Everyone has their own style when it comes to doing a color pallet. If you want to learn the best techniques for shading, I suggest you talk to Ryuki as he's really good at it.

As for choosing Blackfire as my model, there's a reason behind it.

I am currently a member over at fanfiction.net and one of my stories is called Ben 10 Forever. It's a x-over series with Ben 10/Teen Titans/Justice League Unlimited. I have it set a few years after a supposed ending of Ultimate Alien in the Ben 10 series, a few years after the end of the Teen Titan series and about a year after the end of JLU.

In the fanfic, Blackfire ends up falling for Ben and they later become an item. Her DNA will also become the basis for a new alien form in the series sometime down the road. the fanfic takes things from all 3 TV series but also derives things from the actual DC comics as well. Of course, I also created many of my own events and villains for it as well. Though, sometimes I give my readers a chance to choose what happens in an upcoming chapter.

In the series she's also a year older than Ben, who I have set at around 21 yrs old, so she would be 22 in Earth years. Even though she's soft and sweet with Ben, she's still a mean b***h with everyone else who gets on her nerves.

the story even takes her off character a few times as in not being a total evil being as she's now...what you would call...nuanced. She still has the attitude of a villain though.

New image update. This is the head shot - side view of my latest rider incarnation. Kamen Rider Ryuu-Oh. I was finally able to come up with an idea of hos his helmet looks after seeing images of PuToTyra.

Hey guys, I had ideas about this next drawing playing around in my head for awhile now. I'm currently writing up ideas and things for another future Kamen Rider series that crosses over with JLU. the series is based around OOO and changes the TV series ending a bit so that he keeps the Core Medals.

Anyway, I decided to draw this as it's one of the the two new Core Sets that Eiji will use later in the story. This form is called NuCerEn combo which is also known as the Hell Combo. It uses the Black Core Medals of Hell which are based around both K-9 Dog-like Gods and Demi-Gods. The Cores are based on the following.

Anubis (Head Medal) - Nu

Cerberus (torso Medal) - Cer

Fenrir (Leg Medal) - En

The form is almost a complete pitch black color with hints of red and gold on certain parts of the armor.

I have another form called MonRaHou which is based on three of the Egyptian Bird deities:

Monthu

Ra

Horus

This one will be mostly gold in Color and is also known as the Heaven Combo. I'll have the rough for that image up later.

very nice design, mixing animals from different mythologies, although i would have chosen another dog from mythology for the legs instead of Fenrir since it is a wolf but oh well, i still dig it, really want to see your other designs.

Yeah, I chose Fenrir as the mythological creatures for this form are all of a type of dog-like deity.

And i specifically chose Fenrir as it was stated in Norse mythology that it was Fenrir that would kill the King of the Norse Gods, Odin. (umm...no pun intended on your screenname though...just going by Norse mythology. )

The NuCerEn combo, being the Hell Combo, work s really well against those that have wicked hearts and also against supernatural beings. The legs have bladed wolf tails on the front of the shins. i took that idea from Geki-Wolf Touja from the GekiRanger series.

don't worry about the pun, it's unavoidable, norse mythology is probably one of the most used in any media, I just love my user name and have used it since i began using the internet. XD nice choice of colors btw.
