H222G981 Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) Seeing as we get topics taken down based on two fictional characters having a possible sexual relationship and getting reprimanded for that, but we can discuss sex in the Guyver section about Sho and Mizuki without getting reprimanded. Should we consider having that taken down as well? The rules say no porn, but my post about two characters and having to do with Power Rangers series had nothing to do with Porn was hidden and I was told it was up for review as in obviously it was rule breaking. So why don't we discuss that? I'd like to know in writing what is allowed to discuss and what isn't. Most of the members here are adults. So I'd just like to know. On the other had, isn't the adult section that Jess put up herself be taken down? or should my topic be placed in that section? I will say that it's contradictory to what just happened to me. And the "Adult" section of the forum is locked off by a simple password, so it's not necessarily "Open to Public" as it were. You have to go through other steps to see it. The forum is essentially "Safe for work", despite Guyver being a slightly more adult comic. And your post about Mizuky being sexualized in the manga is a valid question and concern about how a character is treated in a manga. The discussion in that thread was well done and mature. You were asking in your new thread whether or not we thought two people from a children's series, had sex, when there is no evidence of it. NOT the same thing. I SHOULD reprimand you for not keeping this private, and instead you had to make it public and make a stink over something small.

As Matt said that is passworded and isn't open to general access, but even there I'd expect people to have some common sense and not be too creepy. But anyone complaining about that section not being work safe... well it's pass-worded for a reason. But that area of the board is Guyver related content only. Creepy is when you approach a topic that really we don't want to be talking about on a public board. Again "common sense" is the approach we take now. You can argue some people have good common sense and others don't but simply put talking about things like Children's programs and actors having / had / didn't do is getting into a dodgy topic and a theme that will only end bady. In that regards I've no need nor want to have an area of the board were people talk "Hentai", if that is what you're into I'm sure there are other.... places you can go and don't need me telling you how to get there. This is a Guyver / Sentai board. While the topic was Sentai related (Power Rangers) it was a topic that was rumor and of poor taste and possibly slanderous to the two people (actors) that it was subject of. If it was a topic that came from the actual show (e.g. what Enzyme Apotom done to Mizuki) that would be totally different. Again how Matt put it, being mature about it helps. What Matt said too about dragging this into the public, not cool Mercer. But we'll leave this as it is, a learning lesson.
