Interaction between The BIO Armour Guyver and Sho + other Life forms
Renegade replied to Aether's topic in Philosophy
I think Ryuki got the gist of what we were all saying. Young your definitely right, why would the G-Unit manipulate the host cells' protein production when it can just produce the necessary components itself. Its likely that capability of the G-Unit and human fighting ability that allows the Guyvers to be so powerful. Humans have been bred to be genetically perfect killing machines, and the G-Unit gives them an endless supply of energy. Now how do we make it bearable to read this? Lets try to pop a joke in every here and there! -
I liked the artwork for the latest episode, but again Renji's just flexing his muscles. Its nice that he's fighting with a sword instead of that unwieldely puppet. I just hope we get some good fight scenes in, and maybe Ichigo will LEARN TO FIGHT?

Feels kinda sudden to me though, I would expect more back story and character development, but this is nice. I just hope we don't get emo Sajii changing the fate of the world just because his girlfriend is missing a hand, and his sister got stabbed.

Well subs just came out, and sexy voice is way off... Wow, Sajii's life really sucks now!

Interaction between The BIO Armour Guyver and Sho + other Life forms

Too big...no more quotes... I'm glad Zeo pointed out how DNA works. The Creators planned for humans to be weapons, the G-Unit probably manipulates the host by activating dormant genes. We still have the DNA of the first microbes from which we evolved; it's just been extended. For example we are now trying to produce dinosaurs by manipulating bird DNA to express dinosaur traits. We have been able to cause the embryo of a chicken to continually grow its tail as a dinosaur would. Normally, this growth would be suppressed by the activation of another gene. I don't think that the G-Unit cellularly modifies the host, but simply deactivates the organs by suppressing blood flow and collapsing the chest cavity. I always thought that the Guyver's muscle tissue is modified similar to how a Zoanoids is: The dormant DNA is activated to produce larger rapid muscle growth. -
Signed for great justice!

All in all, a "meh" episode. Not much to say without ruining the story for you.

I have no idea what you mean. And ZOMG Chad's true form! I just saw episode 160, and I'm happy Rukia fought in an unconventional way. Openings and secret attacks still make better fights than muscle flexing and power surges, and Kubo finally remembered that in this battle at least.

My sentiments exactly! I cracked up when I saw it! Also, Throne is... Our predictions for the series are going like clockwork!: The finite operation time of Trinity, Thrones case of the crazies, their upcoming fight, that the reporter gets a big scoop, and Saji's role to some extent. Is it good that the series is going exactly as we hoped or is it bad that its completely predictable? Poll?

There are scenes were the drawing quality goes down that always bothered me. Also the one thing I really hate about Bleach is that Kubo makes all these fight scenes where Ichigo could win with real skill or strategy, but instead it just turns into who is the strongest a la DBZ. Take for example the fight with Dordoni. Can you imagine how much cooler it would have been to watch Ichigo skillfully avoid or counter a Privaron Espada's bankai and protect Nel at the same time? He even swore that he wouldn't use bankai outside of fighting the real Espada. Don't tell me he'd be overpowered because he has had all these training arcs so he should at least know how to fight skillfully.

Their definitely not normal mentally, but to assume their enhanced is saying a lot. I do agree I see a lot of similarities between Trinity and the "druggies" from SEED and Destiny. I actually liked those doped up psychos though, at least the first generation of them.

I really liked episode 15 because it showed that even though the Gundams can take down hordes of any other MS, in a well planned scenario with government funding, they can be taken down effectively. That's one thing I hated about the other Gundam series. Just because it was a war, doesn't mean that can't think of any way of defeating a single suped up mech besides using their own suped up mech. But Celestial beings is always a step ahead with their unending supply of secret weapons and abilities! Episode 17 was pretty good too, I went on a huge rant about it on anijunkie.com. Its a good, organized site of links to different anime. Just click episode 17 and read what I said.

That's why I've always hated everything about Gundam outside of the Mobile Suit fights scenes! Thank you man, it all makes sense now, that's why I thought the character's were gay as hell, CAUSE THEY WERE DESIGNED THAT WAY!

I kinda miss the char character. Yea you guys are right, I totally forgot that Heero was all about the mission. And thank god Shin lost the limelight later on! Maybe its his seiyu or his albino skin, but he really pissed me off. I got it! It was the fact that he blamed ORB (Big government) for all his problems, rather than realizing he would be long dead as a Coordinator on earth without them.

I think they could have done a better job characterizing Setsuna as Kurdish child that fought against total genocide and killed his parents as a sign of conviction. As for constantly revealing himself, Setsuna is getting away with it isn't he? Its not like he's showing his face next to the Gundam, no one even took it seriously. When he walked out of his Gundam to learn the identity of the enemy pilot, I think that was justified since he kept his helmet on, and the dude did make him kill his parents. And compared to the other pilots, I think he handles the missions best. Tieria goes emo whenever something goes wrong, Allelujah is totally batshit, and Lockon (WHAT COOL NAME! ) obviously has problems with terrorists. Last, I at least respect the main character's position on wars and killing: while bureaucrats and politicians talk People die. I also hate that everyone's totally batshit or emo. I guess I just have high hopes for this series since the protagonist isn't a clone of Amuro Ray, and his background is unique. Unfortunately they made him exactly like Heero Yui from Wing Gundam in that he's a robot with no personality. Sure he was fighting since he was a child and then trained as a Meister, but why give him that background then? Then again, if they tried to make the protagonist a typical Kurdish kid then they would loose all their fanbase. Japanese People just love to stick with the douchebag with glasses, the schizo, the emo, and the apathetic robot. For some reason, I don't like these gundams either. Its probably because none of them have actual guns. Its all glowy beams, no bullets or solid blades. My favorite gundams from Wing Gundam were actually Sandrock and Heavy Arms now that I think about it. I have some hope for the future though...Lockon has a grudge against terrorists. I know Setsuna can't really be considered one, but if Lockon knew his background then there may be some friction. The two do appear to be on better terms with each other than the other Meisters (Why do they all themselves this? German is cool sometimes but come on)

Anyone interested in serious discussion of Berserk should go to Skullknight.net It has been the most in depth forum for Berserk fans since 2000. My names Okin on the board. Everyone should check it out, and even though we have very serious discussions and our administrator tends to make little children cry we still have lots of fun.

Berserk may very well be my favorite manga. Miura does a great job with character design and plot. Its the perfect balance of story, violence, and well-placed humor from Puck or Isidoro.
