  2. Another Guyver game that I thought was plausible would be a free roam similar to Prototype, but when you level up you don't unlock weapons and abilities of the Guyver because that would become available during progressive key events in the main story, but rather level up your effectiveness with the weapons and abilities.

    Example:

    Faster regenerative powers

    Less energy consumption

Combo Tiers for High Frequency Sword Attacks

Faster Charge Times for attacks like the Mega Smasher or Pressure Cannon.

Of course disengage the armor to hide or lower awareness of Chronos.  This would most likely take place post X-Day.

  3. Yeah I was able to get it for free on Amazon Kindel Unlimited and read the whole thing through in like three hours.  Aside from what Matt pointed out with the errors in the book, it was still a decent read and it allowed me to reevaluate certain elements.

  4. ...What if Agito defeats Klumeggnigg/Jabir (pretty much a given by now)... shrinks back down to Guyver III... and that is the moment Guyot strikes? With the Remover?

...Problem: how to get rid of Griselda and the Libertuses. Answer: well, he presumably still has his gravitonic abilities. He only has to hold them off while he absconds with the Unit. And if he still has some Unuses at his disposal...

    Then, Guyver-Guyot would confront Archanfel...

If Guyot defeats Archanfel, the ultimate battle will be between him and Sho.

As this is going on, Apollyon takes on the remaining Zoalords, with the next-to-last battle between him and Galenos. Epic fight which Apollyon ultimately wins; now he wants to move on Archanfel, but there is still one standing in his way: Hamilcar Barcas, Barcas finally takes on his battleform, revealing he can only do this once ever.

So Barcas and Apollyon throw down, with the Zoalord being the ultimate winner at the cost of his own life, but as he dies, he is happy in the knowledge he successfully defended Archanfel - but right after he perishes, Guyot attacks Archanfel.

The ultimate battle should be on the Moon, or maybe even Mars, as both Sho and Guyot want to spare Earth, although for different reasons.

Of course, after the battle, in which Sho should probably be the victor (but knocked out / cocooned), we see a spaceship on a course for Earth... and as we get a look inside, we see an army of Apollyons!

    well...[insert Curse]!

  5. I am pretty sure that if Guyot isn't able to outright own Archanfel, I do believe that he would be on Archanfel's level and would probably in the end win.  Makes you wonder if the Guyver unit would be able to multiply the Virtual Blackhole ability that Guyot's has?  Perhaps cause a universal collapse?

I find it interesting that Sho has a "ceasefire" going on, but it could very well become a partnership if a stronger common enemy surfaces, like a Guyver Guyot.

  6. yeah I managed to find and download most of these movies and Hulu has some on it as well that I enjoy from time to time.  I constantly watch War of the Gargantuas on it along with Frankenstein Conquors the World on my PC.

Also Gezora does make an appearance as an enemy on the old Nintendo game: Godzilla Monster of Monsters.  He along with the old Mogura(The Mysterians) are the first two enemies you encounter.  I also wish they would make a movie with Godzilla going up against Bagan, who was shown only once in the video game; Super Godzilla, loved that game.

  7. Well the way Mjolnir determines who is worthy is based on who Odin believes to be worthy.  The only mortals that Odin would recognize and allow passage into Valhalla are warriors who died a violent and honroable death...so hate to point out the obvious of who comes to mind, but technically the only ones who have "died" would be Sho and Murakami/Imakarum and would be worthy in my opinion.  Be interesting to see either of them weilding the hammer of Thor or even Gungnir (Odin's spear).

Do we know if Agito's change color as well or perhaps the armor detail that is pale yellow turn into red?

I support the version they turning red and his own colour became more "bright":

Officially we don't know it yet. Maybe we will know it when the 32 volume of the manga will be published.

Kind of reminds me of the color scheme of Guyver 3 back in the 12 part series.

  9. I know Sho's Gigantic changes from a pale yellow to red when in Gigantic Exceed mode. Do we know if Agito's change color as well or perhaps the armor detail that is pale yellow turn into red?

I think that as long as the sickness will damage the hosts body it will heal it.

They should still be able to get sick though.

Are you sure the Unit would activate on an already sick host?

How is the unit to know if the host is sick?

The Unit scans a host on merger. It is fact that the Unit-G was not designed to work on humans, we're just lucky of the affect it has on us vs everything else out there in the Guyver Universe. It was a general tool pre-dating Humanity and possibly all but the most basic life on Earth.

The Uranus brought this tool to Earth which was common place throughout the "Federation".

These are the basics we know from the translation of Book 15 thanks to the flashback Imakarum witnessed.

The Unit-G is designed so that it scans the host, merges and enhances (bio-boost) them and it does this by scanning the host and reading their DNA. It has countless millions of years of development behind it and is capable of reproducing a hosts memory even after the brain is destroyed yet will regrow a host perfectly the way they were scar tissue and all. Takaya didn't put that in the comics without reason. It explains limitations as well as why it is a very powerful bio-armour.

At this point I'll stop, as sickness can mean anything from flu, the runs, to cancer. All are different and have different causes, but read the above and then explain to me why a Unit will do what you think.

I never claimed it could remove sickness or illness.  Was just curious if the unit was sentient enough to realize something that is a threat to the hosts health and if it would remove it on it's own in time.  Also, I do realize the unit scans it's host and makes the proper adjustments accordingly, but even if it found the flu or cancer, would it be able to discern this as being something harmful?

  11. Yeah, I had posted the topic years ago that if someone had a prior ailment when they bioboosted for the first time, would it heal them?

I think the overall conclusion was no, but it would prevent it from worsening, however some made the argument that if the unit continuously repaired the damage that it would eventually recognize it as a threat and remove it.

  12. This is why these kind of conversations are so controversial.  The comic book heroes and villians don't have a true set bases for people to base things off of.  So many of them have been taken from author to author and the character(s) are changed from the extreme(like obliterating planets) to underwhelming(struggling to lift a car).  Granted the majority of the time people keep it true to the core, but it changes so much where everything about that character is subjective.  So if we want to challenge Guyver against Iron Man, fine, but which version?
