*Jess♥ Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I found my old archived site from 2004. it's pretty much the ancestor of this site, it's where I first started with compiling data from the guyver manga and when I first started translating. The data comparison is actually pretty good. you can list by order of height, strength, weight etc.also, the height chart I did back then was interactive.you can directly compare the height of different characters. I'd forgotten about those bits so it's pretty nice to find them again.I wish the coding wasn't so messed up though. it got mangled by hte geocities server side software. I think some of it might have been done with microsoft word too. perhaps at some point I did a lazy edit in word and it ruined the whole lot. too much work to fix it all so sorry about any glitches. http://www.japan-legend.com/cronosenemy/ 1 Quote
Guyver Four Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Your old Web site can also be found at www.geocities.ws/drag-5. However, the Height Reference section is not available from this URL. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 really? oh wow!! thanks for that!! There is an image there that I have been looking for. Quote
Guest Jupiter Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Wow, you were in your early 20's when you made that site. You still working on CGI? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 No, I used to get so wrapped up in it I would forget to eat to talk to people and generally any normal stuff, I really had poor mental health round that time and it was part of the reason. I might pick it up again one day if I decide to make a game in 3d. actually, I was 17 when I started that site. 1997, around the time when internet started to become a thing rather than a toy for rich kids. *Jess♥ Posted July 5, 2014 Author Posted July 5, 2014 Your old Web site can also be found at www.geocities.ws/drag-5. However, the Height Reference section is not available from this URL. it's like that version needed some updates, but they couldn't confirm my ownership with email address so they deleted it. so basically I re-upped it at http://www.geocities.ws/tokyoflats1569/ Quote
Bio-Boosted Dude Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 What's the unit of measurement for the strength chart? And are figures present in the data files or is this based on average human strength and then the knowledge that certain Zoanoids' strength = a certain number of humans' strength? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 you got it yeah it's the unit usually used by takaya-sensei. 1 unit = 1 man. the acronym I used 'mltpl' is 'multiples of human strength'. so as it says in the manga, guyver has the strength of 100 men. Quote
Bio-Boosted Dude Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Righto! Also I like your character descriptions for various characters - Agito Makashima. We DONT LIKE HIM. I AGREE! 1 Quote
