board is a 15/R rated, whcih means they are adults and have seen cussing in the anime or manga. So children wouldn't be coming to these boards, so why the necjkhgold ona few unsavoury words fro ma traditional dictionary?

As a side note, the above scen was cut from the UK version of the Guyver: Dark Hero film. Also i could have sworn Mizky's father was called Tetsu, not Tersuro. Might be wrong, but i'd have to check the tapes again to be sure...

Looks like only the arms are poseable and it can't stand on its own balance. If you a Die hard collector i'd go for it, as it is probably a custom made one of a kind. I'd persoanlly go for the Max Factory Guyver III myself.

That'd be Aptom 4. Hyper Zoanoid Team 5 would be a great set of figures to buy. Not sure how they would articulate Elegen's neck though... Probably with a ball point, right at the base, thats the simple way, or you could go for they use for the arms on the LMHG Evangelion kits and have a complex high flexabily ball joint covered in latex rubber. It works really wel and would look absolutely fantastic (NO SEEMS!!!) Amen to the Hyper Zoanoid Team, the ZX-Tole Figure would be excellent in detail, unfolding wings, opening blaster covers, a full open mode would look excellent on any shelf. Personally i'd like to see a Guyver I, so you hae both Guyvers. Gigantus is a must in the future too.

I had heard froma translation site that the the word we know "Zoanoid" is an incorrect translation and that the lkiteral translation is "Beast Soldier". I've only read this from a translators notes and he only translated the first 2 graphic novels though and i've since lost the notes. Also maybe Black Seed Knight is another way of saying Dark Progeny Warrior. If you shift the translation a little biut, (like most offical translation companies) you can come up with something a little more pallatble.

Tiem to boost up chris guyvers ego and to tell the general masses. This kit is a max factory original cast, pre painted and sealed. It als is a first run kit so it comes with its rare colectors cards included, Box look like its in C9+ condition and comes with instruxctions and Original box. Hifgh price for high qualitity. But i have yet to even SEE a Guyver III model kit for a decent price that wasn't a recast., He sells a helluvca lot more than the other Guyvers... I was standing in a sanime store a few years ago, when sdomeone was checkign out the guyver model re-casts and called his friend over, they seemd like casual fans looking to buy a kit, and they would only buy a Guyver III, i was quite happy with my Guyver I. But i'm not like most. I've yet to find a Dark Guyver ona shelf, i'm, only ever seem them online.

Anyone have one they are willing to part will, i will pay a handsome price for it and am willing to negiotate. Also if one has Bootlegged (Copied) or has MP3's I am also interested, But PM on this subject as i am not willing to break board rules (AGAIN) over it (However stupid i may think it is).

Statistically the majority of PS1 owners also own a copy of Final Fantasy VII, it was the greatest selller at the time of release and in japan around a third of people who bought it on the day alkso bought a Playstation. A remake is not needed, and if it was made Sakaguchci would not be involved. It would be FFX-2 all over again... but lo' the craving for more is too strong. I often say, leave an open ending and avoid spoiling the peice of art that was originally laid down. Metal Gear Solid was remade, but withotu Hideo Kojima directing and it shows, not in a bad way, iut was a unique vision that worked. BUT wasn';t anyone confused by the plot? Am i the only onw who has play Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX? As much as I love kpojima story of nuclear and polictical power, I could not stand by with a happy face and see it committed to Hollywood...
