January 15, 201313 yr Hey Guys, I'm getting sick and tired of this glitchy software and I am sure a lot of you are as well. I've tried getting assistance with these issues and tried to fix them myself. it just seems IPB is sub standard software. I want to buy a V-Bulletin license. I've been looking at the license page and the price is $250. I don't currently have $250 spare so I want to ask you guys if you can help to raise the funds. I can set up a paypal and I can keep you updated on what the fund total is. The current Forum would be converted into v-bulletin. no posts would be lost and we would all gain access to additional features. The release schedule of v-bulletin is different and each upgrade is accompanied with full support from them so if any issues arise, it wouldn't be just me trying to figure it out.
January 16, 201313 yr Author you know the software that we currently use for a forum? this is IPB. V-Bulletin is a different software to run a forum, but it does much more and is far superior. you know those errors that people are getting that shows strange code when they post? that won't happen for a start.
