by the way if you think a different colour would look better or something, just say so because this is easily adjustable.

i don't guarantee i will change it but i won't be offended if you would prefer a lilac background or something.

While maybe not lilac, I do think another back ground colour may look good since the dark/black is very standard. Perhaps the red of his crystal?

actually the red would really improve the colour balance now that i think about it.

to be honest when i did the background i had been working for over 7 hours so kinda in a hurry. :mrgreen:

Not bad, not bad. I think the red does look good. The black definitely has appeal but it's very similar to a lot of other signature images while the red adds that bit of difference to make the image stand out a bit more.
