So I'm selling up.

What do you think is a fair price for these; you guys get first dibs before I put them up on ebay. All figures have been displayed, but in near mint condition. Non of the figures come with their stands (lost them in the move), but with all the other accessories.

Guyver 3 w/ black blades (box has yellowed): --- SOLD
Aptom: --- SOLD
Guyver 2 --- SOLD
Guyver 1: --- SOLD
Neo Zxtole --- SOLD
Guyver Gigantic Dark --- £45 SOLD

Would be glad to see them go to a good home rather than some random on ebay.

  5. I own that exact same book. It's got some pretty cool behind the scenes photo's. It's a pity only about 1/3-1/2 IS dedicated to the making of the film. The rest is either promo or storybook space.
  6. I've been after this documentry myself. I have heard both films have "making of" extras on the japanese laserdisk versions, along with dark hero having a longer version than the US version. However, the extra scenes add very little according to Steve Wang. I've also been looking for the "Making of Guyver 2" Book for almost a decade. The only copy I have seen has been in David Carpenters (evilFX/GuyverGuy) hands.
  7. As a filmmaker, I can say that shooting at nighttime is a MASSIVE ball ache, Due to lighting and electrical demands. It always makes directors of photography groan when they read it's a night time shoot.
  8. Am i the only one getting a very Gundam Exia Repair vibe from that toy. you know, the tarp over one damaged arm and the mangled face...

I'm curious about R2 "Dark Hero (Special Extended Version)". It's the same 2-hour uncut as in R1? They cropped it to widescreen or it's totally untouched full frame? BTW, anoyone have Guyver Messenger Bags? I wonder how it looks from inside (can't find detailed photos anywhere). "Untouched" full frame is an erronious concept. All feature films are shot in widescreen and then they simply stretch or crop them to fit on a standard 4:3 ratio TV. Not the otherway round. As most TV's are widescreen now, what's the point in continuing this trend? If my Live action guyver-fu is strong, the special UK DVD is the same as the US release but without remastered picture. The sound is okay, but the video looks slightly grainy and a bit narly.
  10. Plants DO react to outside stimuli. They grow towards their food (sun) and react defensively when damaged (leaking defensive sap, etc). Ants similarly have no nervous systems, should I eat them without guilt?
  11. forbidden planet always over charge here in the UK. I have no love for them.
  12. A couple of zoalords have been lost but how many Zoacrystals have been recovered? Just thinking, we've had a lot of talk about how Arkenfal has weaken over the years, has this been due to the fact he has shared his power and created the other 11 lords? Ife this is true what is stopping them from returnign the crystals to arkenfal near the final battle with the guyvers?
  13. I've had vol 24 for long time now, at least since last december. Good news this, i'll pre-order a copy as soon as I can,
  14. Hey guys, I've been pondering the feasiblity of a Guyver fan filom for years now, i've read a couple of Special Makeup effects books and film making books and i reckon with a modest naff all budget, it's possible to squeeze out a relatively cool short film about the Guyver. It's not all that unrealistic, considering the amount of fan film released on the internet over the last few years, Youtube has no less than 6 Metal Gear fan movies floating around, some with incredible results (philantrophy and the mongoose incident, to name a few). Basically, what i'm trying to say is, would you guys be interested in viewing or even taking part in, a Guyver Fan movie? I'm not saying it's a go ahead or anyhting like that, i'm just try to gauge interest.
  15. seen a smaller version of this on youtube, cool stuff. Be interesting to see if he's palnning to do anything with the renders. If so, he's got my backing the whole way, the guyver community needs some fan films n stuff. I've been interested in such a project for years. Be well!
