*YoungGuyver Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 could have sworn I started a thread related to this already... oh well. Can't find it.

Time for a Transformers Prime character status list:
Autobots-
Optimus Prime-Active
Ratchet-Active
Arcee-Active
Bulkhead-Disabled list
Bumblebee-Active
Smokescreen-Active
Wheeljack-Rogue
Cliffjumper-KIA
Seaspray-KIA
Alpha Trion-Unknown
Tailgate-KIA

Humans-
Jack-Active
Miko-Active
Raphael-Relocated
Fowler-Active
Cylus-Deceaced

Decepticons-
Megatron-Active
Starscream-Active
Dreadwing-KIA
Shockwave-Unknown
Skyquake-KIA
Makeshift-KIA
Kockout-Disabled
Aracknid-POW
Breakdown-KIA
Hardshell-KIA
Soundwave-Active Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 Since the latest episode (Inside Job), I've changed the status of Knockout, Smokescreen, and Starscream. Cool episode. They really had Starscream rogue for quite a while. I'm considering changing Bulkheads status back, but I'm not too sure. They really made a big deal about him almost dying, and then suffering from neurological damage that may be permanent. Though his mobility is returning, we're still seeing him be held in reserve. I'll see more episodes to watch how he's used. My personal props to Smokescreen, for most creative use of a phase shifter. Combat has never been more interesting. It was fun to watch Geordi and Ro phase shift in stng, but this takes it to a whole new level. Quote
odin Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 At first I did not care much about TF prime cause of the bayformer designs but after giving it the benefit of the doubt It managed to convince me, I like how they keep expanding the Transformers mythos with the introduction of the relics and different energons. I also like that each character even the humans are useful and not annoying with the exception of miko, they did a great job showing how Bee and Prime are awesome and each character keeps growing in their own way, even prime who I thought would stay the same has shown more personality as the series progresses and is a bit more rough than before. My favorite Cons are probably Dreadwing and Soundwave, I don't like Megatron that much for not being as ruthless as possible I mean after one simple "backstab" from Arachnid she is to be immediately killed but spares Starscream multiple time? either he is a very good double agent or they really are lovers. XD One thing that I keep scratching my head is why is soundwave not the second in command since he is clearly the only one Megs trusts and the one who has done the most, maybe is to just keep him as his ninja but who knows. over all this is a great series which in my opinion surpasses Beastwars and I can't wait for more......still waiting for Jazz to appear tho, he is my favorite bot. I want to see Ironhide as well. Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted October 17, 2012 Author Posted October 17, 2012 I see a few of the Iacon relics being things from other transformer series. The Star Saber was in Head Masters, Apex Armor in Master force, Omega Key from the WFC Game. Not sure about the phase shifter and Hammer of Solarice Prime. strangely enough, my favorite episode of season 2 is a Miko episode. She wasn't annoying, it was emotionally charged. Quote
odin Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) It was a good and touching episode but I still don't like her for some reason. Edited October 17, 2012 by odin Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 Just heard two conflicting rumors. One, that season 3 is on 16 eps and will be the last. Two, that there will be a season 4. Also heard that season 3 is going to be 'Beast Hunters'? Weird, but ok. At least everything looks like they are going back to Cybertron for a bit. Quote
odin Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 yea I heard they are going back to cybertron, still waiting for jazz to appear, the latest episode was pretty cool for a recap episode, it showed a bit more about the relationship between starscream and Megs and the conflicting emotions that dreadwing has after all the hard work he has done, I really hope he goes Autobot, it would be stupid if he didn't . Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted October 23, 2012 Author Posted October 23, 2012 I'm not sure about that. The Autobots did kill his brother. The only problem he has with the Decepticons is that Starscream took his brothers corpse and turned it into a Zombie. The only problem I could see him having is wanting Starscream's head on a platter. Would he betray Megatron for forgiving Starscream? Betray the rest of the Decepticon cause? They are about the restore their home world. Don't get me wrong, I can see him being on the edge of it story wise, they've been suggesting it. But the actual motivation seems a bit week to me. Yeah, this is one of the better recap episodes. Much better than Agent Fowler and the General (though they managed to get the Unicorn in there) Quote
Salkafar Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 The difference is that the Autobots are his enemies. If your brother, a warrior, clashes with an Autobot, also a warrior, and perishes, you might want to avenge him, but you won't be insanely furious, because, after all, there is a war on. But if it turns out your then-commander defiled his corpse, and your current commander, whom you worship, decides to cover it up because aformentioned despicable individual might be of some use to him, you just might feel a little betrayed - especially since the people you think of as your enemies have never treated you with such disdain. I think Dreadwing just might be wondering whether he is actually on the right side. Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 And so we lay Dread Wind to rest. He was a fine soldier. He killed Seaspray. Let us remember his many great deeds and failures next up, the finale of season 2 Quote
Salkafar Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Man, this is the darkest hour. Is there anyone who thinks Optimus might really be dead? Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 I'm a bit disappointed. We just got to Cybertron again, and again we are so fast back on Earth. I love some of the things they accomplished in the episode, such as the new base, and a little destruction. But they disabled Optimus in the last season finale. Can't it be someone else this time? And after such a build up to the omega keys, they get destroyed almost immediately after turning them on. I think this episode would have been better as a multiparter. It feels too rushed for me Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted April 6, 2013 Author Posted April 6, 2013 Well, season 3 is here, and the first 3 episodes have been aired. And, we have new permanent cast members added to the list, including the return of Shockwave, The pacing is pretty good, and is a great start to the season. This may be the last season, which is sad considering the potential I see for it, but I at least like how it is building so far. And the toys are already on shelves, so it looks like Optimus may survive, and be reformatted into a flat front semi. We'll see. Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 Just updated to add ULTRA F+#%$ MAGNUS to the active duty roster! And to have George Takei voice Alpha Trion is nice. Sulu is the mentor of Optimus and Smokescreen Quote
*Jess♥ Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 that trailer looks good. I've been taking a break from anime and japanese drama. maybe I'll give this a chance. I'll talk to me mate about it today, maybe we'll watch the first episode and see how it is. it does look like a quality show. Quote
Salkafar Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Well... then it's probably best to watch the first five episodes of the first season as one movie, "Darkness rising". Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 A warning though, episode 6 sucks. The other episodes are fine after that, and halfway through the season they start building again to the season finale, which is like a second movie. Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 Possible Spoiler junk So in the last ep of the season 3 premiere, Op returned. Did he seem a little quiet to anyone? He almost sounded half dead to me. Granted, coming back from the brink of death must be traumatic. It would kind of be cool of Op were part Zombie, only extending his life until Smokescreen is ready for the mantle. Any thoughts? Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 Just love the Apex armor on a human. Who knew? Totally kick ass Quote
odin Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) I have to say, this series is the best transformers incarnation I have seen so far, I would definitely recommend it to anybody, saw the last episode of the last season today and it left me on the edge of my seat, supposedly there is going to be an epilogue movie released in October detailing what happens after season 3 which is good but I hope they don't do more than that, this series ended on a very good note, it is a shame I did not get to see my favorite bot Jazz on this season but I guess it is for the best, they really wanted to give some spotlight to Smokescreen. Edited July 27, 2013 by odin Quote
*YoungGuyver Posted July 31, 2013 Author Posted July 31, 2013 I want this to go on. I'm hoping the tv movie thing continues for a while. Agreed, this was the best Quote
