Mirabilis Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) This was really amazing and true I was glad to finally see an actual form of media protraying these feelings and emotions. I'm curious as to how this has impacted you and what are your thoughts on this?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpn0vh2Rj0Y Edited December 16, 2013 by Mirabilis 1 Quote
*Jess♥ Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I watched it all the way through. Gripping. Quote
LordSpleach Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Problem is, more people are listening to the other two sitting next to Jeff Daniels' character. More people need to wake up! 1 Quote
Mirabilis Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) Exactly America is becoming more and more like Rome by the second. The people are more involved in fighting over pointless political correctness and mute problems instead of focusing on fixing the economy, and trying to pay off our debt. We shouldn't be focusing on if gay marriage is okay, or if we should legalize weed we should focus on more important things like making sure our children will have a future and turning our economy back around. Not raise taxes on the people and do cut backs on the middle class but do cut backs on foreign aid, stop taking so many imports and start making more exports. I dunno we could fix this situation if we truly wanted to only thing is the Federal Reserve and higher ups want to make the system collapse so they can make different changes for us all. *Jess♥ Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 making weed legal is a good debate though. if you made cannabis a legal product, it can be regulated and taxed. And that will completely wipe out the current spending on the 'war on drugs' if they instead regulate the drugs, turning expenditure into income. 1 Quote
LordSpleach Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Mirabilis, the middle class isn't getting cutbacks. In fact it's disappearing. Plus, the new war on guns is having me worried that we might become the Fourth Reich. Quote
Mirabilis Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 I know the middleclass is vanishing more and more, and unless your rich you're to stupid to understand politics and can't be elected as someone to run a campaign. I believe I've shown other videos before over the years about how America is setting things up for intentional good reasons but could very easily be used and abused for bad reasons. It's only a matter of time before something major happens it might not be in two-six years, it might be within 20-30 years but I'm sure it will. Quote
Mirabilis Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) I've heard from both sides why or why not weed should become legalized and how it would simply benefit America, however I just think there is too much time spent on debates like that. They should (the people and politicians) spend more time on the true problems at hand when the economy crashes nobodies going to be concerned with if weed is legal or if evolution should be taught in school. Those things should be put on the shelf for now and the people need to come together and come up with solutions to fixing this crisis that is going to change the world at least it's what I think. *Jess♥ Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 yeah of course you're right, the petty politics is too much. but what can you do? the fat cats are running scared. they are afraid they'll lose control if you actually start dealing with issues and getting on to the real meat. I'm commenting on a youtube video currently that illustrates perfectly just how broken the system is. it perplexes me how they can be so stupid to not see how they are making education inaccessible and wasting government funds.
