Man, Marina is playing the scarred little woman roll a little bit too much. Reminds me of Relina in the first 5-10 episodes of GW. She needs to grow a back bone and bitch-slap some sense into Setsuna for pete's sake. I mean, she basically loves him enough that she should stand up to him more often.

they are trying to play that female character for drama with all her worth. Feels forced on us viewers, though I'd probably of cried if I knew someone like Setsuna in real life, but in her case she doesn't know his entire story and is just overly emotional. I wonder if those fanboys and fangirls at fanfiction are going to treat her as badly as they did relena when she first appeared. There was no end to "going through that period" jokes at the time.

Well, there is an alternative way of watching the series. If it takes a long time for you to acquire the video in good quality and can't wait to watch it, crunchyroll can satisfy your urge. You can actually watch it there while waiting for your dl to finish. Last week, while waiting for my dl to finish, I watched it in crunchyroll instead.

The difference with traditional mass murder is that you at least have someone pulling the trigger. But nope, the A-Laws are content on letting machinery do all the work, not all that different from Nazi's preferences for efficient gassing chambers.

So you only think it's bad that machines are killing people instead of soldiers who have been indoctrinated into thinking they are protecting their country? I think the real issue is that the totalitarian World Government (What are they calling it?) is annihilating any opposition, ignorant of how many innocent die. Hence why I mention recent, similar invasions.

I think it's bad because it leaves no room for any human sympathy on the killers part, also it provides and excuse for them not taking blame by saying:

"I didn't kill them, I was just ordered to drop them, I didn't know people would get killed"

Or

"Just following orders, I would never of shot them, but the machines were the ones killing, not me."

Total inhalation of the opposition isn't new. Heck even the Israelites practiced that, they committed a war of Genocide during their attempts to resettle into the holy lands after escaping Egypt. Men, women, and children from entire towns, villages, and cities ...slaughtered in the name of god. It was the norm back then. Today, it shouldn't be happening since we have such a better understanding of the people near us. Still in real life, and in anime (with horrible foreshadowing) continue to remind us of the actual reality.

Well, no, because that was part of the background story which made up the story of the series. The last time I saw something like this was in Zeta Gundam. I'm not sure if there was any in V Gundam because I slept throught the whole series while watching it. But I did remember the characters dying like flies in V Gundam.

Whole space colonies of people die in almost every Gundam series. Except maybe G Gundam.

yeah, but in Gundam X it was 99% of the human population on earth killed off.

Anyways, the new episode was pretty dramatic. And next episode should be a very cool showdown.

I'm guessing that this series is now licensed? I seem to be having difficulty finding avi's that I have to contend with mp4's and MKV's.

Well, Eps.5 had no avi's but i knwo that conclave released an avi of Eps.6. It was probably already liscensed along side season 1 to begin with because animesuki never listed season 2 when the subbs were first released.

Ah, well, regardless if they are licensed or not, I don't think that will stop those who are persistent to release fansubs. But anyway, episode 6 was a good episode. I was expecting Saji to be an emo for the rest of the series, but good thing he managed to get his resolve in just one episode. Unlike some other pilot that we all know in some other series. But then again, looking at the situation Saji is in, don't you think it will just add to his emo-ness when he finds out what he's done if he did it?

Just one question though, do you think Louise is dead to Saji?

Not to sure. I haven't watched Eps.6 yet. What, did they finally meet after only 5-6 episodes? If they did then damn, that was quick.

well not face to face. But as usually they are on opposing sides holding a trigger at one another. He's not too different from SEED's protagonist, albeit less disillusioned.
