This thread is to discuss anything regarding Pokemon be it the games or the anime in general, for starters lets discuss which is your favorite generation, pokemon, etc... if you have a Pokemon version feel free to post your friend codes so we can share and trade what we have. I for one am a very casual pokemon player, I come and go from time to time, depending on my mood, never really battled or traded with many people, have been a fan since the series started along side with DBZ.

My favorite pokemons are:

My favorite Generation is Gen 2 due to it been the most complete of the series.

I'm a Gen 1 kind of guy. Grew up on it.

 

Favourite Pokemon is Scyther, followed by Mewtwo.

 

My team of 6 of R/B/Y usually consisted of the following:

 

Blastoise (or Vaporeon, alternatively)

Nidoking

Mewtwo

Scyther

Arcanine

Zapdos

I grew up with gen 1 as well but I prefer gen 2 more, it had a lot of epic battles, specially against Red in Mt. Silver.

Grew up on Gen 1 and I wanted to get back in during Gen 5, but they didn't make the third copy.

 

I wanted my Michael Jackson version.

 

Hopefully they make Pokemon Z instead of Pokemon X2 and Y2.

i was just checking out the Serebii recently and they showed the image of a pokemon that is possibly a new form of mewtwo or evolution, I like the design in my opinion, what do you guys think?

For me, I looks like a Mew that grown in size and maturity, but not as mature as Mewtwo.

 

Plus, I would think Game Freak make Mewtwo evolution-stuck because of his clone status.

Well it's supposed to tie in with the new movie... So I guess we'll all just have to watch it to find out what it is!

I hope it isn't just a "Mewthree", but I also don't really know how a new Mewtwo form would work or why it would exist.

A new Mew form makes a bit more sense. I dunno how I would feel about him getting a full fledged evolution though

I think Serebii stated recently that it's a new form for Mewtwo now, which I think is just pathetic.  Mewtwo is badass the way he is so he shouldn't need a new form.

Well, that does go along with my theory of it being a evolution of Mew, but I would never it Mewtwo and Game Freaks shouldn't either. IMO it would be the natural evolution of Mew.

 

Mewtwo is just a genetically augmented clone of Mew.

 

If they did call it Mewtwo, that would be stupid.

Mewtwo is a genetic clone of mew but it is still a living being so in my opinion it would not be too hard to believe that he has an alternate form or evolution so he clearly has the potential for that no matter how overkill it may be. XD

the trailer for the new pokemon has arrived with the reveal of the mewtwo form that we where disusing, there is something that is bugging me tho, apparently Mewtwo has a female voice on this movie which confuses me cause I remember him having a male voice in the japanese version, my only theory to this is that maybe a female psychic is communicating through mewtwo, I can't really make out what the female voice is saying since I'm still learning so can somebody else translate the parts where the female voice is talking through mewtwo? (I know the last thing that the voice said "this is the final attack" I think )here is the link

after hearing it a few times I think mewtwo is saying something along the lines that the genesect are made by humans like him, not very sure. the last line is the definitely "this is the last attack" or something like that.

OK, this is a long shot, but what if, instead of an evolution, it's more like a form shift that Mewtwo learns how to do, similar to those of Deoxys, Kyurem and Shaymin?  It'd be interesting if it was like that.

Well, that is what mewtwo is doing, a form shift similar to Shaymin and Giratina, it was already confirmed by serebii, now I don't know what kind of changes this form gives stat wise but I'm guessing maybe an increase in Speed and Special attack perhaps, don't know if it will give him an additional type like with Shaymin, we will just have to see when they reveal more about him later.
