  1. They have a bard tell part of a story between songs (the songs tell the story in some parts). You would have to keep your eyes peeled if they do a Eruopean tour; I'm not sure if they've ever went to Europe for a tour yet. I know one of thier keyboardests if from the Ukraine and the rest are from here in America or elsewhere in Europe (couldn't understand the guy sometimes when he said where each member was from). Edit: Since you like it so much... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nZldYQE_aI
  2. This is a taste of what they do. They played a song from their newest album Night Castle, but I thought that it might be a little much for some of yal. Some of their songs are harsh to the ears sometimes since it's a blend of rock and classic.
  3. Just got back from the concert! OMG! There is no words to discribe how awesome the show was! There was this black guy with the voice of a bard that told the story that went along with the show, and at some parts the songs told the story. The lights were all over the place, you had to pay attention to everything, but it was never too distracting from the stage. We even got a taste on what their composer was writing back in LA, the musicians were in a such a good mood. For those looking for something awesome to watch, I recomend this! @Ryuki: It's more of a rock concert than an orchestra, but it's not entirely rock.
  4. My dad just bought two tickets to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra in concert tommorrow as a birthday gift!! I get to take a friend along too to see the show! I'm so excited!!! *runs around in circles* This'll be my first real concert to go to!
  5. I forgot to mention this earlier: I gave my art teacher a beautiful medium blue/antique teal/soft blue shawl along with a small sketch/journal and a bell Monday and she loved the shawl more than the journal and bell. Funny thing is that she was wearing a teal blouse that matched the shawl and I didn't realize it until I walked into Art class that day. Ten more days till Christmas!
  6. I hear that dude. It would be nice to have no greedy bosses at work. Today starts my Christmas Break from school! Yay!
  7. Crap hit the fan today. Dad walked out on his job after the owner of the company he works with started acting like a kid. My brother's still got his job. At least Dad's got more time to sleep and can help me out with the trailer now. He's been looking for a new job for a few months now, and we all knew that this would happen sooner or later. I know he'll get a job somewhere in state; he's good at what he does and is qualified for a lot of jobs.
  8. That I can understand. Aww! Thank you Larz!
  9. Yesterday me and my school band marched in the county Christmas parade. There were nine flutes in my section (I couldn't play because my mom (damn good nurse) told me to rest my arm as much as possible due to tendonitous problems that have been persisting for over a year now), and we still sounded good while we played Rudolph the Red Nose Reighndeer. A mojority of us band kids decorated our instruments and wore holiday hats, while the other local high school band didn't. phew...finally done with marching... Today was a company Christmas party at my dad and brother's work place. Everyone that worked there brought their family, or they just came by themselves, and we all watched whomever brought a gift play Dirty Santa. Oh Lord! That was hilarious! I bailed dad out of shopping Friday night by picking out $15 worth of candy, and it was the first gift to get locked! Dad and my brother also got a good Christmas bonus, and I got a gift too (in the kids pile...really now? I turn 18 this month for crying out loud!). I also got my new third shawl done too today! I'm really proud of it! I'll be sure to get a picture of it when my art teacher opens up the box to get it along with a little note book to carry around. If you've been in a marching band like I have, you would think otherwise.
  10. Yep, it's from Bleach. Finally! I've brought some order to my chaotic room! I can walk through it without impersonating Monty Python's Ministry of Silly Walks now!
  11. Thanks Larz! Hmmm.... Jean Grey's 'pheonix' huh? Interesting comparison, now I want to know if either Dark Rhia or Pheonix Jean would win in a fight. Edit: By the way: take a wild guess as to where I got the design from.
  12. I've got some new drawings! Guess who. It's Alkanphel, and this was not traced! This is the best drawing I've done of him. Rhia in a suite like outfit. Beserker Rhia.
  13. The pain was from the gaulbladder area (the organ that filters out the fat in food), so the docs think it might be a gaulstone. @Larz: That's where I heard about the ocarina too. A good majority of...well everyone has heard the ocarina thanks to Zelda. @LS: O man, it sounds like something my dad would have done in his teens! No joke!
  14. Dad's doing loads better now that he's on pain meds and anti-nausiua meds, and he has to avoid eating greasy stuff. We kinda moved in a rush. The trailer got worked on over the summer by a carpenter because it was falling apart in some places and we've been busy the past few months so not much got done until the last possible minute when we absolutely got to get out of the big house we use to live in. Had we had more time it wouldn't be so much of a problem. I play the flute in the band, and during marching season we're the best section that marches (we had to teach the trumbones how to march last year). I also play the ocarina on the side (specialty instrument, not a band instrument) wich is kin to the flute. Lols. I love painting stuff too. I sense a story. When was this?
  15. Yay! I'm glade you're getting better with building your model!
  16. Thanks Larz. I don't know why, but I just find weaving relaxing for some reason, especially when there's music going too. Sorry for not responding sooner guys. Just moved in to the new trailer last week and we just got internet today. It's been mostly chaos at the moment with trying to organize everything in a smaller space. I got my new tri loom two weekends ago and I just finished a purple shawl last Saturday. Yesterday we had a Christmas concerte at my school; Sr. High band (my band) played Ring in the Joy, Christmas 'ala' Big Band, Greensleves, and the traditional I'll Be Home For Christmas (our yearly tribute to the armed forces over seas during the holidays). All the peices were fun to play, and there was a trumbone quartet of God Rest Ye Gentelmen before I'll Be Home for Christmas and that was fun. Early this morning I had to take my dad up to the hospital because he was in pain and throwing up worse than when he had the stomach virus. He couldn't keep medicine down he was so bad. The docs are going to get him in for an ultrasound to see if he's got some gulbladder stones because he wasn't having a heart attack thank God. They gave him pain meds and sent him on home; he's doing fine I think (he's at work). I didn't get enough sleep, so I had to take short naps between classes today to keep seeing straight; even with caffine pills I had trouble staying awake. I just collapsed onto my futon when I got home and slept until the internet guy came to hook up the internet. And that is the summary of my past week!
  17. Yeah, I had a good Thanksgiving. How about you? I had a great one, too. Lots of wonderful food, and great company to share it with. That's good to hear.
  18. Had a nice holiday over the weekend since dad had to go to work Thanksgiving day. I got to visit some relatives and talk with some friends of the family. It was fun to hear what's going on. My writing is going slow along with my shawl project. Dad's been nagging at me because I haven't got one shawl done yet. How the heck am I suppose to work fast when I'm new with a tri loom and we're moving into a trailer in a rush? It's almost like he's telling me to go into hyper drive and make a crappy shawl for Christmas.
  19. Yeah, I had a good Thanksgiving. How about you?
  20. Okay, it's a keeper then! Happy Thanksgiving guys!
  21. It is until the VCR/DVD player goes out from being used for so long.
  22. Well, me and my dad are going to visit family up north while my brother is going to spend Thanksgiving with his girlfriend. Traditionally we all cook something for dinner, but I end up making desert most of the time. Also, if there's a good movie around the house we all sit down and watch it, or we play games like Yu-Gi-Oh or whatever's around.
  23. This is what I have so far with Ch17 and 18. What do ya think about this? Is it a keeper?
  24. I hope you do get the money to go and get that certificate. One day per week for 1050 sounds like a deal for a teaching certificate.
  25. I need help! I've hit writers block with my fanfic again. I can't decide if I want the next chapter to be a comedy chapter between Rhia and Purgstall, or if it should be when Rhia gets taken by Zeus' Thunder and gets rescued by some mysterious new character. Should I do both or something else?
