It sounds like a nice idea. I know that at Hyperium, all the current banners there were crafted by me and even Bobby is in the process of making additional banners for the site. But if someone is going to make a banner(s) for this site they would need all the specifics for it. Though, of course, you already know that. This could lead into a small site contest revival. The winner gets their banner(s) added to the site banner index.

Rider of 2011-2012: Kamen Rider Fourze (Spoiler/Update Info)
Toku Warrior replied to Bobby's topic in Japanese Entertainment
Don't get me wrong. The lower half of his body in that picture is cool looking. It's that damn rocket head that I can't stand. Also, I can sorta understand his name being Fourze as it's a 40th anniversary series so it does kinda like 40 but just being pronounced as Four-Zey...strange, I know. -

Actually, the one with him doing that side pose is a shopped photo of a W figure. But the one with the logo does say Kamen, not Masked. It's just somewhat blurry. I still hope it's not true. I don't want our Rider to look like this. -
Rider of 2011-2012: Kamen Rider Fourze (Spoiler/Update Info)
Toku Warrior replied to Bobby's topic in Japanese Entertainment
Oh dear god! Guys, look what we're in for this upcoming year for Kamen Rider. A Rider with a rocket for a head. If this is Toei's way of thinking outside the box then I may have finally found a reason as to why I should not watch Kamen Rider for the rest of the year. Though, I will admit that it does give me a bit of a nostalgic feeling to Super-1....and maybe even Faiz....but that's about it. Please don't let this series suck. -
I'm just loving this song. I actually just heard of this group a few minutes ago and, I must say, I'm liking their music so far.

Well, to me, the only OOO combo's I'd want to see as a SIC version are PuToTyra, GataKiriBa and TaJaDor. Maybe SaGoZou as well. Don't really want to see TaToBa, TaMaShii, ShaUTa, Birth or LaToraTah as a SIC variant. Oh, here a few things I found online at both Masked Rider News and Hobby Stock. I wish I had a Rider costume like that.

Hey, I was wondering something. I know that both Kazari and Uva are supposed to be released around Sept-or-Oct but I want to know if anyone knows when S.H. Figuarts TaJaDor w/effects parts and PuToTyra are going to be released. This way I can plan my pre-orders better for them.

Now these were somewhat funny. This one is both just too cute and really funny. I have to agree with what his bib says towards his family as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKAoEAve1aE&feature=related

Rider of 2011-2012: Kamen Rider Fourze (Spoiler/Update Info)
Toku Warrior replied to Bobby's topic in Japanese Entertainment
Well, expect it to be much harder for me to get info. I mostly get it from posts and links I find over at Henshin Justice Unlimited and now, for some strange and unknown reason, my account was banned. They didn't even bother to send me an e-mail or a PM to let me know why. It literally said this: HyperGuyver, your account has been banned. Reason: None Length of time before ban is lifted: never Just what the hell did I do over there to make them ban me? Oh well, back to the topic at hand. -
Rider of 2011-2012: Kamen Rider Fourze (Spoiler/Update Info)
Toku Warrior replied to Bobby's topic in Japanese Entertainment
Well, going by the current rumors, he uses the Rider Switches for the body to use their armor, to metamorphose into past Riders in some fashion. And Fouze can sorta be seen as phose so his name might be pronounced in such a way. I've been reading some things and many fans believe his standard form might resemble more of a Den-O Plate form and the armor from the switches is interchangeable depending on which switch key is used. -

You can visit any of those sites on a Mac. Their files are available for download via bittorrent. So, why are you thinking of leaving OoZ? -
I actually hear those two forms of mother and father terms a lot in anime now-a-days. And thanks for the extra info. It will come in very handy.
-
I didn't edit it. That was how I had heard it pronounced though I can't remember the series i heard it on. As for the Bib, that was a typing error. If I recall correctly, I was going for Bibi which you corrected me on. Well, thanks for the input.

On DVD? Didn't you DL the subbed versions from either OoZ or TV-N of Kiva and OOO? -
That was also the phrase that Wrath from FMA: Brotherhood muttered most of the time when he encountered something and/or someone he thought was annoying. Now, with some of my fanfics (nearly all of them actually) taking place in Japan or having a main character of Japanese decent and using Japanese words in those stories, I find my lack of knowledge on some ways of saying a certain word and/or phrase a bit embarrassing at times. But I do have a good question. I have noticed in many different series in anime, drama and tokusatsu that when someone addresses ones parent or the parent of a friend that many different ways of saying mother and father are used. The ones I've noticed though are: Father: Otou-(san, chan) tou-(san, chan) Oyaji Jiji Chichioya Chichi Papa Mother: Bib Okaa-(san, chan) kaa-(san, chan) Haha Mama I also noticed a word that sounded like it was pronounced 'Okuro' when someone referred to their mother. Durendal, Ryuki, can I get some clarification on some of these, please? I know the Otou and Okaa mainly so those are a dead given but how would one go about with the formal and casual way of the other words....and is Okuro a way of saying mother or is it pronounced differently?

Kamen Rider OOO spoiler/update thread

The only Feral Riders that i can truly remember are the following: Gills and Exceed Gills Another Agito Agito Burning Form Blade King Form Kiva Emperor Form Unleashed Dark Kiva Gedou-Rider DiEnd Kamen Rider W Fang-joker Form Kamen Rider OOO PuToTyra Combo Those are the only ones. Oh, did those of you who've watched eps.36 yet notice that we finally got to hear PuToTyra's theme song? Apparently, on July 27, they'll be releasing a CD+DVD set and a CD only album of all of OOO's combo themes and Birth's theme. they will have all the versions of them...at least at the moment it will but things can change. Songs are as followed: Tighten Up ~ Regret Nothing (TaToBa Combo) Got To Keep It Real (GataKiriBa Combo) Ride On Right Time (LaToraaTah Combo) Sun Goes Up (SaGoZoh Combo) Time Judged All (TaJaDor Combo) Shout Out (ShaUTa Combo) Power to Tearer (PuToTyra Combo) Birth/Re-Birth (Birth theme) That's 8 theme songs and each one has about 4 tracks per version so that means that collection will have about 32 tracks total...hopefully. the DVD combo pack will also supposedly have a music video for either 'Time Judged All' or 'Power to Tearer' or both. Also, here's the TV Spot size of Power to Tearer. -
Hey, I forgot about Otomen. I never finished the series past episode 1 as i got busy with other things. Also, I've got two more new j-dramas fully downloaded and on my list to watch. One is Okane ga Nai! and the other is Hotaru no Hikari. Okane is subbed by Timeless Subs and Hotaru is done by DoReMii subs. Here's is the story synopsis that both sites give about these two series. Hotaru no Hikari: Hotaru works for a famous interior design company. It's a glamorous job but Hotaru's private life is totally the opposite of glamorous. She lives alone, and when she isn't working she's mostly lazing about her rented house in training wear. She's not interested in men. In fact, she isn't interested in anything. "I'd rather lay around than fool around," is her motto. Her landlord is a bar owner, and one day his son, who has just separated from his wife, comes to inspect the rental property, not knowing that someone is living there. He is shocked at the mess, but not as shocked as Hotaru. He turns out to be her boss, Takano. Okane ga Nai!: Kentaro lives in the suburbs with his two little brothers. They are poor, but they are happy. The factory Kentaro works for, though, goes bankrupt on pay day and Kentaro finds himself out of a job and with even less money. The brothers are thrown out of their apartment and Kentaro, a born optimistic until then, decides that he must aggressively pursue “money”. This drama depicts the success story of Kentaro in his search for money and a better life. I also plan on starting the live-action j-drama of the manga/anime series Itazura Na Kiss. Itazura na Kiss: Late for a meeting, Kotoko was running along the corridor in school and bumped into Naoki, their lips meeting. Naoki showed his disgust, but Kotoko started to idolise him, who was good at everything from studies to sports. When Kotoko's house burned down, her father's good friend Machiko invited them to move in with her family. It was then that Kotoko realised Naoki was the elder son of Machiko, who took up the role of a fairy-godmother to bring the two together...despite the fact that Naoki was disgusted. Not discouraged, the clumsy and not-so-bright Kotoko started to do everything that would change her impression on him. Gradually, the icy-cold Naoki who disliked girls started to feel for Kotoko...

That images reminds me more of Azu-manga Daioh! than anything else. Denppa Onna is another series I have on backlog which means I'm downloading it but haven't started it yet. I did start watching Ao no Exorcist though and it look pretty good with an anime art style similar to FMA...I think it's the same studio. I'm also DLing these following series: Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (Ano Hana for short) C - The Money of Soul and Possibility Control Hanasaku Iroha Hidan no Aria Nichijou Sengoku Otome Momoiro Paradox Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai Dog Days SKET Dance I've slowly started C but the others I'll wait until another day or so before I begin watching them. -
Well, here's mine for the month of May. I used the album cover image from the upcoming OOO OST 2 which comes out next month.

Kamen Rider OOO spoiler/update thread
Toku Warrior replied to Toku Warrior's topic in Japanese Entertainment
I must say that I really like the design of PuToTyra now. At first when they designed it, it looked somewhat congested and clunky in its design but after watching it move in the series I'm really starting to love it. Plus I love seeing Eiji goes berserk and attack both Birth, Gotou and Ankh. I even loved how he owned Kazari's butt back in Eps.33. It's about time someone taught that mangy feline his place. -

I just started watching the new Yu-Gi-Oh! series today which is called Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. Seems pretty interesting enough. Here's the OP theme for the series. Mastermind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3H3v5uG8-g
