So I have been browsing through your Guyver threads and well, they're all pretty old. And I am not about to start necroposting so I was wondering if it would annoy you to make several Guyver threads? I mean, not all at once but I just want to talk more about what I know and/or what's been happening in the manga. Also, I got so excited that I went ahead and read the raw scans of volume 31 and 32. I have to say it looks quite interesting! I sort of have the gist of what's going on based on what I know so far, but a few things do still confuse me. Oh well. Get your translations ready because I ordered Guyver volume 31 and 32!

It's not that big of a deal, especially when you've noted that you've gone back and read threads. Asking questions that may have been answered already is perfectly fine.

I mean you could also just make a "APOLLYON'S BIG QUESTION THREAD'O'RAMA" and keep all the questions in one thread, or create a few.

It's all good really.

"Bad necro posting" is finding an old topic and posting things like "Cool!" or "Did not know that!" ect... That do not further the discussion. But if it is a question of comment that contributes something NEW to the topic, it's not a bad thing at all really.

Well basically I had a few questions regarding why Apollon is chasing Guyot, when he already mentioned he had no need for his fake crystal. And why there is now a house on the Mysterious Island. Just why and what the heck is Archanfel doing in there. Why is he just chilling with Tetsuo and Mizuki. Also, did Valkyria ever explain where she found the Guyver unit she owns? Those are my questions.

Awesome! No trust me I'm not about to waste a necropost on a one word answer, that would be stupid. I have far more to contribute to a topic than that.

Apparently my volumes are set to come in by June 15th. I have the raw scans but I would really like to read the full translated text on what's going down. It looks great and things are really picking up.

Also also, Apollon's blade technique looks a lot like Li's blade. Wonder if he used his technique or it's a variation. Perhaps it was his own. The character reminds me a lot of Black Oak, one of the Metarex from Sonic X.

It is Li'sBlate technique. Which is very cool for a number of reasons.

1) Apollyon when he went up against Carleon copied his "super" ability in battle and used it against him. Carleon said at the time basically only he and one other zoalord had this ability. 

2) Apollyon used Li's ability without ever seeing it before showing that even if Carleon was never to face him he didn't juse copy that ability. 

 

What this means to me is that basically Apollyon's abilities are that of all the zoalords and that much like the other zoalords they all come from one being. I personal think he is Imakarum and that from the beginning he has shown to be more than just a Gravity Zoalord that Guyot was. That since being hit by the energy from the Ark he has being super charged. Why he's going Apollyon and going strage is also something simular that happened to Agito after seeing the world almost destroyed. I think they might be something more to that part of the story that Takaya hasn't shared yet.

1. Officially unknown... But speculation has guessed that he is after the unit remover... Which if Guyot survived, perhaps it did as well.

2. The house is there mostly because Archanphel needs some assistance, and having Tetsuro and Mizuky on the island without any kind of comforts themselves would be rather counter productive.

3. Archanphel used a metric ton of energy to revive Imakarum and seems to have either damaged himself further, or his normal sleep cycles aren't able to do the trick anymore. Tetsuro and Mizuky are there to essentially babysit him and make sure he stays healthy.

4. Valkyrie's Guyver unit was created from Guyver 2's bio-boost cells and an Artificial control medal that Chronos made. It was in storage in the Pillars of Heaven US base that she broke out of.

5. As mentioned by Sully, the blade Apollyon used was the same technique that Li has. Likewise, he has also used the powers of Edward Carleon... on Carleon himself and won. So it is speculated that, much like how it was always said that Archanphel was either as strong as all 12 Zoalords and/or their powers are derived from him... Apollyon seems to be able to possibly use them all as well.

Okay that makes a little more sense. In the meantime while Archanfel is recuperating does he know who Apollon is? I don't believe I have seen him act surprised in any as to who or what he is. Which is a little odd considering all of the other twelve lords have expressed caution around him. It makes me wonder where Imakrum Miribilis went. Last I knew he was healing but then he woke up and he was still on the island when Barcus came to check on Archanfel.

We believe Archanphel knows exactly who Apollyon is, and he doesn't seem too happy with his current actions. And Takaya has given us a lot of clues. The majority opinion is that Apollyon is

Imakarum

. It's probably also why he singled out Tetsuro and Mizuky.

Well, they didn't seem to salvage any of Guyver II's control medal, only some of the bio material. The stuff that needs the control medal to be controlled. If you pay close attention, her control medal is actually made of a different material than Guyver 1 or 3's. That is because it is an Alien metal that they could not reproduce at all, and seems to be the main reason that Valkyrie is having issues ( also it has been noted that Apollyon's armor IS made of the same metal as the Guyver control medal)

Valkyrie is actually the adopted sister of Oswald Lisker. And Liskers family is similar to the Makashima family in that they are long time Chronos supporters, thus the children usually join as well. She joined Chronos of her own free will and become an inspector like her elder brother under her own power. So she had made quite the name for herself, and like Lisker, was probably in good position to be a leader somewhere in Chronos. But Valkyrie has become a traitor to Chronos officially when she stole the proto-type Guyver unit that they had created. She only joined Guyot for 2 major reasons: 1. Keep Chronos off her back. They have been able to track her and try to capture/kil her. Guyot saved her from one such attack and offered his help with the next point: Revenge against Guyver 1.

So, she was "Helping" Guyot to get to Guyver 1 (the attack on the mansion was to try and capture Tetsuro and Mizuky)... But after their recent "loss" at the mansion, Apollyon and Guyver 1 nearly killing Guyot, and Agito fighting the rogues, I doubt their alliance will last much longer.
