I wanted to make a poll, so we could vote who was our favorite character. I tried to put as many characters as I could that came to mind.  I'm sorry if you have more than one character that you favor. But the poll only allows one vote per person. So enjoy and have fun.

I think that most people here might know who my favorite is based on my profile pic, and in the other anime/manga character thread, I spelled out these reasons:

 

"She's beautiful, smart, is a fighter, stands for fidelity, excellent example of a female leader and doesn't sink down to stereotypical male leadership examples. Is the polar opposite of her boyfriend Agito though she assist him in anyway she can. She's also kind and compassionate, sort of again the polar opposite of Agito.

I also like Mizuki and Natsuki, but Shizu is my favorite of the women from Guyver."

My top 3:

1) Guyver 2 - mainly because of his design and cool battle between Guyvers in 12ep OVA

2) Richard Guyot - I just hope he knows what he's doing, not like the first time when he thought that he can outsmart Alkanphel

3) Alkanphel - he can blow up planets!

She's on the list as Shizu Onuma/ Griselda. She's awesome. I would have voted for her if I could vote more than once. But I voted for Richard Guyot.   He's one of my top favorites out of Guyver.

Well it goes without saying really dosent it, Waferdanos.

 

Why do I like him, in a story filled with intresting characters they dont get more intresting then the guy whos actualy a whole sentient forest compress into a human form, he's loyal, has cool powers, hes one of 5 or 6 characters to get any back story, is willing to put his life on the line for what importent to him, and he gets a small but nice character arc thrown in to. What more could I want?

Since I've seen Shizu wear heels a couple of times in the manga, wouldn't it be neat if she took a pair of stilettos and stabbed and managed to seriously or critically injure a zoanoid with them. Or should she just use her hair blades? Random question, but one I felt like asking...

I know that I asked this before in it's own topic, but what about the girls of Guyver?  Shizu already has my vote, but what's the general feeling on the ladies of Guyver?  I'm fascinated with them personally

I like Guyver 4. She's awesome. I like the design of her Guyver design and how well she uses it. I personally find it cool how she and Shizu fought.

Chernaudi, did you like that fight at the mansion between Guyver 4 and Griselda?

Sort of. I think that Shizu could've done more damage if she wasn't having to keep her eyes on so many balls--the Libertus, Mizuki/Tetsuro/Natsuki, Guyot and Val. She was kinda overwhelmed and outnumbered, but Val herself still came out on the losing end, even with how many injuries that Griselda had. Shizu found the weak spot and exploited it to take Val out of the fight, though she was also not a major factor in future events herself in the process.

I'm actually more interested in that though all the females are attractive, they're not just window dressing and they help to advance the plot of the story. Shizu is a badass/badass bookworm, Natsuki is the bookworm, Mizuki is Sho's rock. I sort of don't like Val a ton compared to the other major female characters. She may be a badass and intelligent, but she seems kinda snotty, seems like a villain, and it seems that her nude scenes are more of the fanservice type. If Val as a protagonist and a bit less snotty/stuck up, I'd probably like her more.

Mizuki is pretty, but she's naive and self centered, or was. But I didn't like how she didn't pay Sho any respect at the beginning of the anime or the manga. She just treated him horribly at the beginning and always blew him off when it didn't have anything to do with the school council. I liked how Tetsuro kept pushing for them to start dating. Thats the thing about Tetsuro. He's the one person in the entire series that really cares about Sho and has been there for him no matter what. He's the most loyal friend you could want. Even if it regards his own safety. He's willing to go anywhere with Sho no matter what. I really like him.

Mizuki however....really liked Agito at the beginning until Shizu made her appearance and told her the story of how she came to serve Agito as her master. So I think after that and realizing Murakami didn't have much longer to live, Mizuki started focusing more on Sho as a love interest. But I think She's grown up a lot and accepted things more. Like the fact of the creators and the guyver units and how man kind was designed as an experiment. She's come around a lot.
