something I have been working on for a few weeks now.

after losing my hard disk and most of my data, I've gotten back up to speed and decided it's probably best if I start distributing instead of holding back.

I present to you my project, Naruto Kai.

I wanted a condensed version of naruto anyway because there is too much padding in many of the anime episodes. I never thought I would have the patience to edit it myself but then i discovered a way to do it with vdubmod. no encoding necessary. this means i can edit it in a reasonable amount of time.

The editing is not perfect. if anyone wants to criticise the editing, they are welcome to do a better job.

I basically went through the manga and the anime at the same time, cutting and rearranging where possible. sometimes the anime is shifted around a fair bit and has lots of filler, so there is a lot of edits required at times. other times there are no edits.

this actually sounds like a really itneresting idea ryuki.

i would be particularly interested in shippuuden episodes. the reason i stopped watching the anime was because of the filler, and when i discovered they began mixing filler storylines into canon episodes rather than seperating them out into arcs i grew absolutely sick of the anime. who's stupid idea was that!?

i will give one of your episodes a download in the near future though and give some feedback!

yeah, well actually that wasn't a new thing for shippuuden.

there is filler in lots of episodes I just think people weren't as aware of it until the really bad shippuuden episodes.

for example, the fight with zabuza, the first one, the whole thing with the water shaped like dragons, that was filler crap.

most of naruto's interactions with konohamaru was filler crap. all the material featuring shikamaru et al, was filler crap.

up to now, I've turned 19 episodes into 11.

Ah yes, well I know about THAT kind of filler. padding out fights and stuff. i'm okay with that most of the time, especially if it's entertaining.

but in shippuuden I'm talking about filler story lines and were completely made up that had been mixed in with relevant story points. Like that stupid made up ghost story in the middle of naruto's training and around the same time the Three Tails was being seen for the first time. Those are the stupid mix ups I'm talking about. This is where i stopped watching. it must've been episode 68 or something like that

i remember that. so that was mixed up with canon? I didn't realise.

I guess i'll find out when i get to those episodes. I haven't read the manga before.... i think when sasuke goes to the 5 kage summit.

I'm going to try and aim to release one every saturday.
