I got a few minutes. Timothy Zahn was the author who wrote the Thrawn trilogy. He was also the one who first came up with the planet coruscant. So it irks me that Lucas would use some information while ignoring equally important information in that same trilogy. It was also stated that the clone wars was in effect 48 years prior. Which would of been 43 years before episode 4. So he ignored that as well and said that the clone wars ended 20 years(episode 3) before episode 4. The prequel trilogy changed the existing timeline. And as for the Droids vs clones? Its laughable! This war was suppose to be terrible. Felt across the galaxy. But the only real casualties were mass produced drones. No real collateral damage. No serious aftermath except the wallets of both sides... Ok breaks over gotta go.

The clone wars happened in the time of the empire. the clone masters invaded the galaxy kinda like the vong have. There is no real source book to back this. This is info gleamed from the novels and movies from before episode one.. Heck. The clone masters weren't even Kamino. They were called Spaarti. There has been references that said that older officers in the empire fought against the clones. And first gen clones were prone to going crazy. all this came from the same book that first introduced Coruscant. Gotta go to work, I'll finish when i go on break.

I'll stick with the clone wars cartoon topic for now. OK... Anakin having an apprentice. Ur right mirabilis... Completely wrong. But I'm patient and can give people benefit of the doubt. Plus its fur kids, designed to appeal to kids so again, i can over look it. Annoying but not that big a deal. plus she is a unresolved issue. The series ended with her still alive. Biggest problem was the reason behind the war. It was a joke. They turned the clone wars into a failed Rebellion. a evil failed rebellion. This is one of the biggest hurts for me. The Rebellion is my favorite period. Its the reason I'm so looking forward to this cartoon series. The clone wars series had a lot of issues i disagreed with but i still could enjoy moments when they got it right. By the way, their core fundamental concept of the clone wars is flawed. Wasnt the original clone war idea.

There was talk about abc having a live action series based on bounty Hunters. That possibly is still live because Disney owns abc. Plus there is still a few, faint rumors of the show still happening. Prequels and clone wars.... Should i make another thread out would it be ok that i rant like a lunatic in this one? I kinda wanna keep on topic and technically talking about the ups and downs is relatively on point.... Its just that... Well... I can go on about the flaws in all the prequels that affected how the clone wars turned out ...

i always thought that the clothes data was saved in the control metal. On that thought what would happen to items such a cell phone? I just remembered something. And i really hate to reference this cause the American movies are... Hardly canon... But in dark hero he was able to stop a bullet with the palm of his hand. Take that as you will, not every one goes by the movies, for obvious reasons.

I always assumed that the first cover was just artist liberties. Something cool to look at. As far i can guess, the purple lining could simple be a liner. Sealing the body in a airtight environment. Or it could be a softer armor material. Softer to allow free range of movement while giving full coverage in protection.

Ok i read it. I'm very pleased with it. This issue may not of had any updates about Sho and company, but it cleared up any misgivings i had about Val. I liked it!

The article has more details. Now my views.... (clears throat) What many may or may not know is, I'm extremely critical on all things star wars. I can't stand the prequels much less the clone wars by any reasoning. Yes. The cartoon series was good, even great at times, but it wasn't what the clone wars was suppose to of been. That said in totally excited by this announcement, tho i am also.... Leery... Since the star wars clone wars series is official this series will be basing stories from the show. Not looking forward to that. Another worry is they might reference the force unleashed game... Great game, but so not canon. Even so... Still geeking out about this. Very happy. Vary very happy.

Woo... 14 pages of Lisker family squabbles. Sorry, i can't get excited about this. Not when i think of the major current events like Mizuki and Tetsuro meeting a sleeping alky. Or the details of Sho's and Agito's truce. Or even the Zoalord meeting to discuss the Guyvers proposition.. When faced with all these things, seeing how Lisker and Val meet don't seem to be all that important. Just me.

Ill give you the numbers for sentai but I'll raise you the exceed for the mechs. I guess that's kinda what I'm getting at. If taisen is the name of a fighting game... I played DC vs mortal combat and was a little disappointed that any one could hold there own against characters like superman, even flash or joker. It disappointed me even tho i know it has to be balanced. Then i played the newest justice league game and owned doomsday with cat woman. I can't help but think while i was in the midst of destroying the unkillable behemoth that this shouldn't even be a contest. cat woman would die, nasty bloody unrecognizably die. But i was winning so i wasn't complaining too much! And then i started comparing Guyver to those in the game then Guyver to the Kamen Riders, then the Guyver world to the Riders world. To me it really seems that must of the Heisei monsters aren't... Brutal like the zoanoids. Now i only seen Kamen Rider the first, the next and some of black rx. Haven't seen any other Toei rider shows so i don't know much of the monsters and how they act.... Let me see if i can simplify my thoughts... If a rider monster is going to kill some one, there is some posturing, some slow advancement that usually leads to a chase then the monster attacks, not always killing the normal human in one hit. A zoanoid? He shows up, kills them walks away. So.... Monster: 40 second to a minute to kill. Zoanoid: 5 seconds. Usually thru dismemberment out disembowelment. Sorry for the wall of text.

I'm not sure I agree on the Kamen Riders being more brutal. I keep thinking of Sho in the ova where he literally ripped apart a Ramotithes with his hands. I can't imagine any riders topping that.

I don't remember the team 5 members being in the second act, or even its into. See... now you made me wanna go back and watch the ova again. You happy now!? Any who, as for the changes, much as i can remember only difference is the death of team 5. So aptom would be a little weaker than he was in the manga. At least until he finds some poor other hypers to prey on. But other than that i can't recall any other plot changes.
