Not sure if you guys have seen this, but there is a new Guyver figure coming out made by K-Soul. Never heard of this toy company before but the toy looks really cool! Really dig the light up feature, a must have for me.

Barkas was Carthaginian, but yeah, they were Phoenicians, originally... However, Hamilcar Barcas lived in the third century BC. The name Barca is uncommon, but not unknown; however it is not tied to a particular nationality. I always assumed he was Portuguese because of the way he dressed and the time he lived in (circa 1600). *** It occurs to me that there are not even that many people who know what Archanfel's human form looks like - the Zoalords and Aptom and that's it. And Aptom might not even realize it.

I remember, good times. While I would like her back its more then likely we'll get the Kai voice actor, who is very good but Linda's voice made Frieza seem creepier and more alien. The only down side was that back in the day the dialog wasen't as good, which makes it a big shame she didn't come back for Kai. I always felt that Linda Young was the one voice actor that gave Frieza his character. I really feel like she gave him life in the anime. His new voice is going to take a little getting used to...

I'm impressed that Frieza is back with a power over load. I am some what hoping Linda Young reprises her role as Frieza's voice. She did voice Frieza in the original dbz, but not in Kai.

New form looks pretty cool. I'm curious to see what the story is on Frieza and how he came by that power.

we've seen him talk, and that was rendered in Japanese since the manga is in Japanese. in fact it does seem highly likely that Archanfel and all the zoalords speak whatever language Barcas was most comfortable with. it's what Barcas would have been using when first trying to communicate with Archanfel and so it would follow on. just checking on the person Barcas was likely based on, Hamilcar Barca, he was a Phoenician general. now of course Barcas did not seem to be a general he looked more like an explorer but it's very possible that he came from the same place. the language was Phoenician and very similar to Hebrew.

The translation is up... They don't know who he is...!! Man, Mizuki's face when she finds out... And they can't even understand what he is saying. Making me wonder whether Archanfel even speaks Japanese. I wonder what language he does speak by default. Portuguese, learned from Barkas? If Barkas even is Portuguese? But he's been in telepathic contact with Imakarum for so long... And they call him 'Al' , I guess. But of course Japanese has no separate letter for 'L'... this is a bit of a throwback to the whole Alchanfel / Archanfel thing.

I agree, I think it'd be great to see Sho and Mizuki unwind. I mean, Sho has been going at it hard against Cronos and other enemies for a while now. I mean, its great that they're in a strong relationship and she's supporting him as his girl friend. I am hoping to see more dialogue between Sho and Mizuki at the very least and seeing that would be really good.

They'll never go back to what they were. I mean, just think back to how you were when you were a teenager... unless you still are a teenager, of course... and compare to how you are now. Now imagine what it would be like if you went from perfectly normal middle-class life (and what society has more normal middle-class life than Japan) to a state of constant global war against shapeshifting super-warriors. It's a miracle they didn't just go insane.
