lost unit Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Has anybody recently looked at the Guyver wiki its the best source of guyver info i have seen anywhere alot of hard work has been put in by Ryuki but most people just jump straight to the forum to check out new posts.Im helping Ryuki to try and get merchandise page completed.i have now upload all the chinese Daran manga covers and and the Italian Star comic covers except for three which were in one of my last posts. I am currently collecting pictures of the models and figures i already have a load to sort through and will take a bit of time but will get there in the end.In addition to this i may need help with pictures this is where you can put your input, i know most of you guys have a nice collection of guyver merchandise some big and some small, most of us have a scanner or digital camera who can help help fill in the missing pieces that i can't get. Sometimes its nice to put a picture next to an listed item so you can think to yourself i would like to get that looks good. i dont ask for alot but will be asking you guys for help in the near future with images. If you think im asking too much just say. Lets keep this guyver site interesting and complete as much as we can. I will keep everyone updated with any changes that i make. For the people already helped like Durendal ,V guyver and other guys who have helped out thanks for your contributions. Quote
Aether Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 (edited) goodob! to everyone who has contributed to the wiki. its true it does get overlooked, but it is great to have when you need to look something up, its full of a lot of great info. on the italian pictures - try going to amazon.it and search ' guyver n. ' top results should be the recent books, you might at least get some thumbnail images. Edited February 17, 2013 by Aether Quote
durendal Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I dare anyone to say that there is another English website out there that has more comprehensive information on Guyver than the one hosted here. I put a lot of effort researching (more like copying ) and organizing the structure of the wiki. I'm glad that the years I've spent on building the content of wiki wasn't wasted. I hope you guys don't find my post to be arrogant, but I've really spent a lot of time with that and it's good to know that your work is finally being appreciated. Now if only someone would also continue my work on the Kamen Rider wiki. I haven't updated those for a while now. 1 Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 indeed, I don't feel like I have done a lot of work on the wiki when compared to what Durendal has done. Ok, so I did initialise the layout and put a lot of foundation in. I did guide some areas and constructed some of the pages with the manga images etc. but the actual content is most important and that was mostly put there by other people. Zoanoid and character bios, v-guyver has done some good original work on those, and .... I can't find the person now, but another person was trying to encourage people to write character bios. I have a sense for who it is... I know i will kick myself when I realise who it was. but that person did help to motivate some other members to contribute. was it alpha omega? was it larz? was it odin? was it mirabilis? damn, I cannot recall. hmm... i think it was mirabilis. yes that is feeling correct. It is the members who make this site. that is the best thing about the wiki. if it is just one person contributing, it is limited. with more people, more stuff can be done. Quote

*Jess♥ Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 the topic title probably doesn't help you in searching for covers. might be best to make a thread with the request clearly in the title. it might take a while too. who knows who has what? Quote
