Sorry for the long wait, Ryuki. This is the one my dad bought for me on eBay.

I'm almost done with another shawl project! I used medium blue and light blue yarn for this one and I plan on adding a fringe to it when my arm stops screaming at me. Also, I found out recently that my brother was playing Halo: Reach online with the lead singer of Disturbed the other day. Here's how it went: Z: You sound familiar... Who are you? David: I'm the lead singer from Disturbed, David Draiman. Z: ...Dude, I find that hard to believe... David: *sings a line from Prayer* Z: Okay, I know what's gonna happen, but do the noise... David: F**** YOU!! BOOOM!! Z's Spartan goes flying through the air. David: You and every-- *continues to curse and rant* Z: *laughs his butt off* Z's my brother, and that's what he told me and Dad. Somehow I'm inclined to believe him with the way the guy responded to Z's request regarding the noise: if he didn't respond in that manner then it would have been some dipstick trying to impersonate the guy.

The flamethrower and bazooka were used in WW1!!? Damn! I'm gonna end up rewriting my rough draft latter today. Thank a bunch Mirabilis!

I am very tempted to throw in a little romantic comedy in my fanfic...just not sure how to write it and who it should be between. Do I tred those waters, or not? [emote=monkey]think[/emote]

Yeah, every history teacher will go back to the two WWs. I'm kinda dissapointed though: there are no books related to weapons used in WW1. I checked the school and county libraries, and there are only ittybitty books that don't cover much on weapons. I've been mostly going to the internet for the info on the weapons named in the books.

Going as Alkanphel? Okay, that would be cool if you could pull that off! That would be a ball unto itself if you did it. I thought about making an Alkanphel cosplay a while back too, just for fun and messing with some of my Guyver friends.

Me and my English 12 class started our research on WW1 for a research project. A lot of my classmates are using Trench warfare as their topic, and I'm going for the Artillery topic. Oh ho...I'm gonna have fun with this topic!

Oh dang...That sounds way fun. You cosplayed as Aptom! Awesome!

On the border of North Western Arkansas and Oklahoma. It's really beautiful country up there when you go at the right time of the season.

We went up state to see some relatives over the weekend while it snowed. I got out of school early after lunch because the school board thought it was going to get bad; I bet they feel like idiots now with the roads all nice and clear. Well, we were able to head up to my uncle's early afternoon and we passed a lot of beautiful snow country, and we forgot our cameras... Damn...it was beautiful, like the snow scenes on Christmas cards. Note to self: take camera everywhere. Cell phone no good for pics.

We've had a few incidents like that before, and a few shipments came in a week earlier than expected. Dad says he's going to give the seller time to ship the figure before going to PayPal and demanding his money back. He's bad irritated with the seller. Now that I think of it, I don't remember Dad having to pay customs charges for any overseas purchases, including one of my ocarinas that costs about $150 or so that came from Korea. Edit: Just got an email from the seller. He shipped it out yesterday and it should be here in two weeks or so and he has it under 'gift' so it won't be charged by customs.

Late yesterday afternoon me, my dad, and my brother had to thaw the window heat pump unit and drill drain holes in the bottom part where a lot of water was accumilating and freezing. There was a drain hole, but it wasn't doing a very good job and it froze. It was an easy fix, but it was hilarious to see dad cursing the machine after putting insulation in around the unit and trying to put the front cover back on. We also got an e-mail last night from the guy we ordered the Purgstall figure from about a week or more ago, asking if we wanted to buy anything else, and guess what? THE BLOODY IDIOT HASN'T SHIPPED THE DAMN THING YET!!! Come on! I've ordered stuff from Chinese sellers before and I've never had this problem until now! They frekin' shipped the item the next day or on after the weekend, not wait a damn week and ask them if they want anything else! *sigh* I should've checked his ratings and see if it was worth ordering from him...damn it this is irritating.

Ah, okay. My dad and brother seem to have kept their sense of humor, that's why I was concerened.

Is it common for certain people to have trouble laughing? I've noticed recently I've been having trouble laughing at something funny unless there's someone else laughing at it. Everyone around me has been saying I've been laughing a lot more since my dad got away from my stepmom (forever known as the evil), but I'm having trouble identifying what to laugh at. Is that good or bad?

I'm not sure wich is worse: having a cat pee on you in the morning or the toaster biting the dust while making breakfast? For some odd reason both happened to me this morning.

Dad's happy. He and my brother just got a new heat pump window unit and the trailer feels more comfortable now. Also, a friend of mine made a little suggestion last night. I told him I was getting the Purgstall figure, and this is what he said (Warning:incoming insanity!!), "If you ever get the Guyot figure, stock up on Barbie doll outfits and just have fun." Guyot maybe the last character I'd get, but its ideas like those that I wished I didn't give away all my little Barbie doll stuff. I'm gonna have to draw a comic about that now, I can't stop grinning about it.

Just got done reading volume 6 of the Guyver manga, and now I'm seeing a lot of things that were left out of the 2005 anime. With Takaya-sensie there at the studio overseeing the progression of that series, I'm starting to think that the TV series looks more like a revisied version of the manga. It's cool in a way; I saw the 2005 series first then I looked up the manga after finishing the series and bought vol.s 6 & 10.

I'm jealous. I've been to a Ren fair before, but never to an anime con. What are they like? I've heard they're fun, especially if you cosplay as an anime character.

I'm gonna wait on getting an oboe. I talked with my band director today, and I found out that there is one at the school, but it can't play a single note and it would cost a lot to get it fixed. Also, I really don't go through another student instrument fiasco like I did last school year and earlier this school year. That was bull crap and I'm not going through that again, especially with an instrument that has higher priced parts to buy. I started another shawl project late yesterday for a good friend of mine down in Louisianna. She's old, and she and her husband look after some family land down there since we live in another state. I thought it would be nice to make her a western looking shawl (think light blue and medium blue colors). They're good folks, and I thought I'd do something nice for them.

Toy, definately the toy! I already have one! ... Just kidding, I gave it away years ago.
-
I see what you mean with the Purgstall figure. However, the oboes I can afford are cheaply made student oboes; the intermediate oboes are in the thousands. Student instruments are natorious for falling apart after a few years, especially since my school band plays college level music.
-
You mean the toy xylophone or the band xylophone?
-
I'm thinking about getting an oboe since I'm stuck with the oboe part in band. I can't play the real high notes on my flute so the director gave me the honor of being the only person playing the oboe part on the flute. Conflicting that is the desire to get the Purgstall action figure made by Max Factory. On one hand: I'm the only person playing the oboe part in the lowest register of the flute and the school doesn't have any oboes to rent; the other: an action figure I've been wanting for a long time and dad's got the money to get it unless I go for an oboe. [emote=onion]tears[/emote] Damn it! I don't know what I want! Should I go for the super expensive oboe instrument or should I get the Purgstall figure?

I wished I could've done that if I had found any appropriate songs in time. Some of them were in tablatur forms (something I have trouble understanding), and the only songs I know are from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Oh well, there was a group of boys that played a nice church tune called How He Loves Us.

Be careful what you say. A regular Northern city person could've done the same thing, also I'm from a redneck family.
