I honestly don't have a huge idea of where I would go if something like 28 Days Later or Dawn of The Dead were to happen. I know I'd have to find safe ground and its not just the zombies I'd be worried about. It'd be someone killing me and taking my stuff. I don't own a gun anymore. I know if there were zombies, the military and the whole nation would be in chaos and be trying to contain it. In general; The sh*t would hit the fan!  Its an interesting subject. I guess I'd head for Canada or find a Fallout shelter to go to. Stay away from the cities and wear a lot of padding that way some zombie couldn't get a bite off. I'd carry a Katana as my melee weapon to hack off a few zombie heads and a few hand guns. Nothing heavy to slow me down. I wonder if the military bases weren't over run and I'd have to get with a safe group of people who won't try to kill me that way I could have a bigger chance to survive. But I don't think until we experience something like this will we truely know who our friends are or how long we'll live. I think if something this terrible happened. A lot of people would suffer and die horrible deaths. I would feel as if it were the end of the world as we know it. I know Zombies don't exist, but if something like that existed and actually started to happen . What actions would you take?

There's so much zombie stuff out there, but at least as far as discussing how they're portrayed in fiction and fantasy, there are familiar tropes.

 

In particular, two PC games give some stuff about zombies.  DayZ has it so zombies are vulnerable to firearms and other weapons, kinda like Resident Evil.  In Postal 2 (which parodies a lot of the pre-2006 zombie stuff), mad cow disease caused a zombie outbreak and they only die if their brain is destroyed.

 

There was also this huge special program on the History Channel a while back about zombies in popular culture and theorizing on what could happen if zombies were real.

 

Thankfully, as far as we know, zombies aren't real, but legends about them date back quite a while, including stories of voodoo curses and similar folklore.

Yeah, I've watched The Walk Dead. What is weird is that they are carrying the virus that turns you into a zombie. So if you die of natural causes. You turn anyway. Which is weird. I thought it was only if you got bit.

Then that's sort like the Postal 2 zombies that were introduced in the expansion Apocalypse Weekend, and later included in A Week in Paradise and Steam Postal 2. Mad cow disease spread and caused a zombie outbreak. Some people survived as normal, some became zombies that were nearly immortal unless their head was destroyed.

In general, zombies do have similar traits, but how they form and what their weaknesses are differ based on interpretation.

I have the advantage of being in Australia, so I could stay barricaded up at the farm I live on now, or head to my girlfriend's parent's farm which is so isolated, that no zombies would ever make it there.

 

But, then there's the whole 'no fun' part

And the apparently real-life fear of a 'zombie apocalypse'... it beggars belief.

How about Zombies in Guyver? If that were to happen, there's quite a few dudes and one woman that I be on their side in a fight. Could you imagine Shizu using Griselda's hair blades slashing apart zombies?

Or, how about zombie Zoanoids? We kinda already have zombie Guyvers with the Guyver armor's SDM.

That'd be pretty cool if Cronos made a zombie virus and infected a bunch of zoanoids and humans with it to try and kill Sho and Agito to disable their ability to bioboost. Not like a zombie could call on the armor.
