indeed, btw, what is your favorite funny scene in one piece? mine is the whole restaurant scene in arabasta where Ace falls asleep while eating, smoker appears then luffy knocks them both out of the rstaurant making a whole without noticing and then smoker appears and luffy keeps eating while he speaks and when he FINALLY remembers who he was he just eats and runs XD that scene alone made me fall to the ground laughing for minutes and i still find it very funny

I think my favorite was when Duval told the Strawhats his sad story of mistaken identity. A close second is when Luffy is right at the edge of Impel Down looking for a way to escape when Ivankov's giant head bursts underneath them. The look on Ivankov's face was priceless. I loved Ivankov and am very sad he had to leave.

As for other scenes, I have a bunch of favorites.

1st would be during Luffy vs Crocodile Round3; when Luffy slams his stretched fist into crocodile's head and slams him into the stone floor.

2nd would be the Shishi Sonson that Zoro did to damage Kuma (by far one of zoro's most epic moments EVER)

3rd would be when Luffy crashed over the Marines' wall and prepared to face the three admirals by himself

4th would be when Luffy punched Blackbeard. PWNED!

Sorry about this. but going back to the hakki discussion, I will have to insist that Sanji might have a chance of acquiring it. Even though it is specifically stated that Sanji wants to learn cuisine, the other condition of the Okama is that Sanji has to beat a lot of cross dressers to be able to learn it. Thus, this cooking is mixed with martial arts training. I'm pretty sure that Ivanko, judging from the abilities he (she) has shown so far, is able to utilize hakki to some degree.

I think only Luffy will learn Haki!

As I was pondering about their (haki related)abilities, I've come to conclusion that Oda probably wants to show us how people learn haki. And he will use the crew for that objective.

Take for example:

Zoro, we'll probably learn MAD sword skillz.

but because he's learning from mihawk, he probably won't learn haki.

Mihawk, has never dealt haki slashes, but he does have his swordsmanship to keep him on par with the rest.

And it would be wonderful for zoro to learn haki in one piece part 2, because you would really then see what is necessary to learn haki colours. "plus" it's a strength that can be obtained by training it, so he could have something to grow on(strength-wise).

Well we can't say anything as far as Mihawk and haki. We have to remember that Mihawk has never been shown on camera doing a haki slash. During the battle at the summit Mihawk tried to slash a paramecia type DF user (Whitebeard and Luffy), so haki wasn't needed to slice him. So when Jose blocked the slash, it didn't pierce him, but it might have if Mihawk tossed haki into it. You don't think the greatest swordsman in the world can't use haki? Even Whitebeard's division commanders could use haki to a small form, Mihawk is one of the strongest Shichibukai...

Now I agree Mihawk probably wouldn't teach Zoro haki, but he will give him the skills necessary to learn it in the new world.

Finally, as much as I love him, I don't think Ivankov can teach Sanji haki. Ivankov's main form of attack is his "Wink" style attacks which are primarily air cannons similar to Franky's coup de vent. Against all of the non-solid DF users like Magellan, his attacks were merely a means to buy time and force the enemy back via large force. Although now that I think about it more, this could be haki...alright maybe Sanji can learn haki kicks from Ivankov...

Well, Sanji does indeed say that he has no intention of learning Newkama Kempo, so the chance of us seeing him using that style is really low. But that doesn't mean he won't be able to learn a few new tricks when battling the masters for the ingredient of the attack cuisine. I just can't remember if he already knew Diablo when he first met Luffy or he managed to learn it along the way.

Also, we never really did see the other stronger shichibukai fight seriously, so we can't say for sure if all of them are capable of Hakki of some degree. But even Boa and her people, not as strong as the other pirates, is able to utilize hakki. So this gives us the impression that everyone can learn Hakki. It just so happens that Luffy is a special case as his type of hakki is the most rare.

Remember, there are different levels to Hakki, and we are just familiar with the strongest Hakki. Luffy may learn the strongest, while the other straw hats crew might be able to learn the lowest level of hakki. I'm guessing at least to the level that they can deal with Sentoumaru.

I think they'll learn the attack form of haki since of the 3 types, its the most often used. Only the real strong guys like Aokiji use the defense haki as demonstrated against Whitebeard. Although I can't confirm if what I just said is true though since Aokiji could've just used his Logia defense powers like Kizaru can.

Wow, not sure I like Franky's new look but everyone else looks cool. I'm sure everything will work out but its good to see One Piece still has a lot of life planned ahead for it.

Indeed, i just saw a picture of the new Ussop and frankly he looks totally bad ass, I am not fond of franky being bald i loved his Hair style, it was SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I am curious how luffy got that scar tho. i am very anxious now

Kidding aside, Sanji looking much manlier leaves me more worried that he might be a closet kama. Especially seeing those laces up his sleeves. Having to imagine what he's been through.

Indeed, we're all looking forward to tomorrow when they resume One Piece.

CRAP!!! One Piece 598 is out and I can't get it because I have to work overnight tonight. CRAP!! But I got a glimpse of the raw and looks like somethings happening in Shabody archipelago already. Unfortunately, no sighting of Zoro yet.

Well, it's been two years, anybody is expected to change in that span of time. Really big mistake for fatboy.

I can predict that Luffy will just ignore this, but fatboy makes the biggest mistake of damaging luffy's food. You don't want to mess with this pirate and his food.

I am very surprised that Luffy learned everything that reyligh had to teach him meaning that luffy will not even have to lift a finger against "Fluffy" (lol) he will just use the color of the conqueror and knock him down , what I am really surprised is that ZORRO actually got there first i guess Mihawk really is a miracle worker.

What I want to see is who the new Fleet Admiral is, because I remember Sengoku recommend Aokiji, but no one mentioned his name. I wonder if it maybe Akainu? You know a new aggressive face to take down Blackbeard and the new era of pirates

I just want to see the crew together already, the suspense is killing me, and i can't believe that Chopper did not recognized that the guys with him is not his real crew, with his keen sense of smell and all you'd think that he should be able to tell that they where fakes even if he did not remember their appearance well. and i envy ussop right now with that hug that nami gave him, he went where no male straw hat has gone before

btw, even if zorro has to beat sanji in everything one thing that was constant and i really liked was his terrible sense of direction and when i read that zorro got to the boat before everybody i just fell to the ground in shock I was like: is that really zorro?!
