August 31, 20214 yr Is it possible Viz still has the rights to Guyver? Or would they need to re-license it just like they did with Fist of the North Star? I remember reading the Viz scans and the last one said something like: “Guyver is going on a hiatus. We’ll see you in the funny papers!” which was awkward especially since they never returned to it. I’ve tried to inquire to Viz about the manga and one time they answered. They said more or less they want to expand their library but it would take time. I tried again they re-licensed Fist of the North Star but they didn’t respond this time. I hope one day this manga will be in print in English again.

June 6, 20223 yr I've emailed them in the past and emailed them again after reading this. I have played with the idea for years of starting a Patreon and getting fans together to find and get the licence and get them translated and released. I read the translated chapters up to a certain point but I don't think anything after was translated after 189 (which I think is where we get volume 31 and 32 after). I would buy the English manga in a heartbeat if it was re released.

Unfortunately, VIZ no longer publishes Bio Booster Armor Guyver. If you'd like to suggest Guyver to be published again in the future, we are currently accepting series suggestions over on our contact page here: https://www.viz.com/company-contact Simply select "Series Suggestion" from the drop down menu and you will be brought to a form where you can suggest any series you’d love to see VIZ publish! So I'm guessing they do? Either way I'm going put in a request via the link under Series Suggestions, wanted to share the details in case anyone wanted to do the same.
