Is it just me, or are the riders starting to evolve into Sentai (design-wise)?

Gone are the times when the riders are actually artificial humans rebelling against their evil masters.

yeah i have also said this numerous times.

now you are saying it, that adds strength to the argument.

I strongly believe kamen rider is changing to fill the demographic that sentai used to fill.

I've noticed that, much more with the more recent series. Although to be honist I havn't watched as much as of them so I didn't comment on it. OOOs feels about the closest so far though. I do wish they would do one that is a bit closer too the original Rider concept and it be more what the character is made into not just some magic mcguffin. Although that no doubt apeals too kids more.

I'm not sure if any series has strayed from that core concept.

I personally hadn't considered it that way.

- When the capsule on the chest is Red, the Breast Cannon is activated.

- Green on the right arm is the Crane Arm.

- Blue on the right hand is the the Drill Arm.

- Orange left hand is Shovel Arm.

- Purple legs are Caterpillar Legs.

- Yellow back is Cutter Wings.

And here we have TaJaDoru form (all red) and ShaUTa form (all blue)... Reminiscent of Guyver perhaps?

Still haven't seen RaToraTa form (all yellow) though...

I'm thinking about Kamen Rider G3 looking at this guy.

it is a similar style isn't it, sort of machinery like, compared to kamen rider ooo which is not so machinery like.

Really? I was thinking more along the lines of a robotic version of Ryuuki and/or Ryuuga. But his theme also reminds me of that of IXA from Kiva. Like how IXA was a more tech themed version of Kiva's Rider system and powes.

But it seems Kamen Rider is really starting to go all Metal Hero on us with the secondary Riders.

Looks like we're getting a Turtle Yummy. Not sure what this other feline Yummy is.

TaJaDoru & ShaUTa has an homage to this two characters from Chojin Bibyun, one of the Shotaro Ishinomori masterpiece.

Bibyun = TaJaDoru and Bashaan = ShaUTa

I think the combo is hawk, peacock and condor. Hawk = TAka, peacock = kuJAku and condor = konDORU

The combined symbol on the chest is a phoenix

Hawk is obvious since since it's the Core Head Medal Eiji uses the most. Ja might be Peacock because the Japanese name for it is Kujaku.
