Bobby Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I don't like downloading the videos. Just watching them on the site. But I would like to see TV-Nihon's forum since I'm part of Order Of Zeronos where the head administrator is gonna be posting my Mega Kamen Rider Quiz next week!!! Some questions are about Double. Quote
Mike123 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I think Double's writing has been very excellent. The way they're connecting Phillip to Sonozaki and how Narumi Agency fits in all of this. If they could make it that Sonozaki aren't really the main villains, but just some minor henchmen working for a greater evil, then that would be even more of a good twist. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 That would be a nice idea. Also, to see that Philip might be that little brother that Wakana was talking about or maybe a love relationship between Wakana and either Philip or Shotarou would be cool. Though to see Wakana's face when she see's Shotarou turn into Double would be priceless. The last episode though had two good things. we got to see Shotarou smack Akiko in the head with her pattented green slipper. We see Wakana mature as a character as she drops her Claydoll Gaia Memory and walks away from it, no longer wanting its power. Quote
Mike123 Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 (edited) Yes Toku Warrior, Phillip is that "little brother" that Wakana was talking about. If you check around episode 3-4, you can see that Phillip's childhood face is the same as that "little brother." Cool isn't it? I wonder what went wrong between Phillip and the family that caused Phillip to become an experiment. Possibly Sonozaki Sr. saw Phillip's potential, murdered his family, and kidnapped him? oh btw, I love your analysis about Wakana maturing. Edited December 16, 2009 by Mike123 Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 Thanks. BTW, put the otouto (Japanese for little brother) stuff in spoiler tags. Some of the toku lovers here, Ryuki especially, don't like having things they haven't seen yet spoiled for them unless they ask for summaries. Quote

I just figured out how to do it. lol. Do you watch the episodes raw or subbed? Edited December 16, 2009 by Mike123 Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 Both actually. I DL both types and keep both in seperate folders. I use the RAW format files for music videos. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 wow, some discussion about W? awesome. do you want me to move any posts into a W thread? or is it not necessary? good call about that spoiler toku warrior. I don't know what was said and i guess it is a good job! actually, I have no idea what you guys are saying, I just see some odd words that seem to be about W. maybe i should go past episode 10 if it is getting more interesting. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 We can put some of the discussion in there as well if it needs to be. As for what you're missing. We see Wakana mature more as a person around Eps.14. So, yes, watch a bit more past Eps.10. !1&12 are good but 13&14 are very well done with Wakana's character in mind. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 cool, i have not been at all passionate about W. maybe after watching these episodes maybe it will be different! Quote
Tales Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 We can put some of the discussion in there as well if it needs to be. As for what you're missing. We see Wakana mature more as a person around Eps.14. So, yes, watch a bit more past Eps.10. !1&12 are good but 13&14 are very well done with Wakana's character in mind. And Wakana is shattered to pieces.. Ouch! I also heard that she later abandons her Dopant Memory. I had long predicted that Wakana might give up being a Dopant and betray her family. But more awaits to be seen. Quote

But more awaits to be seen. shattered to pieces? have i had it spoiled? is this a spoiler thread now? can somebody send me a PM please. I don't think it's safe for me to read anymore. please continue to discuss. I'm glad that people are discussing W now. I just wish there was a bit more warning before that possible spoiler. no worries, it's too late now. it's my own fault for being in a W thread. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 Okay people, It's time we made a major rule here. When a new episode of Kamen Rider W (Double) airs, we are to place any and all info discussions in spoiler tags. Once a sub group, like TV-Nihon and/or Order of Zeronos, release that episode in subbed format then you can continue the talk without spoiler tags. This way, it will be more user friendly for our members who may not want to know everyting off hand. Also, keep any and all rumors about futher future events for this series in the rumors and updates thread for Kamen Rider W (Double). Thank you for your cooperation. Toku Warrior and Japan-Legend staff. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 great stuff toku warrior. tales was not at fault with the shattered statement as I believe that is at the end of an episode that TVN have subbed. I haven't watched up to recent episodes so it is simply bad luck that i stumbled upon this information. Quote
Mike123 Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Great heads up again Toku-warrior. So when do you guys think Accel will show up? Before episode 20 or after? Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 i just finished watching episode 12, it was very odd to see an old style british telephone box outside that church. and then right after that behind the desk was a picture of an old style london bus. mike, i think this 'accel' you talk about is classed as future discussion? isn't it ironic that you mention future material in response to toku warriors post about not saying future info in here Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 (edited) Ironic yes. And thanks for for everyones support in keeping this thread spoiler tag friendly. And to answer your question Mike, I think, IMO, sometime before Eps.20 since it's common Heisei practice to have the main secondary or thirdary Rider appear before the preverbial half way mark and before the 20's area of the series. IXA appeared by Eps.10. Diend appeared by Eps.10. Zeronos appeared before Eps.14. not sure with the Hibiki series Garren was alread there and Chalice was there by Eps.2-3. Leangle was there sometime after 20. Kaixa appeared before 15. Don't even bother with Ryuki. That one had Riders out the wazzu. Same with Kabuto as with Ryuki. Agito had all 3 Riders within the first 7 episodes. Another Agito before Eps.44. Kuuga technically had no secondary Rider. Edited December 18, 2009 by Toku Warrior Quote
Mike123 Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 (edited) lol, yes, I'm not sure it is more ironic or hypocritical. Maybe hypocritical if it's intentitional. Sometimes you just want to type stuff all in the same place to prevent going clicking a lot to go back. lol. But I seriously forgot about the future discussion. And great list Toku Warrior! We'll just leave future discussions and speculations in the other thread now. And Ryuki, I never noticed how much British-references there are. Probably cause of the scenes they use are from when British had a great influence in Japan back then. I wonder is this all part of their atmosphere-creation for the fictional city? Edited December 18, 2009 by Mike123 Quote
*Jess♥ Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 to be honest, I'm not aware of any period where british had great influence in japan. it was the americans who really influenced japanese culture to the extent that if they see any westerner they immediately assume that they are amerikajin. but yes, there are some places that are celebrating british culture. I know of a resort somewhere in japan called "british hills" Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 20, 2009 Author Posted December 20, 2009 Wow! eps.15 is really a shocking episode. It seems, from what I can understand, that the Sonazaki Kazoku see Philip as an obstacle now as he is what has caused Wakana to abandon her Claydoll Memory. So they are out to get him and we now get a glimps at a part of his past by Saeko revealing to him his true name. Light. Also, we FINALLY get to see the one thing we've been waiting for since it's announcment last month in Eps.16, next weeks episode. FANG-JOKER. Quote
Bobby Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 (edited) Actually, it's Raito. Edited December 20, 2009 by Bobby Quote
Mike123 Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 (edited) I agree. It's been an awesome episode with so much twists and turns. Ryubee is expecting new Dopant designs from Saeko, which she's sorry she hasn't completed yet. They are both on the hurry to exert their influence on the entire world. From Shotaro chasing down the Kamen Rider imposter to what's most shocking of all = what Saeko did. She welcomed the boy back into the family. Or is this some kind of twisted trick? Episode 15 Summary and Dopant information is up on W Fansite. But there's spoilers in there. But just to keep it short, my thought is up there^ Edited December 21, 2009 by Mike123 Quote
Bobby Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I've suspected for some time that Philippe's biological family was the Sonozaki Clan. As Agent Gibbs of NCIS would say, it's something in my gut that told me. Quote
Toku Warrior Posted December 21, 2009 Author Posted December 21, 2009 Actually, it's Raito. Bobby, Raito is the Japanese pronunciation of the word 'Light'. It's easily noticable in such series like Death Note where Light's name is pronounced the exact same way. It's just the romaji - Japanese saying of an English word. Quote
Mike123 Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 (edited) Just saw Phillip's real name - "Raito" written in the kanji of - "Next Person" or "Coming Person." It has nothing to do with Light, Wright, or Right, unless we see it as "The Person Coming Right now" since Phillip is known as the "Child of Destiny." "From Episode 17 onward, the Sonozaki family will reveal its true horror!" Edited December 21, 2009 by Mike123 Quote
