  1. He also borrowed some ideas from Hermeticism and Hermetica (Been looking up Lovecraft's Mythos the past month saw discussions on it and how hermeticism seems to be similar. Here is a little excerpt.
  2. Check it out! Moskit finished his work on Guyver 1 helmet: More pictures: guyver-world.ru/guyver-helmet.php Early pictures of creation process: guyver-world.ru/forum/index.php/topic,2824.0.html (warning: a lot of pics)
  3. The chick will probably be called 'Brandy'.
  4. Hey guys, well the last two years have been rather crazy for me. Life is going by so fast it's crazy to think that I was only 17 when I first joined this site! Well, I've been certified this year for filming and using cable studios so that's awesome! Now I'm just working on my own various projects and such. Hopefully things will continue to move forward for me.
  5. I have read quite a bit of Lovecraft's Mythos stuff (and a lot of Mythos stories by other authors, as well) and I can tell you that he made it up. Except perhaps some of the names, like Dagon. But his cosmology and teratology were entirely him. Maybe he borrowed a little from Lord Dunsany and Robert Chambers.
  6. Thats actually quite hard to pin down. The likes of Cthulhu and Yog-Sothoth where as far as I know his own creations while other like Dagon take inspiration from actual deities. This is made even more confusing by the fact that the lovecraft mythos has been added to by some many people (his friends at the time and a lot of other people since). Dagon - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dagon I own a lot of lovecraft related stuff (although I have yet to read it all yet).
  7. Just remember my friend. God brings all things for a reason. Everything you have experienced is for a reason. Think carefully about what things have stood out to you the most. The things you have experienced in this time, what themes are the most important. What is god saying to you? You've been given a gift. It might not be easy to deal with, but it will mould your character so strongly. It will make you far stronger. I don't know what the right decision will be for you. Perhaps your indecision abut the art institute is something that is meant to keep you from going there and to be ready for something else that will become available to you? On the other hand, the indecision you are feeling could be a test of your convictions? Only you can know because only you can see the signs that god has left for you.
  8. Hey, good to see you around again! Damn, that's some terrible luck dude Really sucks when life goes like that in relationships. But think of it this way: it's one less person out of the way between you and your soul mate (where ever she may be at the moment). Her loss for not sticking with a cool guy like you. Don't let her going to the same school you want to get into make you not attend and delay you realizing your dream. Just don't EVER get back with her; she's not worth getting back with if she played you like that.
